> 3 dayIve been 3D printing for a couple of years now and have used Elegoos ABS resin without issue (including their clear resin). I switched brands several months ago, but recently decided to purchase a single bottle of ELEGOOs CLEAR resin. I have not been able to get a successful print with this stuff. Has the formula changed? Did I get a bad batch? Prints are suddenly failing SPECTACULARY - despite using the recommended exposure times. I tried modifying the usual settings to no avail. Each time it failed, I had to CHISEL this stuff from the FEP film. Had to replace two films and never got a single part to print. Ive never seen anything like it. Also noticed this bottle had a strong chemical smell to it - something I have never noticed before while using ELEGOOs resin in the past. I love their printers, but I wont be taking another chance with their resin again. :-(

> 3 dayThis was my first bottle I ever bought so I dont have anything against which to compare. I chose this because the price was the lowest I could find and I wanted to learn the basics without breaking the bank. My first model on the Anycubic Photon was a success. Once cured in daylight the color looked much more yellow. Not sure if that is normal. Odor was not fun but as with any resin precautions must be taken.

> 3 dayThis is one of my favorite transparent resins for decorative pieces. The color is good, and it can be polished to a high degree of clarity. The only downsides for me are the occasional support failures and its surprisingly strong smell. Ive got an air filter in my printer, and its not enough. This is one of those cases where use in a well-ventilated area isnt a suggestion.
ELEGOO ABS-like photopolymer resin is a type of polymer that changes its physical properties when introduced to light, and it"s VOC free. In the case of 3D printing, this is a typical liquid plastic resin that hardens when exposed to a light source, such as a laser, a lamp, a projector or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and most of these light sources irradiate ultraviolet (UV) light, which works perfectly with our photocuring resin. Precautions:
