So a lot of people ask, why should I pay 150 bucks for what is essentially a macros keypad. The answer is the software. Elgato(and now corsair, who bought the company), have made it deceptively intuitive and simple to program complex commands and have them on the gamepad. I mainly use this for streaming my video games, so my knowlege on the adobe software macros are limited. But let me tell you, my workflow for streaming has become enjoyable. make a clip? press of a button. place a marker? Theres a button for that. The possibilities for me are just starting, so I cant imagine what someone who knows what theyre doing would be able to do with this. The software was buggy at first, but they are constantly updating and improving the app. Additionally, the model that I didnt work. Corsair was quick to respond and sent me a replacement quickly.

Significantly better than I expected it to be. Having this Stream Deck is such a quality of life improvement when it comes to streaming. Also, it actually feels high quality. The customization options are amazing and will greatly reduce the amount of time spent preparing each stream I have. Now, I only have to hit 3 buttons on my Deck and im good to go. Users with only one monitor will benefit from this the most I believe as with this stream deck, you no longer need to alt-tab out of your game to change things on OBS. You also dont have to worry about setting keybinding for OBS and accidentally hitting them while youre live. Users with Multiple monitors will also benefit from this as well. I personally have two monitors and still found this Stream Deck amazing. Being able to do pretty much everything stream related on my Stream Deck is the best and its so nice that I no longer need to do stuff on my second monitor. I can finally only use it for showing chat.

The sticker price might hurt, you will find it being used constantly regardless if your a Streamer, Gamer, Artist, You name it. Dont let the number of buttons (to many or to less) scare ya. Highly configurable and has so many uses. While it lacks some of the higher functions of Touch Portal, It gets the job done!

PROTIP: I could NOT find where to plug in the cable. There is an indent in the back. To one side is a port for the cable. Literally looked everywhere and didnt see it. Its very well hidden. I had to do some Youtube surfing to finally intuit where the plug goes. If youre not a podcaster or other creator do you NEED this? No. Do you WANT this? Yes! I just started assigning keys to it as I went through my day and am already starting to spill onto my second page of shortcuts (in a day). So many things that I can just fire up instead of having to find my cursor and click the right button. Yeah, its a luxury. No doubt...but dang...its so convenient and works great with a Mac! I love the feel of the keys and, honestly, theyre so very responsive. Theres a lot to love here. Now? Lets see if it holds up!

Not compatible with motherboards that do not have USB 2.0. Works but this has been crashing and freezing my computer up randomly. The only thing you can do is switch your USB 3.2 ports to legacy 2.0 and that kind of sucks because it switches all the ports to 2.0 causing problem would like my money back. This did not start happening until I upgraded from my old Alienware pc to the new game rig and it does not have a USB 2.0 port on it.

I do not use this for gaming or for music/ videos but as a hot button solution for mY daily work task. With little experience I was able to set up hot buttons to open files and websites with one click. It saves me a lot of time and has increased productivity.

This is the best addition I bought for my stream and setup. Not only does it handle everything I need for my stream but I can program buttons and create folders to open programs I need for work, open files I send frequently and anything else I can think of. I loved how easy it was to set up and use also if I change my mind boom I can change the buttons between sounds and items to pop up in my stream the deck is very versatile

You can assign multiple tasks and create multiple screens. Easy setup and operation, you do have to load the software on your computer. You can set it to open websites or programs. It is advertised for photo editing which I have not really seen much benefit to, but I do use it to open folders or programs to get things set up, overall I like the product as a easy way to have one button operation to open programs and websites I regular use.
