> 3 dayI purchased Elgato Stream Deck XL 32 buttons is working very well, the finish of its structure is matte and the animations that are placed either gifs or videos are more fluid as they have better optimized the system, I had bought Stream Deck 15 buttons and decided to fucionarlo / paste it as seen in the pictures getting an integration of the 2 accessories. What strikes me is that in the XL the buttons have a yellow contrast, since the Stream Deck of 15 buttons the contrast is blue, at the beginning it bothered me a little to see the buttons yellowish but now I am used to the contrast generated by the light of the streamdeck. This contrast or color change is not mentioned in the reviews or the youtube videos, it would be nice if someone could tell me. Anyway the functionality has been excellent, I started with 15 buttons but the 32 has been excellent. I suggest you buy the XL as it is an excellent purchase.

Greater than one weekI dont use this for gaming. I use mostly in AV programs like Final Cut Pro (video editor) and Digital Performer (digital audio workstation). Sadly, I also just use it from the Finder and use it more for loading Netflix and changing the volume and pausing/playing VLC movies than for doing real work. But is is just a joy to use. I still havent set it up all the way, but adding icons and custom action is quite easy. Im sure it would be great for Twitch streaming, as a switcher. If you like gadgets and have the money, you cant go wrong. Just to show a clock and CPU usage is worth it, plus quick buttons to load your favorite video sites. It is great for real work too. I use it to switch articulation for sampled instruments, etc. in my audio sequencer. I use it with a Mac, but it must work just as well with a PC.

> 3 dayYou can assign multiple tasks and create multiple screens. Easy setup and operation, you do have to load the software on your computer. You can set it to open websites or programs. It is advertised for photo editing which I have not really seen much benefit to, but I do use it to open folders or programs to get things set up, overall I like the product as a easy way to have one button operation to open programs and websites I regular use.

> 3 dayI myself am a cinematographer and editor (Blah blah blah cameras and movies and stuff) and I purchased this Stream Deck (XL) to improve my productivity while I do my editing. This beats any Macro keyboard or custom keybind kind of thing you could get out there. You can label the LCD buttons with text in the program, as well as put a background image (You can upload your own, or there is an open plugin hub where you can get other peoples custom stuff) to each key. The keyboard usually links to most of my software and I can use the macro buttons, but if it doesnt, I can set it to press a custom keybind (it also has Function keys as an option all the way from F1 - F24) to do specific tasks like saving a file. PLUGINS Plugins are usually tailored to specific programs. I have a plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio, VoiceMod, StreamLabs OBS, and a couple of the other things I like to tinker with. The keyboard can have more than one saved layout. I have twenty something versions of the board (Some for sound effects for discord, some for editing and working). There are different plugins for different things. Some plugins are just so you can have more pictures to use on your keys, some plugins are made to work with commonly used software like VoiceMod. So far, There is NOT a plugin made yet to work with Discord, but like I said before, you can always set custom keybinds to toggle mute, push to talk, deafen, and even share screen. FUNCTION The Stream Deck functions in a similar fashion to your PC. If your PC is off, so is your Deck. If your PC is on sleep, so is your Deck. It applies for pretty much anything. LCD keys are bright and combat my extremely heavy studio lighting. I have no trouble seeing each button clearly. HARDWARE This is sturdy in build (It looks cheap in the picture but it is quite heavy and rugged) and works nicely on the desk. The USB to USB-C cord is a thick braided cable, and will last a very long time if handled appropriately. The back end of the stand is detachable so you can lay the Stream Deck flat. There is traction pads both on the back of the tablet and on the bottom of the stand to stick on your desk nicely. You WILL have to rout the wire through the stand which is a hassle for me personally because of my horrendous lack of cable management, but ultimately Its worth the money. SOFTWARE The software is easy to install but can be hard to navigate to new users. YouTube is a reliable resource for tutorials if youve never used a Stream Deck, and If Im right, I think El Gato has their own set of tutorials, but I may be wrong so take that with a grain of salt. It is easy to learn, and fun to mess with. CONCLUSION Great product. Design is outstanding, and its mostly user friendly. I would recommend using this only for a PC or a Mac, as I dont think this would be beneficial on other devices. My user experience has been great, and I would recommend this to any editor, gamer, or PC enthusiast as an investment in your capabilities while you work / play.

Greater than one weekBuying these were a bit of a geeky indulgence rather than a necessity, but I do adore them. I have two of the XLs and one of the original 15 button versions. I use them at home and work. The software is fantastic and easy to use, unlike that of my Genovation CP24 (which I still use a lot but it is far less versatile than the Elgato.) I particularly like the new stand on the XL (the 15 button version was a bit flimsy) and its great that they have changed the design to a detachable USB type C connector. The price is a bit of a killer, so whilst I could certainly live without it - it is a lovely device to have (if you can afford it.)

Greater than one weekI use this to automate a lot of my workflow. Its far more customizable than extra keyboard/mouse buttons, so I highly recommend it for power users. Using additional pages and profiles, including profiles that automatically activate when a particular program is in focus, you can have much more than 15 commands. Obviously its great for online streaming too, since thats the main use case for it.

18-11-2024This is the best purchase I have made in a while. This is so useful, even more so than I knew when I purchased. The ability to add folders is hands down the best update they have done. So, first off, this is for anyone that uses their computer for more than surfing the web. It is basically a small board with 3 rows of 5 keys that are little screens. Each one is a button that you can assign a task to. From hotkeys to opening a program and even switching scenes in OBS. Now the great thing is you can assign a button to be a folder. When you click on it now it is a whole other level of buttons basically. I have mine set up with a folder of the apps that I frequently use or open when I turn on my computer. Then I have a folder of Adobe software. You can even set the buttons as functions in Adobe programs. Talk about versatile use. I can not say enough on how useful this Stream Deck is, this thing is pure AWESOME.

> 3 dayThis thing is perfect. My only gripe is I wish I could afford the bigger one LOL. Its so nice to have all my actions, soundboard, and scene swapping on the deck so im not fumbling around different macros on keyboard or other websites. You can control everything you need to, even spotify, lighting (key lights), sounds, Twitch/Mixer actions, streamlabs actions, etc. Its super versatile. Its kind of a no brainer to get. PS the iOS/android app is just as good and as big as this, only 2.99 per month. However, your phone is tied up so if you use that during stream you may want this guy instead. Superb product. Well built, the stand is great too. Looking forward to years of using it.
