> 3 dayThis is a great little device that can be useful for office workers too. I find very interesting that its so heavily marketed towards streamers. I received it today and after playing with it a little bit, I ended up adding a few stock tickers, controls for Spotify and Hue lights, and three clocks with time zones (I worked remotely for a company in a different time zone). I only regret now not buying the Stream Deck with more keys. Highly recommended!

Greater than one weekOverall a great product. I dont use for video or streaming-related stuff, I just use it as a generic macro-key auxiliary keyboard. First the pros: - Solid feel, it doesnt feel cheap (it shouldnt, because its not cheap :)) - VERY flexible configuration. You can add any image you want as an icon. Per-application profiles that automatically switch when that application is active give you almost unlimited utility. - Can use with the stand or without. Cons: The reason for 4 stars are a few minor things. - as others have mentioned, the cable could be a little longer. - The built-in icon set is rather underwhelming, this is offset by how easy it is to add your own images, but thats still a lot of work if you have dozens and dozens of buttons. - The drivers and firmware need a little work on how they handle staying connected to Windows 10 PC that hibernates. If you connect it to your computer via a powered hub, then when the PC hibernates, then the device stays on. If you connect it directly to a USB port on the PC, then it also powers off the device, but when the PC resumes from hibernate, the driver does not reestablish the connection to the Stream Deck, and it sits there with the generic boot up screen. Id probably change my review to 5 stars if this one thing was fixed. Without it, I must constantly unplug and then plug back in the Stream Deck.

> 3 dayForget streaming, this device is a GREAT tool if your work at a computer and perform a lot of repetitive tasks, or simply have trouble remembering hotkeys. I am a motion designer and primarily use After Effects, Illustrator and Premiere, and in the short time that Ive had the Streamdeck XL, it has become an indispensable part of my workflow. When used in combination with something like AutoHotkey on Windows, the sky is the limit and you will find yourself constantly looking for the next thing to automate and turn into a button. So far, I have not experienced any issues, and keep finding ways to make this more and more useful. I wish that the software allowed me to assign off-kb function keys (i.e. F23) as modifiers, but there is a plugin named Super Macro that comes in and fills in the gaps that the default Elgato software cant handle. A little pricey for what it is still, in my opinion, but I honestly wish I had gotten it sooner, based on the impact it is having on my work.

> 3 dayWOW! A customize-able keypad with LCD screens to tell you what you programmed it to! This is so much easier than memorizing keyboard shortcuts, or making several clicks of the mouse, even for simple tasks. It looks beautiful, is really easy to program, and easy to make icons. I bought this for gaming, but I first set it up on my home office PC and found it very useful for even trivial tasks. For folders, documents, and programs that I regularly open from a pinned icon on my taskbar and using the right-click context menu now come up at one press. I even mapped the folder where I store my reviews, text editor, and screen shot tool setup easier than ever. And Quicken & word docs for bills & notes. The rubber feet hold sturdy for me in any position on clean surface. It turns on/off with your PC, and buttons only appear when you log into your PC. You can also tell it to turn off the screen after a certain amount of time (I use 15 minutes). The software is trivial to download and install, and it just works after you plug it in for the first time. It is so easy to drag actions onto buttons, and to set them with text and what you want them to do. Creating icons is surprisingly easy too, although slightly indirect. When you choose create icon, it opens a web page from their site with an online editor and templates. Then you save the icon which download a file. Then you use set icon from file opening that file. It actually is pretty fast to do a number of them because it remembers the folders you save to or open from. You can even toggle on/off or reorder the actions available so you dont have to wade through things you dont have. But I really bought this for gaming for a few games that are heavy on the keyboard commands that cannot all map to my controller or racing wheel, and are easy to forget. For example, turn on ignition, headlights, or shift into drive once a session for a bus simulator where the rest is controlled by things I mapped to my wheel, but there are only so many buttons that exist to map, and you have to remember them. Now the keys are truly custom and obvious. The only drawbacks are this: (1) The contoured shape of the buttons refracts the light at the edges. So small text near the edges may appear cut off when not viewed straight-on, so you will learn quickly and adjust your icons and text size & placement. But the contoured shape is also what makes them so elegant! (2) Unlike Logitech gaming mouse button configuration, there is no option to record and playback a full set of keyboard commands (with or without recorded delays). But it does have simple hotkey like 2 keys pressed together, and it separately has text input to replay, but cannot do both like sleep your PC by Windows+X, then U, then S. But simple hot keys are good enough for me to love this device.

> 3 dayAs a full time photographer, I was on the fence about this product for so long, and now I highly recommend it to people whos workflow involves a computers . Its abilities to download plugins/and or create macros literally gives it endless automated possibilities with enough patience to figure it out. I didnt know anything about making macros, but Im very patient and the final functions are really cool and save me TONS of time. I now use this for: -opening folders that I use daily -Creating folders, importing photos from SD card, converting photos, resize LR, PS, and youtube on my ultrawide montior. - Exporting two different photo - Switch between speakers and headphones - Stocks and Crypto! I love this, I choose my favorite and they update green/red every min. - Rust (Videogame) tons of usefull macros depending on modded server. example /heli - Opening my email, Google drive, invoices, and just about any website I use very often - email templetes I use often Just about everything I do on my computer Ive figured out how to do use streamdeck with it. and it just makes everything efficient.Btw, I dont use it to stream ever.

> 3 dayLet me first stat to say that I did not purchase Stream Deck for gaming purposes. I purchased this thing for my office. I use so many different programs at my work that I needed something where I could program all the shortcuts in to it, in order to save me time. Stream Deck is absolutely amazing!!!! This device is saving me a ton of time. I couldnt be happier. I was so pleased with it, that I purchased a second one for my home office. Here is my quick review: Pros: Price - are you kidding me, I would expect to pay twice as much for a device that I could program shortcuts in to for every software I use: like Acrobat... This time saving Gem is absolutely amazing. And the price is perfect. Quality - it is very well built. You feel the quality and time that went in to this device. Cons: One huge problem at first, which, by the way, nearly made me send this thing back, was lack of any real instructions. in fact, my second Stream Deck came with no paperwork at all. This device is not easy to program... No, it is easy to program, once you figure out how to program. But until that time it is useless. I had to watch several YouTube videos on programming this device. Overall, once you get over this hurdle of programming this little marvel, you will find it extremely useful for everyday work and even for play. I highly recommend it.

Greater than one weekNon-streamer here, but I use it for various shortcuts and to control things like Discord, Foundry, and my monitors back-lights. Each button is a small video screen that changes as you select things, so setting up nested folders and additional pages gives you the ability to drop in as many commands as you could want. The software is exceptionally easy to navigate and set up. If the device or program you are looking to control has a plug in on the official store, then setting up the controls is as easy as dragging and dropping. I set up a few custom multi actions to get to certain deeper settings on my computer, get to particular websites I dont care to bookmark, and to launch multiple programs at the same time. There are a lot of practical uses for it outside of streaming control.
