Works as advertised. I used it this season for remotely turning on and off my holiday lighting systems. And my Smart home Z-Wave system allowed me to set timing programs. Its a dual three prong outlet.

Pricey for only being able to turn on/off both outlets at once - but it works well. Paired with my HUSBZB-1 stick and HomeAssistant easily, and helped range issues I was having with my Kwikset 910 front door lock, as it kept losing its pairing with my z-wave stick.

This is a great iot plug. Worked right out of the box with Alexa and my Smartthings hub. It doesnt block the other outlet when you plug it in. I have an older house with only two wire outlets and it works fine. I Had to install new three prong wire outlet but the ground is not connected. Only complaint I have is that the blue light on top is kinda bright for the bedroom. Had to put black electrical tape over the light

Easy to install with my Nexia system. I did not need tech support but when I use Nexia tech support they have been friendly, understand my communication even though I don’t speak technical and easy to understand their instructions and communication.

I have over 25 z-wave devices in my home connected to Alexa. Either directly through Alexa or via an Alexa Skill (SmartThings, Phillips Hue, Arlo). This is the first GE Enbrighten device I have purchased. It is connected to both SmartThings Apps. However, it does not connect to Alexa. Thus, no need for me to keep. I will try again tomorrow and if I cant get it to work I will have to work. If COVID-19 wasnt around I could probably call customer service to see if they can assist. Unfortunately, that is not an ootion and I dont have the patience to wait until this pandemic is over. I need something now.

We purchased this item back in late 2017 but never installed it - until recently (January 2022). After 3 months it started making a constant clicking noise - like a relay closing and opening again - very loud and noticeable. Our Z-Wave controller also shows the switch as offline. Reset or re-integration with Z-Wave isnt possible and clicking noise persists. Cannot recommend.

Not sure why some people are having issues with using this switch with Smarthings (other than when smarthings is having other issues). I have a Gen 1 that I have been using for over 2 years and now this Gen 2 and they both work with no problems at all. The Gen2 does not have the rubber plug to cover the outlet, so if you plan on leaving it mounted outside with nothing plugged in this could be a problem. I dont mount mine so not issue for me.

First, it has to work with legacy Leviton Z-Wave systems, and it does. Some of the devices marked as Z-Wave Plus dont work with some of the earlier controllers that connect to the HAI Omni security systems. This one does. It will work with the Vizia RF + Plug-in Serial Interface Module RS232 (VRC0P-1LW) connected to an HAI or Leviton Home Automation system. It was very easy to pair, and with the blue power LED on top, its easy to see that the switch is on. Also, the dual plugs are handy, when you have two items (like a light and something else) to control.

I have this connected to a Hubitat C7 and at random times of the day, it sends a barrage of status messages to the hub with on/off status. Enbrighten Tech Support say its a problem with my hub, but all the hub is doing is monitoring and displaying real time messages sent over z-wave. This will be the last Enbrighten/Jasco product buy.
