> 3 dayWorks as advertised. Plugged it into our Low voltage lighting and its so much easier to program than timer switches. Also setup routines with other lights.

> 3 dayI replaced a vacuum cord my dog chewed. He actually chewed 2 vacuum cord and one required 3 prong and the other 2 prong. With a little soldering and time I got my vacuums working again.

> 3 dayWas very careful to install the product correctly and it just stopped working after less than 6 months…. Really difficult to figure out who to call for product support.

> 3 dayI purchased several of these when I first started using home automation. They are easy to install, even if you are new to z-wave like I was. I like that they are still functional after a power outage...some brands lose z-wave function if the power is interrupted and you have to physically be present to repair the z-wave network....these come right back online, which is huge when you are using them remotely for a vacation home or if you are on vacation and the power goes out. I use then with both an IQ panel and a smart things hub at two different locations.

> 3 dayI always seem to need more of these switches around the holidays as we put up more electrical decorations. I add these switches to my ADT Pulse security system and have it turn on/off the lights according to the schedule I set.

> 3 dayThese GE Zwave on / off plugs are the best. I have tried and returned the cheaper ones but wont do it again. Spend the extra couple bucks and forget the hassles and drop-offs.

> 3 dayWorked perfect and connected to my z-wave without issue. The unit is part of a home automation system controlling landscape lights.

> 3 dayI will first state that this is my second GE outdoor Z-Wave switch, I also own the Gen 1 model as well. Similarities between Gen 1 and Gen 2: 1. Lets just start with this. Either model will just work and work well, Ive had no issues. They easily connected to my Hubitat hub. They are both obviously outside and so not exactly super close to my Hubitat hub but Ive never had an issue with them losing connection or not working. 2. They both have physical on/off buttons Why is Gen 2 better then Gen 1: 1. Smaller 2. Includes the ability to mount to something 3. Removes the stupid rubber plug cover Gen 1 has that is literally useless Connecting to Hubitat hub and usage: I had no problems connecting this to my Hubitat hub. I plugged it in near the hub, Hubitat picked it up right away and it was added. From there I added it to my controls and processes and it just works flawlessly. Theres nothing really more to say about this product, its a simple outdoor Z-wave plug. It just works and doesnt add complication. If you are looking for a outdoor Z-wave plug to control things like lights, holiday lights or decorations or similar this should be high on your list. Others products might be cheaper or have 2 plugs instead of just one (I saw a few when looking for a second plug) but I went with this one out of a little fear those other generic name brand plugs might cause me more of a headache in the end by giving me issues with my hub, disconnections or not always responding to commands. I cant tell you if that fear is warranted, I can tell you this is my second GE Z-wave outdoor plug and Ive used Gen 1 for over a year and now Gen 2 through this years holidays with no issues to speak of. My Hubitat hub automatically knew what this device was and used the GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Smart Switch driver that Hubitat has built in, no need to use the generic driver or add a driver. I am currently running Hubitat v2.2.4.158. When I originally added the Gen 1 plug last year Hubitat did not have this specific GE driver and instead used the generic plug driver, which also worked just fine so you should be set either way.

> 3 dayPricey for only being able to turn on/off both outlets at once - but it works well. Paired with my HUSBZB-1 stick and HomeAssistant easily, and helped range issues I was having with my Kwikset 910 front door lock, as it kept losing its pairing with my z-wave stick.

> 3 dayFirst, it has to work with legacy Leviton Z-Wave systems, and it does. Some of the devices marked as Z-Wave Plus dont work with some of the earlier controllers that connect to the HAI Omni security systems. This one does. It will work with the Vizia RF + Plug-in Serial Interface Module RS232 (VRC0P-1LW) connected to an HAI or Leviton Home Automation system. It was very easy to pair, and with the blue power LED on top, its easy to see that the switch is on. Also, the dual plugs are handy, when you have two items (like a light and something else) to control.
