> 3 dayEasy to program and worked great and easily with my Wink hub. These give you two plugins per outlet and dont cover the other outlet as long as you plug it into the lower outlet.

> 3 dayWorks great with the wink hub. This is the second generation lighting control with z wave plus. The only thing I did not like compared to the previous version is the second outlet is no longer a pass through. They are now both switched.

Greater than one weekI have it connect to Abode Security Iota hub. There is manual switch to turn it on and off. Pros: 1. Simple to setup and pair. 2. Simple to connect to Alexa (depends on your Z-wave hub). 3. Simply works. Could be better: 1. The size can be smaller as I think its kind big. It will cover a couple of outlets on surge protector unless you use the brick plug port. It takes up 1-outlet on normal 2-outlets wall plug. 2. The price is bit high but it works so I dont mind.

> 3 dayI will first state that this is my second GE outdoor Z-Wave switch, I also own the Gen 1 model as well. Similarities between Gen 1 and Gen 2: 1. Lets just start with this. Either model will just work and work well, Ive had no issues. They easily connected to my Hubitat hub. They are both obviously outside and so not exactly super close to my Hubitat hub but Ive never had an issue with them losing connection or not working. 2. They both have physical on/off buttons Why is Gen 2 better then Gen 1: 1. Smaller 2. Includes the ability to mount to something 3. Removes the stupid rubber plug cover Gen 1 has that is literally useless Connecting to Hubitat hub and usage: I had no problems connecting this to my Hubitat hub. I plugged it in near the hub, Hubitat picked it up right away and it was added. From there I added it to my controls and processes and it just works flawlessly. Theres nothing really more to say about this product, its a simple outdoor Z-wave plug. It just works and doesnt add complication. If you are looking for a outdoor Z-wave plug to control things like lights, holiday lights or decorations or similar this should be high on your list. Others products might be cheaper or have 2 plugs instead of just one (I saw a few when looking for a second plug) but I went with this one out of a little fear those other generic name brand plugs might cause me more of a headache in the end by giving me issues with my hub, disconnections or not always responding to commands. I cant tell you if that fear is warranted, I can tell you this is my second GE Z-wave outdoor plug and Ive used Gen 1 for over a year and now Gen 2 through this years holidays with no issues to speak of. My Hubitat hub automatically knew what this device was and used the GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Smart Switch driver that Hubitat has built in, no need to use the generic driver or add a driver. I am currently running Hubitat v2.2.4.158. When I originally added the Gen 1 plug last year Hubitat did not have this specific GE driver and instead used the generic plug driver, which also worked just fine so you should be set either way.

> 3 daySuper sleek, polished products like these, no wondering GE and Jasco Products are an industry leader in smart home and home automation. This new zwave plus model is a visual overhaul compared to the regular zwave option, its curves and style bring a smile and delight when compared to other companies, ugly plug ins. Zwave plus as you may know offers much fast processing, more memory and up to x3 range, compared to regular zwave. Some devices like these can go up to 300 feet! We tested on wink hub v2, samsung smartthings hub v2, vera edge and vera lite and were thoroughly impressed how easy it was to pair, reset, unpair and control. On smarthings in particular the device seemed to respond to on off commands almost before our figure left the touch screen of the ios app! It also works with alexa and google home. Zwave plus is a cut above zigbee and of course knocks wifi out of the park. Additionally with zwave plus, sensors and switches like these have even lower power draw, extending your batteries further and saving you money! Both outlets are controlled together, (not independently) which is very key as most people use a splitter connected to their old 1 plug in models to do more than 1 lamp/appliance simultaneously. A great feature. If you have a choice between ge jasco zwave plus vrs anything else, zwave, zigbee, or a different company, do you self a different favour and stick with an industry leader with top quality products like this dual switch. Incredible quality, 1st in class!

Greater than one weekWe currently have Vivint as our home security/automation system (with which were quite pleased with both their hardware, software and customer service), and were in the process of looking at how to extend automation via Z-Wave. For us, integrating this device was beyond simple. I plugged the unit into the desired wall outlet (probably about forty feet away from the base panel -- and thats going through a couple of walls), turned the unit on by pressing the top button once, went to the panel and put it into installer mode so it could sense for Z-Wave devices. The panel found the device and assigned to the system appropriately. I then named the device and set some custom rules for it. So far, not one issue. Definitely recommend.

Greater than one weekThe fist generation had a pass through plug. Always on. This one, both are controlled, not separately but both are either on or off. Love the light to show you if it is on, miss the pass through plug. 15 Amp so you can run a line voltage heater (space heater) with it. Works great with ADT Pulse. Pairing is a piece of cake.
