> 3 dayThis outlet is great, low profile with plugs on the side. Makes toggling my other less cooperative smart devices easier.

> 3 dayAfter quite a bit of research I bought a few of these to replace Wemo smart plugs. The Wemo’s kept disconnecting from wifi and often even went back into setup mode, which made them incredibly unreliable (Only devices on my network that kept disconnecting). I bought these only recently but they’ve been perfect. Setup took under a minute each and they seem to work great with my SmartThings hub (connected into Home Assistant). They aren’t as slim or sleek looking as the wemo’s, in fact they’re relatively on the large side. But having the plugs on the sides allows you to put furniture closer to the wall/socket, and despite their size I can easily connect bulky 3 prong plugs underneath them. Really happy with the purchase.

> 3 daySetup was flawless with my SmartThings server. Apparently device is indeed controlled directly, not through the internet (Z-wave, vs Z-wave plus). Both outlets are controlled together (not separately) which I expected but really did not see described anywhere. Top has a square button in the center which is lit when the outlets are off. Pressing the button enabled the outlets and dims the button. Quality seems good. Unit designed to go on your upper outlet. Doing so leaves enough room for most plugs you would use for some other item.

> 3 dayring setup tips-- I couldnt find anywhere else (quickly), so thought I would share here -- to add, select security (not smart plug -- since that is ring) then scroll down to works with ring -- then, to switch new devices to be on the extender, just trigger them once or twice and/or use the connect button and then the signal warning icon in the individual sensor summary screen (battery, alerts on / off page, etc.) should go away (ring support-- please add this to the summary line, after the word closed-- low signal so its easier to find which devices need troubleshooting)

Greater than one weekRock solid switches! Works perfectly with Samsung Smart Things! Own 6 of these now. Super reliable and dont lose connections like the iHome Wi-Fi units I used previously. Just wish they were little smaller. Otherwise, great product!

> 3 dayIt worked well. Then, after two years, the blue light on top began clicking on and off; and it quit working. I discovered, after reading the reviews, that this smart plug commonly dies after two years. It’s a shame companies appear to purposefully build products that fail after the warranty expires, hoping customers will buy the product again. I won’t.

> 3 dayAlmost 2 years to the date since I bought these switches. I bought 2 of them for my Kitchen area and bar area. Initial installation and pairing with SmartThings was just fine had no issues. The outlet pretty much worked as expected for the most part for 2 years. Then one day we removed one from the outlet to plug something else in temporarily. Plugged unit back in and the switch no longer works. It continues to turn on and off and on and off over and over. So I decided to try my 2nd switch at the other side of the room. It does the same thing. After much troubleshooting with the app and SmartThings support I get one of them to stop and start working again. One of them will not. That was the case for about a week or so when further troubleshooting by SmartThings suggestions and my 2nd switch starts doing it again. On and off and on and off over and over. You cannot reset the switch it is worthless now both of them and $70. Smart things now says that this GE switch is not supported and I need to contact the Mfg of the switch. The Mfg says its supported by Smart Things. So its the blame game now. In the end.. This switch should NOT be advertised as supported by Smart Things. I have multiple devices on my Smart Things home and most of them work fine. This one does not. I would avoid if you are on Smart Things. Im frustrated with both so I may end up leaving Smart Things for another system all together.
