> 24 hourHeavy nice projector. The brightness is perfect which allows you not to have to sit in complete darkness to see a nice picture. Just plug it in and start watching movies. I recommend that you use high quality HDMI cables to get the best picture. I upgraded my Verizon cable box to 4K and could not get a picture and the same with my 4K DVD player. I tried everything but Epson support helped and suggested changing the cables and it worked perfectly. It turned out that cables that were installed in the theater room when the house was built (8 years ago) were out dated.

> 24 hourVery bright and at most times the image is sharp. But, there are a lot of unpleasant visual effects. Dont really know how to describe it. When there were desert sands on screen there was like pink blobs.. when showing the sky there was massive rainbow effects. Honestly, the cheap 70$ one this replaces didnt have these problems. Im not going to return it but I would not have bought it had I known the picture would be like it is.

> 24 hourThe horizontal lens shift dial is defective and does not work. While Amazon is going to refund me, its a shame they sold this product and certified that it works properly when it in fact does not, which a phone call with Epson confirmed. Its a waste of time having to navigate these issues and return the item.

> 24 hourWe are extremely pleased with this home cinema. The picture is bright and clear, even when the room is not totally dark. It is a huge improvement over our former home cinema projector. We highly recommend it!

> 24 hourI found this projector to be too bright for a 84 diagonal screen. Beyond putting the lamp in ECO mode, there is no variable lamp brightness control. I spoke with epson customer service and they confirmed this. The projector is great during the day, but it is blinding at night, even on its dimmest setting. It seems like other epson projectors have a 30-100% lamp brightness control, but not this one. Its too bad because it is hard to find a 4k projector with a long-throw lens like this one has. Otherwise, the projector seemed great. If you have ambient light or a much larger screen, this would be a good choice.

> 24 hourI was hesitant to purchase based on some reviews complaining of inconsistent sharpness across the image. Here I am to tell you this is absolutely true. When I perfect focus the center to see the pixels, the edges are blurred. I can focus the edges, but then lose the center. Cannot focus entire screen. I have laser leveled the projector dead center to the screen and am within its range (17.5ft for 120”). I just got a replacement unit, exact same problem. Specifically bad in bottom right corner. Oh and lo and behold other reviewers complaining of the same bottom right corner. These things are a pot shoot. Maybe you’ll get a good one, I got two bad ones. I’m done. NOT a quality device, just has expensive components. Doesn’t matter what the windows look like if the foundation is trash. That’s this. Don’t fall for it. Plastic junk.

> 24 hourThis projector has all the bells and whistles that one would want in a modern projector. The projector accepts a wide range of placement from 4 feet to 30 feet and this should fit most use case scenarios. The picture was sharp, detailed and bright after calibrating. The fan noise was acceptable in a normal apartment. PROS - image quality is top notch with 4K source and pixel shifting - capable of up to 3000 lumen brightness, but you wont come anywhere near this once calibrated - full 10 bit color gamut - HDMI 2.0 for 18 Gb/s throughput - low input lag (in the mid 20s ms), great for gaming - built in 10W speakers an also capable of Bluetooth aptX output CONS - Not true 4K but unless you have another few thousand you want to shell out, this is the best it gets - No optical digital audio out, audio out is analog only using 3.5mm stereo jack

> 24 hourI got his PJ because it has high light output and a smaller form factor than its big brothers. I figured the lack of a full DC3 color pallet was an acceptable tradeoff. The colors are still incredible, I dont feel I traded off a thing and the brightness thrown up on an ALR Gray Elite Screen is fantastic even during the day it looks like a TV not a PJ. Way to go Epson! PS- The remote is great too.

> 24 hourThis is my very first projector. We have been using it for more than 70 hours now with Elite Screens Spectrum2 120 inch screen. The video input is an old Apple TV which is 1080p. The device is sitting next to the couch and we are using the horizontal and vertical lens shift. What we like so far: - Even with 1080p input, the image quality is fantastic (very detailed and sharp, can count the number of pores on the faces). - In the ECO mode, the machine is pretty quiet. It is next to the couch and it does not bother. In the non-ECO modes, the fan noise is higher but this is not needed unless there is plenty of sunlight. - Bluetooth audio works flawlessly with Klipsch R-51PM. This was a big unknown as specs were confusing in terms of which speakers supported or not. As soon as we turn on the machine, it automatically connects. This capability was very important for us as we do not use A/V receiver and have a stereo + sub setup. When lens shift is maxed out, there is a bit of softness on the shifted corner which we do not mind. Lately, most content is using shallow depth of focus anyway - which I personally find very annoying. Summary: Highly recommend.
