> 3 dayIm new to projectors. Only have a cheap $200 one to compare it to. Picture is sharp, very bright, works well in room even when the window shades are open. No complaints. Good value for the money.

> 3 dayThis projector is very good. We were pleased with the performance. We were able to make the screen very big. We were happy with the company. They are very popular with these projectors. It worked without a problem. It was a big increase in quality from our last one. So far so good.

> 3 dayBack in the 1990s and 2000s I had several Epson projectors and generally they were refurbished units. They all performed very well and I could see no difference in quality from a new unit. This year I have tried two Epson products, the LS300 ultra short throw and this unit the Home Cinema 3800 and both were refurbished and both had issues and were defective. The 3800 has bad and crackling speakers and when they did so, it would cause the image to flicker. Also the video playback would randomly shut off by itself and the unit would power down. Also the remote would not power down the unit. In order to turn it off, you had to turn it off at the unit. Also the 4k image quality has not as expected. The black levels were not good. There were no blacks just light greys. Black levels were far better on SD but still not great. 4k playback looked very good in bright scenes and dismal in dark scenes. This was actually the same with the LS300 which had an alleged contrast ratio or 1000,000:1 but it looked more like 5000:1. Maybe this was due to the units being refurbished but possible Epson is simply not what it used to be.

> 3 dayThe screen from the beginning would not focus on all 4 corners. I have this ceiling mounted, and I suspect the lens is not designed to be mounted from the ceiling. If the text at the top of the screen was in focus, the text at the bottom would be slightly out of focus. This happened with 2 projectors (sent the first one back for a replacement). The replacement lasted 10 months. I will report back after I go through the warranty process with Epson. If that goes well, I might adjust my review positively. Customer service is important.

> 3 dayThis is a TERRIFIC projector. Im a trial lawyer, and I bought it to display documents to the jury on a screen at trial. The old projector made it hard to tell whether someone had initialed a document or not. This one, by contrast, made the evidence clear and convincing, as we say in my line of work. Youll love it. You will also need to figure out some way to carry it around, because it is a big mother, but worth the heft.

> 3 dayI’ve had the projector for almost a year now and all I can said is that’s it’s everything that i paid for… the Picture is great!! And along with all the great features it has duel inputs which is a lifesaver… Knock on wood the only thing Ive has to do was clean the air filter… it’s definitely upgrade from the old generic 1080p!! Highly recommended for any set-up!! What made it so much easier was being able to pay monthly for it!
