> 24 hourInstall was moderately difficult due to programming the Honeywell Vista 20P. The device communicates with the central server provided by seller but fails to send alert emails and text messages. It does show status at central server and I can arm or disarm the system remotely, just would be nice if I could get the alert feature working. If I ever get it figured out, I may change my rating.

> 24 hourBought a home with an ADT panel…didn’t want to pay ADT to monitor. I bought this, plugged it in and have been monitoring remotely ever since. Nothing fancy, but it works.

> 24 hourThis is the answer to monitoring your DSC panel without a home phone or paid alarm company monitoring. Very easy to install. Has more features than expected. It even looks like it set my date and time. Webpage and Android app are perfect. It even saves timestamps that zones opened or closed. Sorry I didnt find this sooner.

> 24 hourFunctional module, but the customer support is rude, condescending, and utterly unhelpful. The promised Envisalerts feature was nonfunctional for a day or two after installing. I inquired with their customer service for support, but they only responded with one sentence answers like read the FAQ and check your spam folder. Pathetic troubleshooting and customer relations skills. Unacceptable. After a few days, the email alerts started magically working... but no valid excuse/explanation from the company. One of the main reasons I bought this module was to monitor zone activity via email alerts. Well, they crudely limit this feature by only allowing you to monitor a single zone. What is this, the 1990s? Complaining about excessive traffic on your servers is a lame excuse this day in age. Overall, this looks product looks like a C-rate hobbyist figured out how to emulate a control panel and wrapped a half-baked buggy service around the product. I wouldnt be surprised if that back end was powered by something silly like WordPress.

> 24 hour6 MONTH UPDATE: Flawless. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Off the bat, the developers knocked this one out of the park. Well done by our Canadian friends! I added this to our old school Honeywell Vista 20p alarm. The kit came with the 4-wire 22g pigtail needed to connect to the alarm panel and double-sided mounting tape (I suggest using this to avoid grounding out any solder points). Contrary to at least one reviewer, the Envisalink-4 board easily fits in my Vista 20p Alarm box. I have the Honeywell 6150 non-verbose keypad (cheaper version) and had no problem programming the unit to accommodate the Envisalink-4 module. You should check out YouTube videos first if youve never programmed a Honeywell alarm to get the hang of it. If you have the 6160 keypad, programming will be easier. Youll need the Installer Code and the Envisalink-4s well-written instructions if you need to reset the Installer Code. Assuming the Installer Code is 1234, practice going in and out of programming mode by entering the following on your Honeywell keypad: 1234800 <should show 20 on the display and you are now in programming mode> *99 <to leave programming mode>. As others have noted, this board only supports a wired Ethernet connection, WiFi is not supported. There are wireless>Ethernet adapters that others have mentioned that can be used if necessary. Our setup is a single partition (what most have) with 18 zones and 1 keypad. After successful completion of adding the Envisalink-4, I can now control the alarm from my Android phone, receive phone alerts (very timely, a big deal indicating this Companys servers are well-maintained), and can arm/disarm the alarm using Alexa (search Alexas Skill Store for eyezon). Alexa, arm stay, Alexa, arm away, & Alexa, disam commands work. Note, arm Max & arm Instant do not work using Alexa, a limitation of Alexa, not Eyezon. Unfortunatelyy, this unit does not yet integrate cleanly with Google Home, a welcomed improvement. As others have mentioned, the Eyezon/Envisalink app suite can be a bit confusing. But, once configured, its all you need. In case it helps others, there are actually 3 apps. 1. A LAN app that youll use during the initial installation. Youll access this through the Envisalink-4 assigned IP address (such as 192.168.1.233). 2. A Web app where youll configure the Envisalink-4 (name, time zone, alarm zones, alerts, ...). 3. A Phone app that youll ultimately use to arm/disarm and check the alarm status. The Web app requires you to establish an account. Once logged in, configure your Envisalink-4 DEVICE including adding the Zone identifiers. Then note Contacts. These are important and is where you set up ALERTS. An initial Contact is created relating to your phone. This has a feature no other contacts have, and that is the option to use Eyezon Alert tones (pretty odd) or use the phones Alert tones. Otherwise, add other Contacts using SMS to get phone alerts for ea user. Once you understand these basics, it all comes together nicely in the end and it works fantastic. In my case, I disconnected the transformer & battery backup to the Honeywell gsmv4g central station communication controller (white box sitting above the Alarm Panel). The transformer always felt hot anyway and likely consuming unecessarry energy. A few notes to the Developers: 1. You created an awesome product that saved many of us from going the Ring Alarm +Retrofit Kit route. 2. Please consider Google Home integration. 3. For configurations that have only one Partition, please consider removing all references to Partitions in the alerts and status reports, theyre unecessarry. 4. There are three references to the Honeywell instructions. A webpage that says the instructions are outdated and to use a link to a PDF file instead. And two PDF files that have different names (one having a 2018 date). The two PDF files are identical (based on a Linux diff). SUGGESTION: consolidate the PDF files or go back to usng a web page that you can easily modify as needed and everyone has the latest instructions via a link. A 5-star product regardless of the minor shortcomings. Well done.

> 24 hourI monitor my alarm system through email and a cell phone- this device sends messages indicating changes in alarm status such as arming/disarming, disconnect as a consequence of black out or disconnected internet. You can even determine what circuit is a problem if the alarm goes off.
