> 3 dayAlarm company wanted just over $1000 to make my DSC1832 to connect to the internet so we could self monitor. I thought, “how could I go wrong?” Followed the easy directions, also watched the YouTube video from the company, and Viola! Works great, connects with our Amazon Echo, and was sooooooo simple! My only complaint is the app doesn’t update after arming or disarming without refreshing it or restarting. On the, plus, side, app also sends notifications to the Apple Watch, and everyone in the household can get the notifications. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayI had an Ademco 20P panel in a house I had built in 1999 with ADT installation that included multiple zones and sensors. Going into retirement, I wanted to cut expenses and expand the functionality so I could monitor it myself, control it remotely, and move over to a new monitoring group. Installation took about a day, being very careful to label all the wires, and taking time to correctly run an ethernet cable from the panel to the WiFi AP/router. It required some reprogramming to make it work, and in this the EVL-4 instructions were a bit inadequate, but I finally worked my way through what they meant after a call to support. Hopefully EyezOn is an honest group. The information they get on all sensor triggers and arming/disarming, and having the ability to remotely disarm without my knowledge (or not notify me of events if they chose) is disconcerting. But I realized that I could use a new monitoring system on the old phone modem and use the EVL-4 for self-monitoring and control, and that would prevent them from arming or disarming without my knowledge. The app is a little under-powered, but adequate. I hope they will expand both it and the card capabilities to permit more transparent control and more nuanced reporting selections. Updated 17 Jul 2021: EyezOn decided that too many alerts were being sent from the system, and deleted the account user I had set up to monitor it, without telling me. So for several months alerts werent going where they should have been. So be aware, you have to watch out for changes in policy, or decisions that your activity is excessive, if you are counting on this module to watch your home for you.

> 3 dayThis is a nice addition for a DSC Alarm Panel that gives you an cell phone app to view the status while away from the home. Note: you cannot program the alarm panel through this app, just view the status.

> 3 dayEasy to install and program. App works well. Can get app notifications, emails, and text messages whenever there is an event with the alarm system. Even tells you when your internet goes down, so that it cant monitor.
