> 24 hourThese pencils are superior to the two other brands that I have used. When I was a child, I started with Crayola. Crayola did its job, as did Derwent, the next brand I tried. After switching to Faber Castell Polychromos, I realized that Ive been using the wrong pencils throughout my entire life. These pencils are smooth, yet do not smudge away. They draw precise lines, and they will fill a page with dense color with out having to use much pressure. Looking to upgrade to unbeatable professional quality? Here ya go.

> 24 hourThis product is sold through Amazon by different sellers. I bought it from The Brand Spot and THEY SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. If the seller shown by default doesn’t ship to your country, go to “[number] new from $[price]” and try with a different vendor. I tried these pencils before ordering the set so when I did I already knew that they were fantastic. If you can buy a few open stock it would be perfect so you can be sure you want to invest almost $200.00 in colored pencils. I think they are totally worth it! The colors are vibrant and easy to apply and they blend perfectly. You can check other reviews here which include works painted using Polychromos and see their performance. I know that some people have advised here to buy them cheaper on eBay but I would strongly discourage international buyers from doing so. This product is Fulfilled by Amazon which means that if the package is lost or damaged Amazon will take responsibility for the lost. So in my case it’s worth paying a little bit more just to be sure you will receive your pencils.

> 24 hourThese Faber-Castell are excellent pencils, after using the cheap Scholar Prism color pencils which I also wrote a review on, there is no comparison. I absolutely love these, theyre smooth and loaded with color pigment. I cannot get over the difference, there pricey but if you enjoy art work, sketching , drawing or coloring you will love these. Dont waste your $$ on the cheaper ones. Im very happy with these, just wish I had bought them in the first place.

> 24 hourI have tried a lot of pencils, but these are my favorites. They dont pop as much as some of the more pigmented pencils out there, but they lay down the best layers and blends of any of the top brands. They also work so well with many of the other top brands. I tried all the major brands in small doses and this was the only brand that I purchased in a full set of colors. Well, this set and the Blick Studio set, which are limited in colors (91 total) but are great pencils for the price.

> 24 hourThese pencils are as wonderful as everyone says. I read a ton of reviews before buying because I am no artist so any investment in quality materials has to pay off in pure personal pleasure and satisfaction. Everything I read said they are wonderful, but I started with the small set of 12 anyway. I wanted to see if the pencil quality would encourage me to draw more. The quality does! I would love to have bought the set of 60 or even 120. I can already see from the greatly increased time I am spending drawing that that day will come. I enjoy using these pencils so much more than other colored pencils Ive tried. The color lays down beautifully. Its easy to achieve effects from translucent through saturated and opaque. No bloom because they are not wax based. Just outstanding in every way!

> 24 hourI had great hopes for this pencil set and they were met. I am completely pleased with the broad color range they offer and the quality of pigmentation is superb. When I received the set I notice how vibrant and intense the colors really are, you can keep a fine point and make therefore fine detail with them. Overall this pencil set is worth its Price. I would only suggest the Company to make more neutral colors. The only downside to this colors is that if you like painting in paper other than White they may not show as much, particularly on black paper. the White color is very very opaque and hardly noticeable even on White paper. As well the metallic color pencils, which are gold, silver and copper are very dry and scratchy when you use them and Im not able to notice them much on normal paper.

> 24 hourOk First if all don’t let a lot of these misleading people tell you they are the best , second they ARE NOT easy to blend those that they say they are are experienced artist for a beginner I recommend PRISMACOLORS these are oil based and oil is not the same as Wax just because you read a good review doesn’t mean you’ll love them Me personally have no issues as I’m an expert and I use prismacolors polychromos and carandache pencils I suggest you start off with a cheap buy then spending 165 you’ll thank me later your welcome if you wanna check out my work follow me @Jmeloart_studio

> 24 hourMy first trial with these pencils was a portrait of my granddaughter. The pencils are incredible for blending and achieving delicate skin tones. The strong colors easily layered as well. They are so smooth! They exceeded my expectations in every way. I LOVE these pencils.

> 24 hourI started creating a swatch chart with my new set of 120 Polychromos pencils and wrote an email to Faber Castell informing them that I had received two Pine Green pencils and no Chrome Oxide Green. I was provided the opportunity to send the pencils to Faber-Castell for replacement and told that Faber-Castell USA does not sell or distribute through Amazon, nor are we affiliated with them. The pencil set was sourced through Topaz Worldwide, which returns a Page Not Found error when I click the link in the Orders record.
