> 3 dayI like this fan, because it is portable and it is battery operated and it worked very well for the very few times that I used it. However, one evening I needed it to keep Cool and I asked my son to go and get it and he said it up and turned it on. I left and forgot that it was on and by the time I got back the next day the battery was dead I have checked the power supply with my VOM and it is putting out the proper voltage. I plug it up to the fan and it will not charge or do anything and I have left it on for two days. There are no power indicators that it is charging other than sometimes the display light will come on the first position, but never provide any charging or power to the fan , I asked Geek Aire to replace it under warranty. Since this is sort of my line of work, I provided them with everything they needed upfront. However, they sent back wanting it put on the form. I took the information that I sent them that was all complete and transcribed it over to the form. It was sent in and I had already provided them all the details of what was wrong they wanted to know again and they wanted pictures. I provided them with everything they asked for an electronics technician. There’s electronic failure with inside the box. The power supply is good. I did not open it up as not to void warranty . Finally, after playing the game of paperwork they finally approved it for replacement. I have been literally waiting several months now for a replacement rather than just send me a new fan which they should do since this one is in pristine condition they’re probably waiting for a refurbished to come back in to send to me After constantly asking them, like most companies do these days they generate a tracking number, which is about as good as a three dollar bill. That doesn’t generate any. Hope it doesn’t make me feel like it’s coming tomorrow. I’m wise to this and so should you if you’re reading this because all of these companies are doing it, eBay, etc. that tracking number hasn’t moved in inch in over a month . It just says that the United States Postal Service is awaiting delivery. It doesn’t calm me down it makes me more upset. I will say that the geek aire team has been good about responding to me and promising me that the warehouse is going to do something soon. They just tell me to be patient and that would be OK if we were talking about a few weeks here but we’re talking at least three months now since the fan went out, I’m tired of waiting ! When the fan works it works beautifully and is very nice so I give them credit. I’m just not happy with how well replacement is. I have to get my replacement fan soon. I trust that they will. It’s just taking too long. Obviously they know that they have new ones in stock that they could send. However, I suppose if they have more fans going out than we are aware of and depleting their selling stock, well, I could see that catastrophe too. Come on geek aire and do something.. Update: they ended up telling me that they cannot replace the fan, but they would provide a refund. When I inquired when that would happen, all communications ceased very disappointing.

> 3 dayI was so thankful to have this fan during Hurricane Ian and we lost power. It kept the air in the room circulating while the storm raged. We had it fully charged and it kept us cool until we were able to get the generator running. Very thankful for this fan.

Greater than one weekThis fan produces a ton of airflow and the battery lasts forever. However, it is quite noisy out of the box (it sounds like maybe the blades are loose or something?) Also, the LEDs for the battery on the back are ridiculously bright. I wanted to use this in the room where our baby sleeps while traveling but the lights are brighter than the night light we normally use by a pretty wide margin. Itd be great if those were more dim or maybe if you could turn them off.

> 3 dayI rec’d this yesterday and immediately read all the instructions since some users were having a few problems. Without turning it on, I plugged it in and it showed 60% battery. Fig. it would take abt. an hr. to FULLY charge the battery since it had more than 1/2 charge. It was fully charged after abt. an hr. (I didn’t time this, it’s purely an estimate.) I have taken pics to show the battery indicator when I rec’d it, when it’s fully charged (no lights are on), and when it’s running. I like that you have the choice of either using it plugged in OR on the battery. I will say that the directions tell you NOT to leave it plugged in to charge the battery longer than 24 hrs.! (I’m thinking mb some ppl left their fans plugged in while not being used and essentially ruined their rechargeable battery!) I’m planning on unplugging my fan if I’m not using electrically and then only charging for a few hrs. until the battery is full. I like its weight and portability. Plan on using it all the time! I think you can tell I’m already a big “fan” of this product.

> 3 dayWe live in an area that is prone to storms and that sometimes results in power outages. When that happens in the middle of the night, we often wake up and cannot go back to sleep because it is so hot and so QUIET! We bought this battery operated fan in hopes of making things a bit more tolerable during power outages. So far, this fan has lived up to its advertised potential. I operated the fan on HIGH for about 3½ hours before the battery was drained. It took roughly 2 hours to recharge the battery after that. As for NOISE: we actually like fan noise when we are trying to sleep, so were hoping for MORE noise. I would say the fan makes less noise than the average kitchen oven vent fan. It is a (to me) very soothing noise, yet not so loud that it requires raising your voice to carry on a conversation. As an added bonus, we can take the fan outside to the patio or porch without the need of an electrical outlet. It is light enough that anyone can move it from place to place, and the air flow can be directed vertically by simply tilting the fan in its frame. The fan moves enough air that it covers a 15x12 room adequately. I would recommend this fan to anyone.
