> 3 dayWe wanted to camp in July/August, but not being able to sleep is a deal breaker for me. This fan really helps remove the annoyance of trying to go to sleep hot and sweaty. We would fall asleep with it on and then turn in off during the night once the temperature dropped. The stated run times are accurate, and the fan is powerful. One thing I noticed (I also bought the same fan for a family member, and they said the same thing): when this fan is 100 percent charged, it seems to cycle up and down in power until it reaches a slightly lower level of charge. This goes away quickly, but is a minor annoyance. Also, we have a 10 by 10 tent, and since the fan doesnt rotate, you have to kind of position it carefully to hit everyone. I tried to charge this directly with a portable solar panel, and it didnt work for some reason. So I just charged it with my portable generator. This to me was the best set up for our long camping trip. Solar charged the generator, plugged in the fan to the generator. Then at night had ample electricity to charge any remaining devices. Very much recommended. Again, if you are like me, if you know you arent going to be able to sleep in the heat, you wont go camping. With this I dont worry.

> 3 dayThese are great fans, at least while they work (which isnt long). After two years my fan wouldnt take a charge. I have contacted the company, I have searched the internet and I cant obtain a replacement battery pack. Unless you have a battery spot welder and have the skills to make a new battery pack (six 18650s), you are out of luck, and an otherwise good fan goes to the landfill.

> 3 dayUpdate: After a month of no contact and no responses to my emails, Geek Aire suddenly sent me an email with only the words, Everything is set. When I asked what that meant, they said they were shipping me a replacement, which they did plus an extra charging cable. So, they ultimately did honor the warranty, albeit with terrible customer communication. Original review: This fan stopped holding a charge after less than a year. I contacted Geek Aire, because the company claims their products have a 1 year warranty. After they asked me to provide a bunch of information (model number, receipt of purchase, photo of the malfunctioning fan, etc.), they completely ghosted me! I left multiple voicemail messages and got no return phone call. I sent multiple emails and got no replies. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. The 1 year warranty is clearly a joke! They should be cited for deceptive advertising.

> 3 dayI initially bought 2 of the 12-inch fans to use while traveling or in case of a power outage during our hot Texas summers. Theyre incredible! Theyre expensive but I think here, you get what you pay for. Theyre very quiet, very durable, and appear to be of high-quality material. They came very well packaged. There is a dial knob to control the level of airflow rather than just 3 settings you adjust. I also love that the panel on the back shows approximately how charged the fan is (in increments of 20), so you can tell when the juice is getting low. Ive tested out the settings to see how long the fan will run on a single charge. The box says up to 20 hours, and while this may be true...it would have to be barely turned on to last that long in my experience. It does hold a charge very well though considering how great the output is on medium to high settings. On full blast, the fan runs for about 5.5 hours. By the way, it puts out a surprising amount of air on high setting. On a medium setting, which still has really great airflow, the fan runs for approximately 8 hours or so. I havent tested on low setting because that doesnt put out much air, though obviously better than nothing if you need some air movement. My old dog has been sitting in front of this fan since I got it. Its come in handy several places where I needed a little air movement but wasnt near a wall plug. Theyd be great to take anyway outdoors. They were such a hit in my house, I bought my brothers family one for Fathers Day. I figured they might want it for those scorching kids baseball games. He texted me saying it came in handy during the last games. In fact, my sister-in-laws family was at the last game and after seeing their fan, they also bought one.

> 3 dayI had time to use this fan. I must say I love it. I have a remote, glass enclosed, gazebo in my back yard. A little bit away from my house. I do have windows that I can open up on three sides to get air. It is a bit hot in the summer but is a great 3 season gazebo. So for the summer I got this fan. I charge it up and it last a good point of the day. Its is great because I do not have electricity going to the gazebo. Once charged, it is wireless. It is a strong unit and it helps keeping my gazebo cool in the summer months. I recommend this if you go camping. I think it would be good if you can get a car charge option. Im not saying it is waterproof. Is good for a sheltered area. It can go anywhere otherwise.

Greater than one weekMy husband bought this cordless fan to use at an art show he attended this past weekend. He is very glad that he did and calls it, The best fan ever and the best purchase he has ever made for his art shows. (See a picture of the fan in his art booth while he was setting up for a show.) Even though we ordered it last minute, the fan arrived very quickly and in great condition. It was well packaged and easy to figure out how to use. He charged the fan as recommended for 4 hours before trying it out. After the first charge, he ran it on a medium-moderate speed for over 12 hours and it was still going strong. Since he was heading out the next morning to an out-of-town show, he stopped the fan and charged it up again as he wanted to make sure it would be fully charged for his show. For the two days of the show, he used it for 10-12+ hours per day on one charge. Because the weather was quite warm and humid, the fan worked well to keep him cool. Both days, it was still going strong at the end of that time. He likes the lights on the back that show the amount of charge left for the fan, and he really likes the multiple speed options. We thought the noise of the fan was fine and was not bothersome. Because the fan is small, it can easily be used in many spaces without being in the way. Many other artists asked where he had bought the fan and indicated that they wanted one too. He plans to use it again at future shows, when he is outside working on large pieces of artwork, etc. He highly recommends this fan and would definitely buy it again.

> 3 dayLiving in a hot climate I thought I knew all about fans...but I had an issue with our business warehouse. Climate controlled, with a swamp-type cooling system, made working in the warehouse almost unbearable. Humid, stale air made it difficult to get work done. I researched all types of fans...and came up with this Geek fan being the BEST option. Now to put it to the test in the Las Vegas Climate! It was quiet, it pushed out air quickly, it was PORTABLE and best of all I didnt have to drag an extension cord around with me. The charge lasts a long time. Ive never had an issue with it wearing down during my work. AND Ive now found a great fan to also use at home, in the backyard, balcony, and tailgate parties. For picnics and camping...its always a go-to item. So far, almost 6 months later Im still in love with my fan...and I have to keep an eye on it...lets my kids try to borrow it Would buy again, but it seems to be a powerhouse that will last a long time.

28-11-2024Overall, a nice fan with very high airflow. CONS: - Battery is a bit lacking. Only lasted ~4.5hrs on a full charge on high. I would expect about double that on medium, but I havent tested it yet. - While the stand isnt huge, I feel like it could have been smaller, or foldable for this price point. - The knobs to set the angle seem a bit weak and likely to crack over time (thin walled ABS, probably no UV stabilizer). And God help you if you accidentally unscrew one all the way! You practically have to take the whole thing apart just to get the knob back on since the screw holding it falls into the fan cage. - Must be charged via a 12V barrel jack, a USB powerpak wont cut it. PROS: - Very high airflow - BLDC is good quality and I expect it to last for a long time - No bearing noise (although there is some blade noise at higher speeds, but not much) - Seems like the IPX4 rating is appropriate, this thing should last awhile when doing drive-and-tent camping TL;DR - Overall, pretty good. High airflow, but low battery life at max speed. Stand is the weakest part of the whole design. Its obvious the costs went into the battery, motor, and electronics rather than the stand. Which is a good thing.

> 3 dayFirst of all i was hoping a more expensive fan would put out more air than a cheaper $10-20 would but after receiving this late and finding out it is no more than what i paid walmart for really disappointed ad claims 10 fan but as you see in picture it is a 9 inch fan with 8.5 in blades same as the walmart 9 fan in picture beside it does not put out no more than this fan if even as much only thing better is the battery power than my inverter and walmart ac i was using. as tested for 2.5 hrs on high it still had 2 lights lit which their claim of 4.5 hrs running is true on fresh batteries we will see in a year or so blades are too flat to put out air needed i drive truck and some docks demand cut truck off so the fan was to provide the air needed in the 100 plus heat inside all metal frame is only thing going but a lot of wasted room a 10 in frame does not make it a 10 in fan the blades is the size of fan so really this is a 8.5 in a 10 frame false advertising comes from California so dont expect 2day delivery if on east coast through prime although it did sit for a day held by amazon 1hr 1/2 from my house
