> 3 dayNormally dont do reviews myself as never sure if some are genuine or not. Only had the fan now for a few days and taken it with me to 2 outdoor restaurants. Heat index recently where we are in the low 100s with extreme humidity and without this fan I would be drenched, so popped it up on a chair opposite me(or on the table itself) and it does the job very well. Love the fact that I dont have to worry about batteries and being so portable but sturdy. Fast charger as well. Mainly brought this when we go on the beach but just going to take it everywhere with me from now on. A good purchase. So far very pleased. Will give it another few months and consider buying another for a place we have elsewhere. I also like the fact that busy restaurants, albeit cooler indoors with their air-conditioning have at present too many concerns with Covid-19 for me to take chances with so being outdoors with less people about gives me peace of mind and now dont come back dripping in sweat. Good job GeekAire. Thank you.

> 3 dayUPDATE: Its been almost 1.5 years, Ive used this a lot and now its dead. I plugged it in last night and nothing. If this wasnt almost $100 I wouldnt be too upset that it only lasted that long. But for that price I would have hoped to have this for much longer. It worked great when it worked but now its a big paper weight. I ordered this to initially use when camping. I use it all the time! Its convenient to take outside when in your yard on a hot day, or to use at night for a breeze and some white noise. The fan isnt really doesnt produce a lot of noise and the charge does last quite a while. If you charge it and run it on high it will last 2 - 3 hours. On a lower speed you are looking at 8 or so hours. The only thing I dont like about it, and it could just be mine, is that when you charge the lights flash on top. At night those lights are bright. Then, when its fully charged, it doesnt stop flashing and just keep the 3 lights on...the last one flashes FOREVER. At first I thought it wasnt fully charging, but it is. It just likes to flash that 3rd light whenever its plugged in. However, with that being said I think this fan is incredible. I recommend it for anyone, like me, that gets hot no matter what time of year. Its a perfect size fan to really stay cool when youre hot.

> 3 dayAnother update: 11 weeks after making a support request, and 6 follow up emails I sent, I was finally replied to and asked for my shipping address to send a replacement. This was about one week ago. We will see if I receive a replacement or not… Back to update that it’s been 2 more mos and no reply from support. I’ve been emailing every week. I was so impressed with this fan when I originally purchased about 9 mos ago. It seemed very high quality and performant. I felt I paid a premium price for a premium product. We used in a fully enclosed and ibsulated sun room for about 3 mos. total. I stored fan inside home in dry warm basement and recently brought back out to use to and it wouldn’t charge or turn on. I’ve been trying to get support for this issue for over 3 mos now and no progress. You will get bounced around between countries and emails and asked for videos and invoices and details on details but NOTHING will be done with all the information provided. I have done hours of my own troubleshooting and research, tried purchasing new charger and come to the conclusions I wasted a lot of money on a product with a faulty battery. This is one of my worst Amazon finds for sure! Save your money and don’t buy this.

> 3 dayI purchased this for sleeping. I live very remote and lose electricity much too often. I need fan noise to sleep! Without it all I do is toss and turn. I honestly wish it made more noise, but that is actually a compliment to the fan. For the amount of air it moves I think it is very quiet! The build quality seems very nice and should easily hold up to getting knocked over or bumped around. Once I received it I charged it fully then turned it on high and started a timer. It seemed to keep the same high setting until the 4 hour mark. Now this was inside, so if it was outside with different conditions, maybe extreme heat, counter winds...perhaps it wont last quite as long. BUT...even when it slowed down at 4 hours, it seemed to run at about 50% for another 90 minutes. So Im guessing, at a 50% - 75% dial setting, it may run for 5 or 6 hours, maybe more. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the battery life. In this day and age, with battery technology, I would really like to see an extra battery or 2, or a different setup, and increase the run time to at least 6 - 8 hours on high, 10 - 12 on medium or low. It would not be hard to do. At $110 or $90 with a coupon, I think it should run longer. Even though I only purchased this for sleeping during power outages, I think this will definitely get use this summer for outdoor events. I would recommend this fan.

> 3 dayI was looking for a fan to use in lawn work to avoid mosquitos. A portable battery fan would have worked well. This fan is all that and much more. I use it indoors during sleep hours. It is silent, has continuously variable speed, and due to its 16 fan size, even at very low speeds it produces a significant breeze (with no noise). I have not timed it yet for battery time, but I was able to use it more than two nights at low setting without charging it. It also charges quickly using the included charger. I wish it was available in more conventional colors (like black, nickel chrome, or dark grey instead of the loud red or yellow), but it still deserves a 5 star rating. The tilt setting could have had detents without requiring hard tightening of the side knobs, but again I would keep my rating.

> 3 dayI have only used it for a couple of days, but the fan charges pretty fast, has a pretty good battery life (2 full nights sleep on medium high), is pretty quiet and blows pretty strongly for its size. The best feature is the mobility. I can take it on the porch or in the garden without a cord. We plan to use it for camping and its nice to have a cord or batter option. The one thing I would change is the lights. There are 3 lights that indicate battery percentage and they remain on even when the fan is blowing. They are pretty bright in a dark room. I would have preferred that they turn on briefly when turning the fan on/off instead of staying on indefinitely. I may need to put some tape over them to get a dark night of sleep.

> 3 dayI initially bought 2 of the 12-inch fans to use while traveling or in case of a power outage during our hot Texas summers. Theyre incredible! Theyre expensive but I think here, you get what you pay for. Theyre very quiet, very durable, and appear to be of high-quality material. They came very well packaged. There is a dial knob to control the level of airflow rather than just 3 settings you adjust. I also love that the panel on the back shows approximately how charged the fan is (in increments of 20), so you can tell when the juice is getting low. Ive tested out the settings to see how long the fan will run on a single charge. The box says up to 20 hours, and while this may be true...it would have to be barely turned on to last that long in my experience. It does hold a charge very well though considering how great the output is on medium to high settings. On full blast, the fan runs for about 5.5 hours. By the way, it puts out a surprising amount of air on high setting. On a medium setting, which still has really great airflow, the fan runs for approximately 8 hours or so. I havent tested on low setting because that doesnt put out much air, though obviously better than nothing if you need some air movement. My old dog has been sitting in front of this fan since I got it. Its come in handy several places where I needed a little air movement but wasnt near a wall plug. Theyd be great to take anyway outdoors. They were such a hit in my house, I bought my brothers family one for Fathers Day. I figured they might want it for those scorching kids baseball games. He texted me saying it came in handy during the last games. In fact, my sister-in-laws family was at the last game and after seeing their fan, they also bought one.

> 3 dayThis battery powered, rechargeable fan is great to have if the power goes out. Bought for all my family to have. If hot and no A/C, this will be a lifesaver. Better yet, get two. I did.

Greater than one weekWe bought this fan to take with us on a road trip. Sleeping with a fan (for noise and breeze) at home every night, we know that not having one in our hotel would have resulted in a significant loss of sleep/rest. This fan although not as loud as the one in our bedroom, produced plenty of sound and breeze to ensure a rest as good as the hotel mattress would allow. So far, we have only used it for a few minutes while only the power of the batteries. When unplugging the unit, no slowing was noticed. The size of this fan is perfect for travel. Were it any smaller it would not have produced the desired breeze. Were it any larger, it would have been too large for reasonable luggage. Overall, we are 5-star pleased. If a problem with the durability of the fan - or any unexpected deficiency - should arise within a short time-span, then I will update the review to reflect that.

> 3 dayLiving in a hot climate I thought I knew all about fans...but I had an issue with our business warehouse. Climate controlled, with a swamp-type cooling system, made working in the warehouse almost unbearable. Humid, stale air made it difficult to get work done. I researched all types of fans...and came up with this Geek fan being the BEST option. Now to put it to the test in the Las Vegas Climate! It was quiet, it pushed out air quickly, it was PORTABLE and best of all I didnt have to drag an extension cord around with me. The charge lasts a long time. Ive never had an issue with it wearing down during my work. AND Ive now found a great fan to also use at home, in the backyard, balcony, and tailgate parties. For picnics and camping...its always a go-to item. So far, almost 6 months later Im still in love with my fan...and I have to keep an eye on it...lets my kids try to borrow it Would buy again, but it seems to be a powerhouse that will last a long time.
