> 3 dayI initially bought 2 of the 12-inch fans to use while traveling or in case of a power outage during our hot Texas summers. Theyre incredible! Theyre expensive but I think here, you get what you pay for. Theyre very quiet, very durable, and appear to be of high-quality material. They came very well packaged. There is a dial knob to control the level of airflow rather than just 3 settings you adjust. I also love that the panel on the back shows approximately how charged the fan is (in increments of 20), so you can tell when the juice is getting low. Ive tested out the settings to see how long the fan will run on a single charge. The box says up to 20 hours, and while this may be true...it would have to be barely turned on to last that long in my experience. It does hold a charge very well though considering how great the output is on medium to high settings. On full blast, the fan runs for about 5.5 hours. By the way, it puts out a surprising amount of air on high setting. On a medium setting, which still has really great airflow, the fan runs for approximately 8 hours or so. I havent tested on low setting because that doesnt put out much air, though obviously better than nothing if you need some air movement. My old dog has been sitting in front of this fan since I got it. Its come in handy several places where I needed a little air movement but wasnt near a wall plug. Theyd be great to take anyway outdoors. They were such a hit in my house, I bought my brothers family one for Fathers Day. I figured they might want it for those scorching kids baseball games. He texted me saying it came in handy during the last games. In fact, my sister-in-laws family was at the last game and after seeing their fan, they also bought one.

> 3 dayThis fan is wonderful for moving from room to room or even packing in the car to have in hotel rooms. It runs very long on a charge and is incredibly quiet.

> 3 dayReceived the fan and plugged it in to be fully charged. Since it came almost completely charged it did not take long before I could use it in the screen house. I love sitting out there but am limited by heat and mosquitoes! The fan not only cooled me down so I could read out there it also gave the little buzzers an obstacles to get to me. Also wanted to have a non electric fan for when the frequent power outages occur and to use in the work area of the barn where there is no door or window. Was able to read for 4 hours!! Still had some power left, but I plugged it back in to charge and went inside for a bit. The last storm that hit, I had the fan by me just in case lost power, but did not need it. Was very glad I had the option! May have to get a bigger one too!

> 3 dayLiving in a hot climate I thought I knew all about fans...but I had an issue with our business warehouse. Climate controlled, with a swamp-type cooling system, made working in the warehouse almost unbearable. Humid, stale air made it difficult to get work done. I researched all types of fans...and came up with this Geek fan being the BEST option. Now to put it to the test in the Las Vegas Climate! It was quiet, it pushed out air quickly, it was PORTABLE and best of all I didnt have to drag an extension cord around with me. The charge lasts a long time. Ive never had an issue with it wearing down during my work. AND Ive now found a great fan to also use at home, in the backyard, balcony, and tailgate parties. For picnics and camping...its always a go-to item. So far, almost 6 months later Im still in love with my fan...and I have to keep an eye on it...lets my kids try to borrow it Would buy again, but it seems to be a powerhouse that will last a long time.

> 3 dayI have tried several battery operated fans for use outdoors. None of them satisfactory satisfied my needs. The fact is, there is no battery operated fan that can push the amount of air that a powerful plug in fan can. However, I did not want to have 100 ft extension cords on my lawn between my garage and the two outdoor kennels for my German Shepherd Dogs. This is because every week when the lawn would be cut, I would have to unplug and put away the power cord so it would not get cut, a tedious and unpleasant chore. Therefore I was looking for and needed was a battery operated outdoor fan that could push enough air to cool the dogs and which had good battery life. After a lot of research and based on reviews, I bought two of these, the 12 inch blade model. Of all the fans I have tried, and I have tried several, these are the best. They are well made and very quiet, although this was not an issue since I only plan to use these outdoors. They are easy to carry from my garage where I charge them to my backyard where the kennels are, a distance of 150 feet.. The two things I really was looking for was battery life and air flow. The kennels are 10 ft by 10 ft with a bed in the middle perhaps 4 feet from the bars. With the battery on high and no wind, the breeze the fans create reaches the dog bed. If there is wind, it does not and the dogs have to curl up right next to the fan. I do not place the fans inside the kennels for safety sake, although that might be okay because the fans have a good grill. How long does the battery run on high---five hours max. I have no idea how long it would run on half power because it simply does not push enough air on anything less than high. Probably the 16 inch blade model would push a lot more, but it was also $55 dollars more than the 12 inch. I reiterate, this is the best of the outdoor fans I have used to date. But battery life of 5 hours is not enough. I need a fan that can run for 6-8 hours. And air flow could be strong but satisfactory I guess. Now, if you plan to use the fan indoors, and I did test it just to see how it was, this fan is terrific. Quiet and it can push a breeze across at 12 ft by 12 ft room.

> 3 dayWe bought this fan to take with us on a road trip. Sleeping with a fan (for noise and breeze) at home every night, we know that not having one in our hotel would have resulted in a significant loss of sleep/rest. This fan although not as loud as the one in our bedroom, produced plenty of sound and breeze to ensure a rest as good as the hotel mattress would allow. So far, we have only used it for a few minutes while only the power of the batteries. When unplugging the unit, no slowing was noticed. The size of this fan is perfect for travel. Were it any smaller it would not have produced the desired breeze. Were it any larger, it would have been too large for reasonable luggage. Overall, we are 5-star pleased. If a problem with the durability of the fan - or any unexpected deficiency - should arise within a short time-span, then I will update the review to reflect that.

> 3 dayI thought this portable fan would have a better breeze of air as it was advertised. I have to put it practically on top of me to feel the air flow. Disappointed.

08-06-2025Weve had one of the 10 fans and one larger for a couple of years. We recently purchased another 10 fan. We use them outside on the patio, inside the large outdoor storage shed and sometimes in the house. The noise level is low and the battery lasts a long time, although indoors we generally plug it in. The larger one was inadvertently left in the storage shed throughout the winter. I was surprised to turn it on this spring and find it still had about three-fourths of the battery left on it. It had been used during the fall so that would be about right. The cold did no harm. Its easy to carry, the fan adjusts to the angle needed and with a low noise level works wherever we put it.
