> 3 dayI got this fan for the same reason anyone buys a fan. It does its job and it does it well. Pros: Decent battery life for the cfm at lower levels great portability easy to use and operate Cons: the caps that are supposed to help make the fan IXP4 water resistent Keep falling off during use Long Recharge time (though there is nothing the company can do about it) The Knobs that hold the fan in one place loosen over time or when you try and adjust it I work the dish tank at a restaurant And when the machine is running, the dish hose spraying, and the all the grills on it gets pretty hot. I got this fan so that i could put it wherever I want it with the batter, so it would be fine if some random bit of water got on it and so i could be cool at least most of the day. Good fan just dont expect miracles

> 3 dayArrived and looked like a quality product. Charged it, and tested it for about a 7 hour period at different speeds. Its really quite powerful. Still had plenty time left on it to keep on going. FOR MY USE: Its so easy to move around, and not need to plug into inverter when electric goes down. Pretty much will use for hurricane down time. Will work it into planned use together with inverter system (running other fans) or for short term appliance run times, etc. Thats using a Jackery 500 (Excellent Product), and an older XPower 1500 inverter . That use of the Geek is in the interim from electric out to generator power after storm. Have three Honda 2000, and they go to work after storm passes. That can be from 7 to 15 hours or more. I mention the Honda Generator, because you can then recharge the Geek too with generator. So, Ill use this fan at least every 3 to 4 months if only to cycle battery and recharge to keep it healthy and ready. For general use, would work well in patio area, or any other warm spots that need air flow when needed. I think it makes for an excellent mobile battery fan. Deserving of 5 stars.

Greater than one weekOverall, a nice fan with very high airflow. CONS: - Battery is a bit lacking. Only lasted ~4.5hrs on a full charge on high. I would expect about double that on medium, but I havent tested it yet. - While the stand isnt huge, I feel like it could have been smaller, or foldable for this price point. - The knobs to set the angle seem a bit weak and likely to crack over time (thin walled ABS, probably no UV stabilizer). And God help you if you accidentally unscrew one all the way! You practically have to take the whole thing apart just to get the knob back on since the screw holding it falls into the fan cage. - Must be charged via a 12V barrel jack, a USB powerpak wont cut it. PROS: - Very high airflow - BLDC is good quality and I expect it to last for a long time - No bearing noise (although there is some blade noise at higher speeds, but not much) - Seems like the IPX4 rating is appropriate, this thing should last awhile when doing drive-and-tent camping TL;DR - Overall, pretty good. High airflow, but low battery life at max speed. Stand is the weakest part of the whole design. Its obvious the costs went into the battery, motor, and electronics rather than the stand. Which is a good thing.

> 3 dayLove this fan, its super easy to use.. basiclly its completely self contained, and ultra portable. runs for hours on a full charge. Build is great, beautifully finished with no sharp corners or edges. Super quiet, Im really impressed. Couple small items, There is a external charger, if I had a choice, I wish it would be part of the unit and instead have a couple legs to push a extention cable onto, I have seen that solution in other items lately that ship without any cable at all. Better shielding of the motor, my QUEST headset tend to drop WiFi connection if the fan is running at full speed, manufacture need to make sure to wrap the Motor with grounded tin-foil to avoid noise affecting the WiFi ;-) but really only a problem with fan at full speed. and when fan is in between WiFi hotspot and laptop or headset

> 3 dayworks great. Very helpful for a fair sized room. The low speed setting is good at hot nights to cool enough to have a good sleep. Last more than 20 hour when set to low speed. But only about 3 hours at max speed. If it can last long will be perfect

> 3 dayWatched a you tube video and this fan had great reviews so I purchased it. My husband loves it and it will be great for our camping trips. It does not get as loud as a normal box fan but it still works great. And love that it can be plugged in or just charge it up and go. Highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayIve owned this unit for 2 years. Ive charged it fully and drained it fully about 20 times. Ive always left the battery at full charge when not in use . Recently I went to charge the unit from being flat after it only been flat for a day and the unit will no longer turn on or charge. Now it is a $90 paperweight. The unit is built out of metal which allowed it to push plenty of air. While it was working the only complaint I had was that moving the position of the fan in relation to the stand would sometimes cause the holding bolts to disconnect. At full power the fan would last about 3 hours. At half power about 8 hours, and it 30% power it would last a full 24 hours as advertised. I figured that once the battery failed to charge I could still use this fan as a plug-in. I was wrong. I think Ill take it apart and see what makes it tick, now it is no longer working.

> 3 dayI have tried several battery operated fans for use outdoors. None of them satisfactory satisfied my needs. The fact is, there is no battery operated fan that can push the amount of air that a powerful plug in fan can. However, I did not want to have 100 ft extension cords on my lawn between my garage and the two outdoor kennels for my German Shepherd Dogs. This is because every week when the lawn would be cut, I would have to unplug and put away the power cord so it would not get cut, a tedious and unpleasant chore. Therefore I was looking for and needed was a battery operated outdoor fan that could push enough air to cool the dogs and which had good battery life. After a lot of research and based on reviews, I bought two of these, the 12 inch blade model. Of all the fans I have tried, and I have tried several, these are the best. They are well made and very quiet, although this was not an issue since I only plan to use these outdoors. They are easy to carry from my garage where I charge them to my backyard where the kennels are, a distance of 150 feet.. The two things I really was looking for was battery life and air flow. The kennels are 10 ft by 10 ft with a bed in the middle perhaps 4 feet from the bars. With the battery on high and no wind, the breeze the fans create reaches the dog bed. If there is wind, it does not and the dogs have to curl up right next to the fan. I do not place the fans inside the kennels for safety sake, although that might be okay because the fans have a good grill. How long does the battery run on high---five hours max. I have no idea how long it would run on half power because it simply does not push enough air on anything less than high. Probably the 16 inch blade model would push a lot more, but it was also $55 dollars more than the 12 inch. I reiterate, this is the best of the outdoor fans I have used to date. But battery life of 5 hours is not enough. I need a fan that can run for 6-8 hours. And air flow could be strong but satisfactory I guess. Now, if you plan to use the fan indoors, and I did test it just to see how it was, this fan is terrific. Quiet and it can push a breeze across at 12 ft by 12 ft room.

Greater than one weekBest fan I have ever bought. Has lasted a long time and will run on low all night after being charged. Life saver on hot nights in van.
