I am often in the wilderness offloading to far to hike out. This device gives me peace of mind, knowing I can get help if needed. Well worth the money.

This is awesome. Keeps you safe and everybody informed... Kept my location in the deep drainages at the Grand Canyon. Great to keep family informed of progress. I use for local hikes and hunting just in the event I need it.

In a real crash last Sunday the InReach Mini identified the exact location. There is no doubt that if this had been off road, that rescuers would have been able to find me. Peace of mind that comes from this is beyond words.

do everything on phone, almost dont need the screen. nice to have off the grid

Perhaps I got a dud, but after 45 minutes in my backyard, which has no ubstructions, the device will not activate. Had to return.

This Device continued to disconnect from my tablet/ cant connect Bluetooth once it had already been setup. Then when connected it wouldnt send messages from my tablet or phone only thru device on previous uploaded messages. It took 3 hours for a message to be uploaded in a clear sky at midnight waiting for my group to arrive. 7am i sent another message it went thru at 12pm. Once i came down from Monache Meadows i received 8 messages my friends had sent me from there Garmins inreach Explorer that i never received i will not trust this particular inreach mini again with my life.
