> 3 dayThis is a very light weight unit and I love the battery life. If you are a trail runner or long distance remote area hiker this is well worth having on you.

> 3 dayCerto, se andiamo a vedere il costo del dispositivo e il costo mensile che bisogna sostenere per tenerlo attivo, non è proprio economico, ma se il tutto lo rapportiamo con la garanzia che cè sempre qualcuno che in situazioni difficili ti supporta e ti può salvare la vita, beh, allora non ha prezzo!

Greater than one weekI have bought MANY Garmin products for 40 years. This unit only works with an $11. Per month subscription. After a few months I was not using the unit. When I cancelled the subscription I was charged an $87. Cancellation fee. You lost my business FOREVER Garmin. I hope it was worth the $87.!

> 3 dayI activated, signed up for the Safety plan, and sent a preset message as a test while out on a motorcycle ride. The recipient received it in under a minute and had a link to my location the was completely accurate. I also like that I can subscribe to a plan only when I need it, then drop the plan in the winter months when I cant ride. I was debating between the InReach and a regular one-way beacon. I read a post from a rescue coordinator who said its a huge benefit if they know the nature of the problem and can communicate back and forth. That was enough to convince me a two-way beacon was the right choice.

> 3 dayI did a lot of research prior to purchasing. My game plan prior to purchasing was to buy a mini 2 and the safety subscription plan. From what I read and understood you get unlimited preset text messages with this plan. So I am thinking I could make 10 or 20 different preset messages that cover the common things I want to communicate and I would be good. Well you actually can only create 3 different stored preset messages. You could send any of them a million times without charge, but you cant create a 4th preset.

> 3 dayBased on my experience Ill separate this review into two parts, the device and Garmins reliability in receiving messages from Iridium.

> 3 dayAfter nine times of Tech-Support and many many updates and down loading of maps, the product still would not show my current location or any maps on my phone.
