Genie GSTB-R STB-BL Replacement Safety Beams, Black, 2 Pack, Black, one size (GSTB-R)

These were a perfect replacement for Genie Model ISD 1000 sensors that went bad. Garage door would not close when sensors were exposed to direct sunlight. These replacement sensors fixed that issue! Comes with exact matching brackets as prior sensors so was very easy swap.

A lot more durable than the factory installed units. A breeze to install and did not even have to adjust anything. Overall very high-quality

These sensors are well-designed in that they hug the rails and provide a clear line-of-sight for the red (source) and green (receiver) lights. I simply drilled new pilot holes and used four screws for each sensor. I also stripped the wire using the 1 mm setting to expose fresh wire to wrap around the posts. Just remember to pull out the power cord to the garage door opener before installing these sensors. ¶ My original sensors were from 1997; after 25 years in New England weather, the plastic circles became weathered (which is why I had to replace these because I got three flashing reds which means Time to change the sensors!) Use the new red where the old red sensor went and the same for the green :-)

Worked perfectly with my 10+yr old Genie opener. Very easy to install (less than 5 mins) and worked immediately.

Misleading description. I thought I was ordering a Genie product, like the listing says. Was very disappointed that the product I received was an Overhead Door product.

Replaced the sensors that came with an approximately 15 YO Genie max pro set up. Kids had destroyed the originals with their constant bicycle/skateboard traffic. Very easy to install and actually nicer than OEM. Very pleased with this product.
