> 24 hourI actually ordered/bought a different drive (Hitachi 2TB HDS723020BLA642) but was sent this drive by mistake. I replaced the drive that came with my HP PC (it came with the Hitachi 2TB HDS723020BLA642 that I actually ordered). I used the Acronis 2016 cloning feature (terrible ordeal). This Ultrastar, as mentioned by another user/reviewer does seems a little slower--the time for booting Win7 from the Welcome screen to my Desktop screen seems at least twice as long as it previously took, so much so that the first couple of times I thought that my computer/Win7 had frozen up. Whats annoying--and I imagine Ill get use to it--is the loudness of the drive while operating. Lots of that typical rapid clicking, but so, so much more noticeable than with any drive Ive used in the past. As Im sitting here typing this, the drive continually makes loud, short, quick read/write operations; for me this is what is most annoying. I did email the seller before opening and installing this drive, wanting to make sure the seller would address any problem I might have with a replacement drive (i.e., the model I actually ordered) and he said go ahead and give it a try, that the seller would stand behind their drive(s). I only installed this drive yesterday but so far it seems to be operating OK, the slowness and noise notwithstanding. It was such a hassle to get this new and newly cloned drive to work that I am not going to mess with it unless it begins to fail. BTW, I opted to replace my old drive because the Acronis backup software repeatedly reported backup failures due to errors on my HDD; I had to run Windwos Check Disk with auto corrections to get the disk error-free again (takes about 4-5 hours). This occurred a few times; I thought Id better get a new drive before things got worse.

> 24 hourRock & Roll! I run three 2TB drives (two identical older models as well). This one is on USB with Mediasonic ProBox, and fast enough for my purposes.

> 24 hourThis is a used drive, that is in near fail state. SMART log indicates that this drive has 5 failed sectors and has been in use for over 12,000 hours. This item is clearly represented as new and nowhere is it noted that it has been used for extensive amount of time previously. Stay away unless you want to risk your drive failing and loosing all your data within months.

> 24 hourHitachi brand is the most reliable hard drive, but this one is really noisy. Just had this one installed and seems to working OK, just hope we can get a few years use out of it.

> 24 hourIt Gets Very Loud after 2 months of use, I had to spend much more money on an M.2 SSD just for the luxury of not having it constantly buzz. If you are on a strict budget i would opt for the WD blue in a 1 TB variant then this.

> 24 hourThe drive performs perfect no issues except that it is LOUD even when i put all the fans in my pc its a decent amount louder but thats not the reason i intend to replace this drive the main reason is it vibrates TON i have my pc on my desk 2+ feet away from my keyboard and i can feel the drive vibrating while i type this if you intend to have your pc on your desk or care a lot about your parts.
