HGST/Hitachi (HUA723020ALA641) Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 64MB 7200RPM 3.5 (Enterprise Grade) SATA III 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Drive arrived promptly from seller and was in well protected packaging. Chose this specific drive as it is a replacement for a failed system drive in a WHS v1 server. The original Windows Home Sever OS requires 512 byte sector drives as opposed to (most new) Advanced Format 4k sector drives. Drive is quiet, runs low temp; so far so good. Recommended.

Very loud and slow. Sounds like popcorn cooking under full load.

So far so good! Its working great. Ran a couple diagnostics and all sectors were clear. Seems like I got a good one because mine didnt have any runtime on it.

Great drive. No Problems. Have these running in my nas4free box.

Pros: Is a hard drive. Seems reliable. Does hold 2tb. Fast enough for an HDD anyways. Cons: Hitachi drives are a bit loud and this is no exception.

Its quick, its quiet (I havent heard it yet) and for the price I could not ask for more!
