09-06-2025After receiving a defective drive the seller bent over backwards to make it right with me and the replacement worked perfectly and synced up easily.

> 3 dayNormaly drives are supposed to last 20,000 hours before they start having problems however this drive only lasted 4,000 before it started slowing way down and making grinding noises when files were transfered on and off of it. Other than that it was a good cheap drive. You get what you pay for

> 3 dayUpgraded from a WD enterprise drive that started to click. Does what youd expect, and usually HGST drive last longer than WD and SG anyway.

> 3 dayThis is a used drive, that is in near fail state. SMART log indicates that this drive has 5 failed sectors and has been in use for over 12,000 hours. This item is clearly represented as new and nowhere is it noted that it has been used for extensive amount of time previously. Stay away unless you want to risk your drive failing and loosing all your data within months.
