> 3 daySomething about this hard drive is causing my PC to auto shutdown. How I know it is this hard drive? I put my old back in the problem disappears. It is not the PS (power supply) have more than enough watts for that hard drive. That being said, the drive performs great, when the auto shutdown issue is not an issue. caches well, fast and a lot of storage space for my swap file.

> 3 day1 of 2 drives failed within 8 months of easy (rarely power or thermal cycle) use. Warranty replacement unclear.

> 3 dayOrdered 4 Hitachi Ultrastar drives from GoHardDrive. The 4th failed when adding to a 2 drive Network Storage System. The other Hitachi drive in the NSS added without problem. Sent a post to GoHardDrive through Amazon about the failure. Received an e-mail the next day from GoHardDrive with a postage paid USPS label requesting the drive be returned. Mailed the drive on day 3 and received a replacement drive on day 10 which worked flawlessly. Very good return and replacement policy except it should be noted: The e-mail sent to GoHardDrive was sent on a Saturday, the return e-mail was received on a Sunday, the drive mailed on Monday and the replacement drive should have been received on the following Saturday, except USPS did not deliver until Monday. Enclosed with the replacement drive was a note to test and format before shipment. GoHardDrive goes above and beyond not only with their pricing, but their outstanding customer service in dealing with problematic drives.

> 3 dayIt Gets Very Loud after 2 months of use, I had to spend much more money on an M.2 SSD just for the luxury of not having it constantly buzz. If you are on a strict budget i would opt for the WD blue in a 1 TB variant then this.

> 3 dayBought 4, they are used and its just luck of the draw how much they were abused. DONT TRUST CRITICAL DATA to these things, its only worth it if your putting them in an array and you want to do it on the cheap. Just noticed that another one of mine had died, didnt lose anything because I have them raided. (Lived 1 1/2 years with minimal use, mostly reads.)
