> 3 dayThis unit will not run monitors off of the USB-C port which annoys me greatly since it only does data but it works quite well otherwise. The problem started a few days after I started using it. When I would move the mouse to do what you do with a mouse the screen would starting jumping and acting like it lost sync and at times the screen would go blank. A chat with HP support that ran over several days ended with them asking me to send the unit in for repair and that is where it sits. I did hear they received it several days ago but nothing so far on the return or repair. No calls about not being able to duplicate my issue, nothing. Im starting to wish I had returned it to Amazon and bought a better model.

> 3 dayI bought this laptop to work from home in 2020 during the pandemic. It worked well - good speed, got the job done. Id had some issues with it being finicky about coming on from time to time. If it was left open, sometimes youd have to close it and reopen it to get the screen to light up. Other times, I had to hold the restart button and reboot it, even though it was just in sleep mode (clicking the mouse or hitting the space bar didnt get it to come on). This was a brand new (NOT refurbished) item.

17-04-2025I bout this laptop in Sept in 2020 to work from home and the Intel wifi adapter failed in December 2020. Now HP is s telling me I can pay $80 bucks to get a 3 year extended warranty on both software band hardware. Why the hell would I want to invest more than the the $700 investment I already made during the pandemic. Idk what to do at this point. I cant sell it, I cant get a refund, and Im not giving these crooks another dime. Dont buy it.

> 3 dayI wish there would have been something saying it was a matte screen. I’ll give the speakers a good rating. Not worth $600

> 3 dayThis laptop is for my personal use. After having it for only 6-7 months, and using it a little each day, i am no longer able to access my wi-fi connections. I keep getting the message that I have a hardware problem with my wifi adapter. A brand new laptop should not be experiencing these type of problems with in just a few months. HP support is trying to say it is a software issue and the warranty for that ended 12/20 but my laptop is still under warranty until September 2021. Very frustrating to deal with HP on this. I was forwarded 4 times and all I could get were people that wanted to sell me different service plans.

Greater than one weekHorribly designed for venting. It’s loud and overheats frequently. Sleep mode is more like Sleeping Beauty mode because it refuses to wake up unless a prince kisses it (aka you reboot). Battery died not long after purchase. It worked great when it decided to but was very unreliable. Disappointed in HP who is usually pretty good.

Greater than one weekI am incredibly happy with this HP laptop. It is certainly proved to be a significant upgrade from my previous HP laptop. I’ve owned four or five laptops made by HP in the past, and this is by far my favorite. It has the battery life and performance to deliver high speed results all day.

> 3 dayFirst and foremost I need to state that I am NOT a computer geek so my review is going to be pretty much for those looking for basic thoughts on this laptop. I use this laptop for working at home on Zoom and FB Live often. What I have found that are an inconvenience to my are most likely minor to most but for me a bit more than inconvenient.
