> 3 dayi bought this laptop for college and it has been amazing. battery life is wonderful and the screen quality is outstanding! i was shocked about the touchscreen because the description didn’t say anything about it but it’s the perfect laptop.

> 3 dayI bought this laptop to get around the green screen drama. I have a high regard for HP products and that they install intel processors. This laptop filled the bill at the price I wanted to spend. I purchased it for less than $500,oo.

> 3 dayGreat computer and for the price point an excellent buy. I’ve owned the same laptop for 9 years and was reluctant to stray away from the “brand” I had but HP makes a great laptop

> 3 dayThe ;laptop mouse pad was irregular. When you tried to scroll it would just pick a page by itself. When I tried to delete emails and other things it would give you a drop down menu. Ive never had a computer of any kind that was this bad. I sent it back the Amazon for a refund on Oct. 28th, they received it on the 30th and its been going on 8 days now and they have not refunded my money!!! Buyer beware of where your purchase is really coming from.

> 3 dayI bought this for my dad to use for simple things. Since the start the WiFi adapter was very finicky. It would drop the signal and refuse to reconnect. Didnt feel I should have to deal with such lame performance for a brand new laptop. So back to Amazon it went. Will look at a Lenovo instead.

> 3 dayIve had laptops last me for years. Never had HP though. Bought this one based on the price, but have had trouble with it ever since. And now just after the warranty expires after only just a year, the battery is dying and there is zero customer service unless you pay extra. The HP driver software isnt compatible with standard Intel drivers, so if you install based on the alerts from Intel it will mess up your display and then youll have to troubleshoot how to fix it.

> 3 dayI ordered a HP 15-1036, what they sent me was a HP 15 -1059MS. Which I guess was an upgrade being that I had more ram and a touchscreen. More ram was great, and I guess the touchscreen was good too but being that I’m clumsy I would tend to touch the screen while using this keyboard which would mess things up, Which is no big deal being that’s not HP’s fault. I had had the computer only for five months when it went belly up and stop working. I had a bios update recently but the computer just stopped working. The Caplock LED kept flashing a code, three long flashes and too short. I called phone support, and honestly they were great but they were not able to resolve my problems. The phone support suspect that my issues might have been Bios related. So I was forced to send it in for warranty work. Now I have to wait 2 to 3 months for turnaround time, which is frustrating because I recently had a stroke and I depended on the computer for paying bills and ordering meds. I also depending on that machine for music and entertainment being that I was forced to retire. Anyways it’s frustrating to be without my computer. I must say however that the screen and the picture on the screen was superior to anything I’ve ever owned. I really enjoyed the computer but I’m not happy that it went belly up after only five months I don’t know if it was Microsoft for faulty bios, or equipment failure on HP end. I expected much more out of HP honestly and I’m very frustrated.
