> 3 dayListed and advertised as new, but was marred and the ink cartridge area was splashed with ink. Clearly not as promoted. Received an e-mail from seller for a $ 30.00 refund as she realized it was NOT new. Seller agreed to accept return, refund the cost plus pay for shipping. It was shipped April 14, and I have not yet received refund. This certainly soured my experience with shopping online! Sincerely, Caroline M.Klebenow

> 3 dayAt first we loved this printer. It printed super fast and I love the copy feature. But shortly after we bought it, it started feeding more than one sheet, causing the paper to jam. Now it wont even feed a single sheet of paper. It is utterly useless, a surprise since it is the first HP weve had trouble with.

> 3 dayI was really surprised to find that I could get an all-in-one printer for such a low price. Thats because the people at HP are making up for the price in ink cartridges. I noticed another user mention that if you are printing more than 1000 pages a month it wont work - dream on! I print probably less than 50 pages per ink cartridge. I have paid for this printer 3 times over in ink. While the quality of the printer itself is good for the price, I am going to get a different printer that is more economical with ink - this thing guzzles ink worse than an SUV guzzles gas!

> 3 dayAt first the unit was temperamental and would not work well the ink cartridges. After a couple of days and some cleaning, it starting working well and printing well. I had purchased this used because, I still had several refurbished cartridges to use and go thru a lot of them printing. This is my 3rd PSC 1510 printer. The newer printers and cartridges would be a lot more expensive to use. I have not bought a new cartridge in years. If you buy in large quantities you can get refurbished ink for about $7 each, about 1/4 of the new cartridge cost and they work the same. Not all refurbish manufacturers are the same; some are much better than others. I do know that this unit will hit end of life soon and the cartridges will eventually not be available. But for 10 years or more,it has been very economical and works great.

Greater than one weekDont buy this machine. My husband and I have been loyal HP printer customer for years. Only reason I bought a new one was because my new computer only accepts USB and my old HP printer was a parrallel port (thats how long my old HP has been working perfectly, and still is; gave to a friend). I purchased the HP PSC 1510 for my home office thinking adding copy and scanning capabilites would be nice conveniences. Im on my second one and its now doing the same thing: doesnt feed paper(regardless of what kind you use to try and please it) no customer service at Help button-links to sales web site no customer service assistance on phone Ink cartridges VERY small....replace constantly and they are expensive Does HP make a decent model under $200 anymore? Im returning this one too. Takes up my whole day fiddling with it. Dont need a fax. Just color printer, occasional copies, and scanner. Shame on HP. [email protected]

> 3 dayThe 1510 has some serious flaws in it. The most serious flaw that I have found is the lack of ink in the cartridges. There is only 5 ml of ink in each cartridge. That is only 1 teaspoon of ink. This means that you will be replacing the cartridges often. And at about $35 for both cartridges, you will quickly spend more on ink than you spent on the printer. By comparison, the cartridges in the HP 1350 hold about 19 ml of ink. Nearly 4 times the amount of ink and the pair of cartridges cost about $40. Save yourself some money and check how much the ink cartridges hold before you buy.

> 3 dayThis printer eats ink like crazy! I occassionally print pages off the web, and Im changing the cartridges more than once a month. I would guess Im getting 50-70 pages per cartridge. Its very disappointing. I cant afford to print anything! Im going to try something I never thought I would - refilled ink cartridges! Otherwise, I would be satisfied with the printer. It scans well, prints well. Ive had no trouble with compatibility (Win XP) as others here report. Ill count my blessings on that! But next time, Ill buy another brand.

> 3 dayA good friend of mine told me that he swore by HP printers, so I bought this printer to use for my daily document and photo printing. The biggest problem I have had with this printer is that it rarely prints. My printer always thinks it has no paper in it, and it usually takes about half an hour to print a short Word document. Printing photos is a joke on this printer. I take several photography classes, and this printer prints low-quality images. Also, my black and white images often have chunks of random color on them after I print them out. I will be returning this product, and if I cant, I will be selling it on eBay and hoping to get a few bucks off of it. This was a complete waste of money.

> 3 dayI bought this printer less than 2 years ago, the ink is affordable, the copies and pics come out nice, the major downfall, is the printer just broke and its only 1 1/2 years old....something happened internally with the print cartridge cradle (no error on my part) and now its broken. I wish i read these reviews b4 buying this.

Greater than one weekI wish I could say I like this printer, but actually I dread having to print anything because its always such a hassle. I hate this printer and cant wait to get a different one. Pros: --cant think of any Cons: --tries to print a test page every time I turn it on, burning ink or forcing manual intervention --I need to print something about once a month, yet I still have to buy ink cartriges every 6 months. Basically costs me 2 dollars in ink for every page I want to print. --print quality is not very good; not impressed; certainly wouldnt try to print photos --software interface for scanning is garbage. make a simple process confusing. If you see one of these printers in the wild, the correct response is to shoot it.
