> 24 hourIm so glad I bought this. The heating/cooling unit in my older condo doesnt have a built-in humidifier. So in cold/dry Minnesota winters, I need to manually add humidity. I prefer running a simple Vicks brand steam vaporizer. But several times I have accidently left the vaporizer on too long and my windows would fog up and drip condensation. This unit is great for automatically controlling the vaporizers operation. I simply set a desired humidity level and a variance factor. In my case a setting of 40% humidity with a variance of 3%. So when humidity drops below 37%, it turns on the vaporizer and keeps it on until humidity reaches the set goal. Ive had it running for a couple of months now with no problems. This unit has actually two outlets. One for controlling a humidifier and the second for controlling a dehumidifier. So Im actually only using half of its functionality.

> 24 hourIworked well for about 3 months in an 80% humidity enviroment. It then began giving eratic measurements or sticking on a false temp untill i jiggled probe wire. Which was not ideal when counting on humidity kicking back on when away. It barely worked when i stored it away 5 months. I just gotit back out to use it and it gave me the error screen after 1 day. Kind of dissapointed. I was thinking if i treated it well it would do job for long time with maybe needing to replace sensor once a year. I guess the relay stopss working after repeated on offs. I hope im still under warranty period but im unsure of length .

> 24 hourThe instruction manual is very hard to understand, obviously written by people for whom English is a second language. But, once you get past that, it works beautifully and seems very accurate. The display is very easy to read.

> 24 hourKeeps the tent right where I need it. I have two of them, and they just work.

> 24 hourIf you are dealing with a situation with high humidity, this unit will without fail alarm and turn off your dehumidifier / fan, making it mostly useless. You cannot set the unit to not alarm, so you will have to listen to it blearing, knowing that you now have to manually have to get power to your dehumidifier / fan. You can set the calibration down by a max of -10%, and then set your dehumidify set point down a corresponding -10%, but amazingly it will STILL alarm at high humidity and shut off your dehumidifier / fan. Amazingly disappointing.

> 24 hourThis product works well overall. The audible alarm quit working after the first couple of weeks, but it wasnt a big deal... I didnt but it for its alarm function. I was also concerned that the instructions say that the contacts may fuse/melt at the end of its life but they dont give any information as to how many on/off cycles the unit is designed to do before the end of its life. Otherwise, Im very happy with it. The instructions were a little hard to understand but we got them figured out.

> 24 hourUpdate: a couple days later and now it just beeps and says err and wont take any readings Out of box my unit is reading 75-85 humidity in my house. Tried a table salt calibration test and it was reading 86-90 (should be 75). Seems like it is atleast 15-20 percent off and fluctuates pretty wildy. Calibration only compensates up to 10 percent +/-. Looks like the actual sensor has a plug connector so it should be easy to be replace but I havnt been able to pry open the plastic casing that protects it. Contacted the amazon product support and they didnt understand the issue but offered to help me return it.

> 24 hourThis is inexpensive, works well, and is easy to setup. Im humidifying a guitar room with a new humidifier that doesnt have a humidity sensor, so I had been relying on my old humidistat on the shelf to help me manage the humidity level manually. That was aggravating work. But with this new controller, not only is life easier, but it has taught me that my old humidistat was highly inaccurate. Today, I need far less water than before and the humidity range isnt so wildly up and down.

> 24 hourAdded this for my grow tent, easy to use and really helped control my humidity by automatically toggling my humidifier and dehumidifier. As someone mentioned make sure your units have a toggle switch not push button power or they device will not turn on when power is switched onto it. For the price its hard to beat, it was 3% off from my goove humidity monitor but you can adjust the calibration on the controller so it matches exactly what my other monitor says. Not sure which is correct but 3% isnt a deal breaker, the important this is you can adjust the controller to match any other humidity monitors you might already own.

> 24 hourBought this to keep my plant cabinet a stable humidity. However, and this may be common sense to some but not to me lol, make sure your humidifier/dehumidifier does not need to be manually turned on (like a button pushed) because it’ll turn off but it won’t turn back on when it needs to. Knob humidifiers should work with it a-ok
