> 3 dayHygrometer might be off would have given it 5 stars otherwise but when I compared it to 4 other hygrometers it was off by at least 5% minimum in some cases higher while 3 of my hygrometers were within 3% tolerance of each other constantly sooo idk however you can calibrate it so all good

> 3 dayI needed a way to control the humidity in my 3 x 3 grow tent. I bought this on March 14, and it works great for both humidification/dehumidification so far. You need to make sure that whatever devices you plug into it have on/off switches and not buttons: the unit powers whichever designated outlet is required to obtain the humidity set point. Only a device with a switch in the “on” position will turn back on when the outlet is energized. I was able to understand the directions, and I feel the humidity readings are pretty accurate. I order a lot on Amazon, and I’m very pleased with this purchase. If it holds up to the test of time, then it will definitely earn the 5 stars.

> 3 dayNo real complaints, some of the abbreviations in the LED display could be clearer, I have to look up till I memorize but otherwise does the job. I have to say the sensor is very responsive, as soon as I open the door to the terrarium it immediately sense is a change in humidity and activates the humidifier connected to it

Greater than one weekAdded this for my grow tent, easy to use and really helped control my humidity by automatically toggling my humidifier and dehumidifier. As someone mentioned make sure your units have a toggle switch not push button power or they device will not turn on when power is switched onto it. For the price its hard to beat, it was 3% off from my goove humidity monitor but you can adjust the calibration on the controller so it matches exactly what my other monitor says. Not sure which is correct but 3% isnt a deal breaker, the important this is you can adjust the controller to match any other humidity monitors you might already own.

> 3 dayAwesome and helpful product. I have a humidifier and dehumidifier plugged into it and they both turn on/off when my humidity gets either too high or low based on the controller settings. Easy to use and several good how to videos on youtube. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI have never been one to rely on machinery to get the job done, but my oh my, this piece of device is revolutionary. Although it ONLY CONTROLS HUMIDITY, it has been a life saver for setting up microenvironments. Mine did not come super calibrated, but you can adjust the calibration by 10% in either direction and it seems to be pretty spot on. I definitely will be considering getting more InkBird products after noting how useful this equipment is.

> 3 dayNot the most obvious way to make settings, but once you get it, it makes sense. Works as advertised so far (I have 2 of these on different humidors and both work fine). Readings match separate humidity sensors closely.

> 3 dayI paired this device with the Inkbird humidifier to provide humidity for a reptile enclosure. I found it relatively easy to program... honestly, I just fiddled with it until I figured it out because the instructions didnt make much sense to me, but it wasnt hard to figure out. It worked very well for the first 8 months. Then it just randomly stopped turning off the humidifier when the enclosure had reached the programmed humidity. Unplugging the hygrostat and plugging it back in worked for a while, but it slowly started failing more and more, until it literally did nothing besides measuring the RH in the enclosure (which it did accurately unto the end) and running the humidifier constantly. I am still using the Inkbird humidifier. Still works great (using filtered/distilled water) with a monthly cleaning almost a year and a half after setting it up. This hygrostat, however, was a disappointment. Spend a little more to get something better, imo.

08-06-2025I use it to maintain humidity levels at 95% in a mushroom fruiting tent. Its a game changer. Previously I had used a number of humidity meters made by other companies. All of them malfunctioned at high humidity levels. The inkbird maintained 95% levels well. I realized that that could be done without condensation in the tent.

> 3 dayThis is good for regulating humidity in reptile and amphibian enclosures. I have had to replace mine, but thats because a 5 foot boa liked climbing on the sensor and pulled the wire. You do need the manual to translate the display while setting it up, but once its set, youre set. I did not rate accuracy because I have not tested it against more precise equipment, nor temperature control because this does not regulate the temperature.
