Greater than one weekI use this during the winter months to keep the bedroom at a steady humidity to not be overly dry or humid. I have not used the “dehumidify” plug but that’s a good option to have. I had an issue with the unit and the company support was extremely helpful and responsive. I bought more of these for each room humidifier. The accuracy matches other smart sensors and turn on when needed. I like that a range can be set so the unit doesn’t constantly cycle.

> 3 dayWe bought this to control the humidity in a room where we store our guitars. The ability to set a custom range allows us to adequately control the humidity without constantly cycling the humidifier for short durations. I really like the remote sensor - so the control unit can be out of view while the sensor is up near the instruments. I dont want to monitor humidity down on the floor where the switch is, or across the room where the humidifier sits. I only care what it is by the instruments. I never write reviews, but am really happy with this cost-effective unit.

> 3 dayOur initial goal in purchasing this unit was to maintain our terrariums high humidity levels, and to run a mister/fogger/water circulator when humidity dropped below 80%. Instead, this unit has spent most of the year unplugged and useless. This is due to the units inability to handle high humidity environments. If the terrarium reaches 100% relative humidity, the unit sounds an alarm. Note, this will tend to occur naturally in any high humidity terrarium when the air cools in the evening. Cooling will reduce the dew point until relative humidity hits 100% and condensation forms on the interior glass. If you have ever seen condensation on your terrarium glass, then you too, have experienced 100% humidity in part of your enclosure. Per the support response, there is no way to disable the alarm. The unit allows you to set a range up to 99% humidity, but if it crosses that threshold, *blang-blang-blang* The alarm sounds. (And personally, I dislike being awoken at 3am in the morning by a needless alarm.) When asked for the reasoning, it was explained that the unit does not handle 100% humidity because the probe is not waterproof nor designed for immersion. This answer clearly shows that the manufacturer has zero understanding of the basic principles of humidity, dew point, condensation vs immersion, nor fundamentals of natural science. We are left with two options... 1) Keep our humidity lower, putting all of our living creatures in our habitat at risk of it getting to dry. 2) Discontinue use and purchase another brand and model. (Obviously, we are going to go with the latter option.) This unit is fine for any dryer terrariums. However, if you have have a high humidity or tropical rainforest type terrarium, I highly recommend that you DO NOT buy this unit.

> 3 dayEasy to use after the You Tube video on it. Don’t know what I’d do without it. Works perfect

> 3 dayThe sensor’s micro plug interface is not protected from moisture or high humidity 75%+ The connection will oxidize eventually “5 months” and this will cause malfunction. It is to small even for most experienced electronics experts to solder directly and I can’t find replacements. The controller module portion is great and seems well made easy to program after you figure out what the poor translation is saying.

> 3 dayI use this in my greenhouse. The placement is going to be moved for the second one I buy. The first one locked up the sprayer valve when it got wet.

> 3 dayI was battling high humidity in my flower tent so I got this little gem. Super simple to operate, and it has controlled the humidity within 10% of the set point. If the plants are happy I’m happy, and the plants are happy.

> 3 dayThis device has worked very well in keeping the relative humidity level constant in a room where I keep my guitars (acoustic and electric). There is a good YouTube video that made the setup process easy (enter IHC-200 in the YouTube search). Im using this controller with the AquaOasis 2.2L humidifier. With this device, I am keeping my relative humidity at 50% +/- 3%. In seasons where the natural humidity level is already high, I dont have to fill the humidifier tank for days. It has my enthusiastic recommendation.

> 3 dayAs stated is decent, need to calibrate initially, do not rely on it being remotely close. And check calibration every couple months as it does drift out of calibration.
