> 3 dayThis is a must have if you’re installing any outlets in your house. Very clear indicator lights with the key right there - this thing identified for me that several power lines in my home were installed reversed (black was white and white was black) - I’d have never known without testing. Also great to confirm a good ground and proper power coming through. Only tiny downside is can’t use it on two prong outlets, though I have a little 3 to 2 prong adapter that I only use for this tester that let’s me check those just fine as well.

> 3 dayI got this tester so I can use it with my ham radio set up to make sure the house voltage is consistent. It works great and did detect fluctuations from the circuit I use for my radio. I suspected as much, that is why I wanted to have it. I had fluctuations from 120 to 115, That is very not good for a Ham. I had to make a few changs to my breaker box and decided to make a dedicated home run just for my radio, But I added a single outlet to the wall specifically for this tester.

> 3 dayI bought this along with a 30A adapter to check power at RV sites before plugging in. I also used it to check outlets in my house that have been put in after the house was built. To my surprise it found a couple of incorrectly installed outlets and they were immediately remedied. Very happy I bought this and even though there are less expensive options, the digital voltage readout is worth the extra money.

> 3 dayMy trusty outlet tester died after two decades of faithful service. I really like this one. The digital readout is a plus and everything is very easy to see. The probe is a bonus. Not only will it check an outlet, you can hold it over a Romex line and get a read. I hope this one lasts a long time.

> 3 dayI bought this product for 2 main reasons- 1.- It will diagnose any receptacle wiring problem and give you a visual indication of what the problem is. And 2.- It will also test GFCI receptacles to ensure they are working properly. It also gives you an accurate voltage reading at the receptacle. I use this in my motorhome to check the receptacles and for checking the 120 volt service before hooking up to the electrical pedestal at the campsite. A convenient and handy device.

> 3 dayCan only be used with 120 volt outlets. Even though it will read 250 volts. Will not work with a 240 volt outlet. The blade direction only goes into a 15/20 amp 120 volt outlet. Easy to use.

> 3 dayEl equipo permite con seguridad hacer trabajos eléctricos que permiten identificar la fase y el neutro en una instalación eléctrica. El equipo identifica cada línea auditiva y visualmente que también permite verificar la correcta conexión de los toma corrientes. Lo recomiendo.

> 3 daySince Ive not gotten any compensation for my feedback, which sometimes offered as free samples or discounts, Im free to give this product the highest score of five stars. Here is why: - It is simple, small, well done, and still working. - It simplifies and improves the process of testing receptacles. - The voltage reading is quite accurate. - I believe its overpriced, however, other sellers ask even more for similar products. For many years, Ive used a primitive 3-lights socket tester; in majority of cases, I would need to take additional measurements with a multimeter or test wires with fluke. Im glad to have this one combined little tester, which does the job.
