I thought it would be good for checking my work, and behold a wrong wire hook-up to my RV ground fault outlet. Recommend.

This is a great outlet tester. Worth the price, is accurate and has a voltage display. Helped me solve an issue with easy.

Functions fine as a simple outlet tester. However the voltage readout measured about 15 volts lower than my fluke 117. Purchased two of them. Both read voltage 10+ volts lower than they are. Tested them against two seperate fluke meters. Again they do function fine as a standard circuit tester but wouldnt trust the numbers on the screen.

I used this to check out a outlet I installed. I then knew I needed a electrician.

Well priced piece of kit. Laser difficult to see outside in sunshine. Excellent for indoor use. Works well. Good value for money

Be sure to keep the instructions handy until you’re fluent with this gadget, but once you figure it out it’s fantastic. Great value

I bought this tester to have a way to test my outlets. I sometimes do wiring in my home and I needed something to check behind my work. I was having a problem with a few outlets and according to this tester I did not have a neutral in my outlets. With that information I was able to troubleshoot/trace my work and I found the missing neutral and corrected the problem. So I can say, the small amount of money I spent on this device was well worth it. It did what it was designed to do. I also like the fact that it displays the voltage when I plug it in. Nice product.

After about 5 uses the ground pin is so loose that you cant plug it in anymore and one of the blades has a lot of left to right movement. I leave it on my desk in its original box for storage and its used occasionally to test temporary outlets. I was impressed with the overall design but the quality is lacking.
