For those parents who have children with small bladders, this bad boy is EVERYTHING! We love it. Very easy to set up. You just take it out the pouch. Put the bag and a pad in the middle. Then just pop it out on both sides, and let your little one go to town. When they finish, take the bag and toss it. And throw the pot in the pouch. Easy, breezy!

We like this potty for travel because it is compact and fits any toilet. We also have the Oxo travel potty, which is our top pick. We use the potters plus silicon liner, which fits both travel potties perfectly. The reason this is a runner up is because it is slightly lower to the ground and the locking mechanisms are a little more difficult to use. If you are going to use it as a travel potty, it is a little time consuming to try to pop the legs in and out and push into place. The oxo is a slight bit smoother. If you are using it mostly on the potty at home and don’t have to fold it often, then it is great.

There are so many travel potty seats out there, but I love the fact that this can be used as a stand alone potty. When first potty training this was crucial as some outings just didnt have bathrooms nearby and it was critical to be successful and always have a potty available. Were well established with potty training now, but weve moved states since then and with traveling back home for the holidays this past Thanksgiving/Christmas with 8-9 hour car trips, it made our stops so much quicker and easier when we needed to make a quick potty stop without needing to eat, etc. We just set up the potty with the liner in the van, then buckled back in and we were off again without all the unnecessary time since little ones need to go so much more often. The seat is much bigger for this reason, making it not as convenient to store in the diaper bag and not at all discrete as youre toting your toddler to the bathroom with it under your arm at a store or restaurant. You really dont realize how non-standard toilet seats/shapes are until you go through this stage. When using on a standard toilet it isnt aways a perfect fit, but Ive never had an unstable fit where I was concerned about it not being safe or anything.

I dont think they had this when my older kids were toddlers, so when I saw it while shopping for my youngest, I was excited. I love the flexibility of being able to use it on public toilet seats or as a stand-alone for those emergencies in the car when theres not a public toilet close enough. Despite my worries, Ive never had to use it as a stand-alone, but its much sturdier than the folder seat that I used with my older kids. And it doesnt slide around either. The only drawback is the size. It pretty much takes up the majority of space in my diaper bag, so sometimes I dont want to bring it around just for that reason. But that is the trade-off for getting a great, sturdy product. Update: Because a lot of public toilets are oval-shaped, this potty seat will sit further away from the front. That means children have their legs extended out in front of them on the rest of the toilet seat. For boys, that makes it uncomfortable to bend forward, so they are more likely pee against the front of the potty seat or possibly even up if you are not paying attention. For my three-year old, he has to remove one leg out of his pants, so that he can spread his legs far enough apart (hanging over the sides of the toilet instead of in front of him) to aim down. Its pretty inconvenient, especially if he has to go bad (and you know how little warning toddlers give you), so he doesnt want to use this seat anymore. For this reason, I will drop my rating by one start, but it would be no problem for little girls.

My little one is over 3.5 years old and finally went full on potty training about a month ago. She had an incident at daycare where they were concerned about a possible UTI, so I took her to urgent care. They needed to collect a urine sample and after 10+ Unsuccessful trips to the bathroom and so much frustration between us, I remembered I had this foldable toilet in my car. Once I sat her on this with the “hat” for urine collection, she peed without hesitation (I think this was more comfortable for her tiny butt than the grown up potties). I also have the bags that can be bought separately, and used one of those because she also had to poop. I’m so glad we had this potty on hand!

The product is high quality, stable, it is important to hear a click when you open the legs. We tried it at trip with a 3-year-old girl and it worked great. The girl was satisfied and so were we, because until now she had a hard time sitting down on nature walks. Now we will buy nylons with a pad.

I like that this thing folds compactly away for easy storage on top of our bathroom shelf, unlike the other types of kiddy potty seats that are out there. This one doesnt have those clips that secure it on the seat, but it fits nicely and doesnt scootch around. The other clip on seats leave many adults scrambling to undo the blasted thing before natures call can be answered - or leaves them to precariously perch on the toddler sized seat and hole, hoping their adult sized everything makes it in the bowl correctly. This one you just fold out, set on the seat, then when your little tike singes Tinkle tinkle Im a star five million times but doesnt do his toddler dooty, you easily fold back up to store away. It also fits in your diaper bag quite easily, or if youre a mom like me, your purse that looks like a diaper bag. Just toss it in a gallon sized ziplock bag with a few antibacterial wipes and youre good. Its hard to click into place for the stand up style potty, but thats good because it means it is STURDY when you finally get those legs shoved into place. No one needs to terrify their toddler with a collapsing toilet - talk about trauma and many more years of diapers after that one. All in all awesome. Will be ordering another for the upstairs bathroom because Im lazy like that.

This portable potty is exactly what I needed to help potty train our twin granddaughters! They both love the colors & theyve both said, thank you Nana for our new potty at your house. Mom has already asked us to take on vacay for the girls to use! It has helped them not be afraid to sit on Nanas toilets! They arent afraid of falling in anymore!!

I really hate that I didn’t buy this months ago. This is perfect for a quick walk or nice nature hikes and my daughter, who absolutely hates the potty training experience for some reason has no issues using this. This fits really nicely in your typical backpack or stroller. You can use plastic take-out bags just fine but the Kalencom liners are thin, yet secure so I bought a giant box of those liners, no regrets. Plus, you can secure 3 liners on the potty beforehand to save some time when your little one has to go. Okay so maybe my one issue is having to adjust the potty from flat, to usable, to flat again, which can require some jiggling but it’s not that bad.
