> 24 hourI am giving it 3 stars because my toddler got excited when he saw it. We tried it right away. It has no splash guard so you have to be careful as no matter if you use it on the floor or on the toilet, pee flies out. As other buyers said, it is quite flimsy, so flimsy that it makes me a little nervous to have my 32 pounds toddler sit on it while on the big potty. Not sure if I got a bad one but it is extremely hard to lock it into position, either if you want to have it in a potty position or as an insert for the big potty. Overall I still have to see how it goes. We also tried it with a shopping bag, I thought that would have annoyed my toddler out but he was strangely fine with it. Will update in a few weeks if needed. Update: my son and myself both hate this potty. We used it on vacation mostly to sit on top of regular toilets, this potty is terrible for boys, even if he holds it down it sprays everywhere as it bounces off the border of the potty. Both sides are the same, no real splash guard. It is very flimsy and every time I put it on top of the toilet I am afraid it would give in, so I hold my son. Not happy with this potty at all. Switching it from floor potty to seat is extremely difficult especially since you need to lock it in when you use it on the floor. To lock it in I have to push it so hard that I get marks on my hands, to unlock it I have to pull so hard then the whole leg comes off each time ... Then to put it back is another struggle, if I push too hard goes into lick position, if you dont push enough doesnt even go in ... Maybe i got a bad one? I dont know, all I know is that I hate it and so does my son. Update of the update: we keep this in the car. Have to say it has saved us in odd situations when LO had to go. We just pulled up, set us his potty and let him go ... I am still worried when I put this potty on top of the regular toilet as it doesnt stick properly, its pretty wobbly and unstable. It has no handles for LO to hold himself and as previously mentioned, the splash guard is non existant. I still do not like this potty but with time it got easier to fold it and open it into position. Convenient for the car and on vacation, I guess.

> 24 hourMy twins were out of diapers by 21 months old, and my youngest twin is on the petite side so having a portable seat was essential for our family. Twins are almost 3, and we were so pleasantly surprised with it we purchased 2. We recently went on a trip in the middle of potty training, so having 1 each in their own backpack was helpful because when they need to go, you have to act fast. And basically my husband and I would divide and conquer. About the product: we have used several types of bags (diaper bags, kids backpacks) and these are so portable, we have never had an issue of not being able to fit. These are very easy to clean. What I love best is the foldable wings. It’s versatile. Fits over any size toilet and if we are somewhere with no immediate bathroom access, just stand the wings down and use as a portable toilet. For the times where I needed to use it as a portable toilet on the floor, I did not utilize the bags or liners. My twin girls just peed, and these times were in parks or wooded areas. The product only came with a few liners and I want to save them for poop needs. But I have read, you can use any plastic bag to substitute. Since I have not used any bag, I can not comment on the how well the seat works with a bag. Now that my twins are almost 3 and can use a toilet without any riser at home and school, we still continue to this product in public settings because it’s more safe and sanitary. I don’t have to put them on the public toilet (with liners), and no need to worry about my smaller twin falling through the toilet.

> 24 hourThis has been a game changer! No more trying to hunt down a bathroom before my daughter has an accident! We find somewhere to pull over, usually a back corner of a parking lot, empty church parking lot, or just somewhere there’s no one around. One tip - instead of buying replacement bags and liners just use grocery bags and ball up some toilet paper in the bottom of the bag to soak up the pee. Tie the bag up and throw it out at your next stop! Works the same, grocery bags fit the sit perfectly, and doesn’t cost anything! (Just make sure it’s not a bag with a hole!) I also keep a tub of Clorox wipes to clean it and hand sanitizer in the back. The seat folds up and slides perfectly under the back seat!

> 24 hourOh my goodness this thing is genius. My 3 year old just potty trained and I wasn’t sure how we were going to do public toilets until a friend told me about this. It comes with a travel bag and folds up small enough to fit inside my diaper backpack. I unfold the legs and he uses it when we are on a public toilet. I love that the legs provide a handle for him to hold so he’s not touching a nasty toilet. I haven’t used it as a stand alone potty yet but the concept of being able to put a bag in it and then dispose of it is genius. It comes with three bags with padding on the bottoms but I would think you could double up on shopping bags after those run out ? I am recommending this to all my mom friends.

> 24 hourI think this is really a smart design and practical. I started off buying to potty train my two year old. She really liked it when it arrived on our door step so we started the process right after recieving it. I would turn on a potty time show for her around the time she was due to pee. Well it would take her awhile to go so her little tushy would hurt from it. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because with potty training and taking time to learn on it its a little rigid for the bum. I then ordered the silicon collapsible and reusable sinert for it and it took the edge off. If yiu are trying to buy this with potty training purposes to start with I suggest ordering the insert with it and starting with both pieces and using the disposable liners that come with it when you go out of the house.

> 24 hourLoved this! At first I was very skeptical because I thought there was no way my daughter could sit on it in the potty chair mode without having to hover or her touching the bag, but she was easily able to it on it like a regular potty chair with no hovering and no touching the bottom of the bag. It’s a great travel seat! We bought this to keep in our van specifically for the times she has to go and there’s no where to go. We’ve had it for one week and it has came in handy three times! At the park with no actual bathroom? Use the Potette! At a out door event and don’t want your child to use a nasty port-a-potty? Use the potette! It’s small enough to fit between our front seat and captains chair in our Toyota Sienna, so it is very discreet. Seriously wish we had purchased sooner!

> 24 hourToo short for a tall toddler for regular use, but small enough for easy packing. I got this for a camping trip, since my almost-4 toddler sometimes needs to go asap overnight and I didnt want to wake up baby sister to take them both to the camp restroom. And figured itd be a great solution for the emergency need-to-go-now moments at playgrounds and traveling. I bought the liners, which fit nicely, and can tell itd do the job. Great folding, feels secure, easy to set up and clean. But my very tall toddler sat on it once in the tent, (had her knees up by her ears and I was afraid pee was about to spray everywhere except the lining), and she decided shed rather go to the camp restroom instead... So it hasnt been used yet. Its still good to have in the car for emergencies. Definitely not what Id buy for regular use for a tall kid though. Probably will be more useful when starting potty training my next baby.

> 24 hourWe carry this with us in the car whenever we go out. It has a little plastic case that comes with it, but we use that to store the bags, and got a separate (washable) bag to carry the potty in. Its fantastic. Going out to eat and dont want to balance your toddler on the big toilet seats? Bring this along, lay it flat and your toddler is comfortable and protected from germs! On a road trip and dont want to risk a gas station restroom, or your toddler needs to go NOW and youre on a stretch of open road? No problem! You click the potette into the seat position (note that people complain about the seat collapsing, but it wont do that if you just click the legs into their place. You MUST click/lock it in to the upright or flat position, otherwise its not stable), put it in the back of your wagon, or in the back seat on a relatively flat surface, or on the side of the road even, your toddler sits down and pees/poops, you tie up the bag and knot it (please dont litter - just store the bag in the back of your car, or the trunk until you can toss it in the garbage - if you knot the bag, you dont smell it), and boom, you are on your way! My daughter loves it - she prefers going on the potty in the car rather than going into an unfamiliar restroom, and on more than one occasion, its been a lifesaver pulling over by the side of the road for an emergency pit stop. Its all plastic and is easily wiped down by a disinfectant wipe, and takes up little room when stored flat. You can buy refill liners for about 50 cents a bag (I got a 30 pack from Wal-Mart for 40 cents a bag), which some might say is costly, but we only use them when we go out, so 30 should last us a long time. When we ran out of our initial supply that comes with the potty, I did use plastic grocery bags (make sure there are no holes in the bag!) and some left over absorbent pads from my pregnancy kit. You can save money by going this route, but you either have to carry around a bag of womens panty liners/pads and grocery bags, or do it up in advance and then fold them all flat so they are ready to go. That seems like a lot of work to me, so we just buy the pre-made ones from Kalencom. The only negative I can comment on about this potty is that its not ideal as your primary potty seat for potty training. I like that its all plastic for easy clean-up on the go, but we did end up buying a cushioned potty seat for at-home potty training. When your toddler is sitting for a long time on the potty, cushioning is nice, and our daughter found this seat too uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time. However, now that she is fully potty trained, she could use this seat for everyday use at home just fine. Overall, I highly recommend the Potette and its definitely one of our best purchases for our toddler.

> 24 hourI like that this thing folds compactly away for easy storage on top of our bathroom shelf, unlike the other types of kiddy potty seats that are out there. This one doesnt have those clips that secure it on the seat, but it fits nicely and doesnt scootch around. The other clip on seats leave many adults scrambling to undo the blasted thing before natures call can be answered - or leaves them to precariously perch on the toddler sized seat and hole, hoping their adult sized everything makes it in the bowl correctly. This one you just fold out, set on the seat, then when your little tike singes Tinkle tinkle Im a star five million times but doesnt do his toddler dooty, you easily fold back up to store away. It also fits in your diaper bag quite easily, or if youre a mom like me, your purse that looks like a diaper bag. Just toss it in a gallon sized ziplock bag with a few antibacterial wipes and youre good. Its hard to click into place for the stand up style potty, but thats good because it means it is STURDY when you finally get those legs shoved into place. No one needs to terrify their toddler with a collapsing toilet - talk about trauma and many more years of diapers after that one. All in all awesome. Will be ordering another for the upstairs bathroom because Im lazy like that.

> 24 hourThis thing is great. We use it in public restrooms, the park, the side of the road, everywhere. It folds up and fits in a backpack which means its always with me.
