There are so many travel potty seats out there, but I love the fact that this can be used as a stand alone potty. When first potty training this was crucial as some outings just didnt have bathrooms nearby and it was critical to be successful and always have a potty available. Were well established with potty training now, but weve moved states since then and with traveling back home for the holidays this past Thanksgiving/Christmas with 8-9 hour car trips, it made our stops so much quicker and easier when we needed to make a quick potty stop without needing to eat, etc. We just set up the potty with the liner in the van, then buckled back in and we were off again without all the unnecessary time since little ones need to go so much more often. The seat is much bigger for this reason, making it not as convenient to store in the diaper bag and not at all discrete as youre toting your toddler to the bathroom with it under your arm at a store or restaurant. You really dont realize how non-standard toilet seats/shapes are until you go through this stage. When using on a standard toilet it isnt aways a perfect fit, but Ive never had an unstable fit where I was concerned about it not being safe or anything.

This is convenient, super easy to clean, small profile-easy to keep in car but because of that small profile, it’s SUPER low to the ground. My toddlers knees were literally up in her chest and she wasn’t able to get a comfy position to go potty, longer legs -like extendable would be better. It also seems very uncomfortable for their butts but it’ll just be used for on the go until she’s comfortable with a big, public potty.

As a parent of two and older sister to 8 I have caught myself in many situations where there simply was no potty. With my youngest being a boy and most of my siblings being the same there was always the option of the tree. Then I started to experience the I have to go (poop) and cant hold it situations with my son. Along, came my daughter who of course cannot pee standing up and we were in for hell (we all know it doesnt really matter how many times you tell them to go before you leave). The first time I had my daughter pee in a cup in the car, or on the side of the road (same road trip), I knew there had to be a better option. She refused pull ups or to pee in her pants so instead it was an insistent scream that she had to go (If you would have heard it the cup would have been an option for you too). So I looked and looked and came across many options. Price wise this was my choice and I stuck gold. The liners are my favorite part they are like grocery bags with diapers built in to absorb pee without any splatter. This is also a no cleaning items as the bag covers the entire seat and you just through it away. As a bonus the seat can be used in the restroom as a cover ( I have yet to do this because I like the cleanliness of the potty with just the bags. Yes I have even used it in the bedroom with my son once when company was over and the bathroom was taken and we had an I have to go moment.

This has been absolutely amazing for my daughter. We purchased this when she turned two and have used it for a year now. I have came back on to write a review and purchased Additional liners as we are getting ready to go on a long road trip. The liners are amazing because they fit right over the little seat making it easy to pull over and let her potty even when in the middle of nowhere. The seat itself fits her perfectly. She is a normal size 3-year-old and it worked just fine for her at two. No seat pinching or wobbling on a larger toilet. The bag that it comes and makes it perfect for in the diaper bag or just to grab and go and have concealed. It is perfect for helping your little ones learn to go someplace other than home especially on those scary gas station toilets. I would buy again if needed but again after one year ours is held up just fine along with the bag and has had a ton of use. Thank you for such a wonderful seat for my daughter

We recently potty trained by 2-year-old daughter, and we would have been lost without this little potty. It is super small, so it fits easily in a backpack or diaper bag. You can buy a reusable, washable insert (which we did) and/or plastic bags with pads on the inside to absorb the pee (which we also did). Both have come in super handy. We took our recently potty trained kiddo on an 8-hour plane ride a month after potty training, and this little potty came in super handy on the plane and in the car to/from various places during our vacation. We keep it in the back of our car now that were home, and she uses it in the back probably once a day when we go out instead of going to the big potty in a store, etc. Its also extremely convenient when she has to go RIGHT NOW and we are nowhere near any toilets. If you have littles ones you are potty training or going to start potty training, get this little potty. You wont be sorry.

This has been a life saver when out with my newly potty trained son. He’s 3 and even when I take him pee before we go to the park he somehow managed to need to go about 50% of the time. This has saved us from emergency trips home because our parks don’t have bathrooms open right now.

I bought this to potty train my daughter before she turned two. Because I was able to be consistent even when we were away from home, she was daytime potty trained in 3 weeks. We liked this so much that we keep one in the car at all times, ready to go, for those really inconvenient Potty-potty! calls on the road. We travel with this one also. Imagine a full restroom in Disneyland and not having to wait for a stall because you have this. If I had to wait for a stall, we would have had a mess to clean up. I just put down some paper towels on the ground in a corner of the restroom, pull out the Potette, let her sit on it to do her thing. There was some mommy-envy from moms in line for a stall. They asked me where I got it. My 21month old son is nearly daytime potty trained after two weeks. I must say that this is best for 18-24month olds because of its height. For boys especially, one has to be very careful to aim downward or a stream of urine could easily arch up & out. Buy this and you will not regret it when your little one is in big kid underwear and you can be fearless about getting to the potty in time!

I bought this because I needed a portable potty for my son. He is fully potty trained but doesnt tell us he needs to go until he is about to pee himself. I was really tired to hovering him over the toilet (thank goodness he is small for his age or else id drop him right in) especially with a bad back and weak arms. I was really looking into the foldup ones for convenience but saw that it was not sturdy and did not fit public toilets. I am so glad i found this. it folds up nicely and is sturdy. I am so happy i read reviews because i found on another review that to use it in a sitting position/potty you have to push it up to lock in place. Anyways the day i got this in the mail my sister took my kids and me to the park and as soon as we got there my son was doing the pee pee dance. I pulled this out, popped the legs in place, popped the baggy in it, put it behind the tree, shimmied down his chones and plopped him on there. He was a bit confused cuz the bag and all but he did his thing and it was all gravy. We also used it on our toilet at home. He loves it. And i love it. =) I get compliments on this all the time. He tells me he needs to go, i bring this out, pop the sides out, put it over the toilet and put him on it. I have yet to find a toilet yet that it didnt fit. ;) .

I hate to knock this thing since it came so highly recommended by bloggers I trust. It is NOT, however, the quality that I expected from the glowing reviews. The material itself seems sturdy, but the design is poor. The legs definitely have a tendency to collapse and fold, both when the seat is standing on its own and when placed on a toilet. It does not grip to any toilet seat Ive placed it on thus far, but slides around. Obviously this is alarming for both myself and my toddler when trying to use this seat. The disposable liners fit over the seat, when they could have easily been designed to clamp underneath without danger of leaks. Having to sit on the liner makes my toddler finicky about using the seat. The shape of the seat itself is also a bit awkward. When using it on a large toilet, it rests so far back on the toilet seat that my toddlers legs are forced to stick straight out in front of him and it is difficult for him to part his legs and angle downward to aim the pee into the potty. There is no raised guard area in the front to catch pee either. I have gotten pee on me every time using the seat. Thankfully, my son has been much more adaptable to using different potties than I anticipated. I bought this seat before leaving the house for the first time after training because I wanted to be extra prepared. However, my son willingly uses any large potty with my assistance, and he uses them much more readily without this rickety seat. Since it is collapsable, I keep this seat in the car with the liners, in case we are at a park or similar place that has no potty nearby. It works in a pinch as long as I hold the legs steady while my son uses it. It is not at all the convenient travel potty I imagined.

We potty trained our son when he was 19 months old. At that age when he said he had to go it meant he had to go NOW! We have 2 potette potties, one in each car and they go with us everywhere. He is now 2y10m old and still uses them. Many times we use the potette because he is too afraid of the loud sounds in pubic bathrooms due to his auditory defensiveness, which is part of his sensory modulation disorder. Weve used it in the back of our car every morning when he was first potty trained to go potty before he goes into school, because due to his disorder it took him a while every morning to adjust in his classroom and he would have an accident due to not being comfortable enough to go potty in the bathroom with a teacher. We used it in the car on long trips, so that we just had to pull over anywhere and he could go. We take it with us when we are shopping, in the park, etc. Even on a regular toilet seat in public I use it so he does not have to seat on the big seat for sanitary purposes and it helps him feel secure he will not fall into the toilet. Many times he requests to go on the small potty (potette) instead of the normal potty in public restrooms. I keep the potette potty and its bags in a small backpack that fits the potty just right with an extra set of undies and cloths just in case. Our son wears the small backpack on his back sometimes when we are out and about. This is one of our best purchases and definitely the best purchase in the potty training category!
