As a parent of two and older sister to 8 I have caught myself in many situations where there simply was no potty. With my youngest being a boy and most of my siblings being the same there was always the option of the tree. Then I started to experience the I have to go (poop) and cant hold it situations with my son. Along, came my daughter who of course cannot pee standing up and we were in for hell (we all know it doesnt really matter how many times you tell them to go before you leave). The first time I had my daughter pee in a cup in the car, or on the side of the road (same road trip), I knew there had to be a better option. She refused pull ups or to pee in her pants so instead it was an insistent scream that she had to go (If you would have heard it the cup would have been an option for you too). So I looked and looked and came across many options. Price wise this was my choice and I stuck gold. The liners are my favorite part they are like grocery bags with diapers built in to absorb pee without any splatter. This is also a no cleaning items as the bag covers the entire seat and you just through it away. As a bonus the seat can be used in the restroom as a cover ( I have yet to do this because I like the cleanliness of the potty with just the bags. Yes I have even used it in the bedroom with my son once when company was over and the bathroom was taken and we had an I have to go moment.

I was skeptical about this one but, as soon as the UPS man delivered it my 2 ½ year old boy wanted to go on it. I let him go 1 time inside but, told him after that it was an outside only potty. We have used it at least 6 times in 2 days and Im mostly very pleased with it. Setup is very easy (just make sure you hear the click when locking the legs in place) but, the built in deflector is somewhat small. Until he learns to hold it down we are going to have to take off his pants and training pants so his legs sit wide enough that it points down automatically (you Mothers of boys know what Im talking about). Also unlocking/folding the legs was a little hard the first couple of times but, it seams to get easier every time. I looked at a couple different portable potty chairs before deciding on this one. The other 2 options were both bulky and 1 didnt have a deflector and the other sealed so you had to carry the waste home and clean it out. Overall, I am very pleased with this seat.

Loved this! At first I was very skeptical because I thought there was no way my daughter could sit on it in the potty chair mode without having to hover or her touching the bag, but she was easily able to it on it like a regular potty chair with no hovering and no touching the bottom of the bag. It’s a great travel seat! We bought this to keep in our van specifically for the times she has to go and there’s no where to go. We’ve had it for one week and it has came in handy three times! At the park with no actual bathroom? Use the Potette! At a out door event and don’t want your child to use a nasty port-a-potty? Use the potette! It’s small enough to fit between our front seat and captains chair in our Toyota Sienna, so it is very discreet. Seriously wish we had purchased sooner!

My daughter is 20 months old, and decided she wanted to use the big potty. Im not one of those weird moms who puts their kid on the toilet every 20 minutes so they can be potty trained at 9 months old (for a mention in their latest YouTube video about how to teach your child French while practicing Mommy and Me Yoga). On the flip side, many of my friends said it was a waste of time to potty train before her second birthday. I ignored them because she showed definite signs of being ready. First, my daughter was always an obvious pooper. Panicked looks, squatting down, grabbing the edges of furniture, and saying ooo-eee - what I say when I change her diaper - had been her poop trademarks since she was very small. But the doctor said that it would be easier to potty train her when she can control her bladder better, and that wet accidents happen more often than pooping their pants. Makes sense. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago; I thought she had taken a liking to saying baby one morning as I was making breakfast, before I realized too late that she was actually saying peepee, and had relieved herself of he pants, diaper, and urine, all over the carpet. I didnt want to deal with the headache of cleaning out a baby potty, and transitioning to the big toilet, because I dont really understand the point, so I began looking for a portable seat that goes on top of a regular toilet. The options were pretty limited. I wanted a seat to use at home, but that was small enough to take to public places so she could use the bathroom without falling in the gigantic oval abyss that most public toilets have become. I narrowed it down to this one, and the cheaper, more compact but more dubious looking seat that folds into quarters. After reading reviews that the smaller seat occasionally falls in, I bit the bullet and bought the Potette Plus. Its wide, sturdy, and was stable even when my kid wiggled around trying to dance when she was excited about the amazing poo-poo in the potty song I wrote, sang and produced for her pooping pleasure. I cant say anything about its use as a stand alone potty yet, but may use it for camping trips. Its been a few days, and my daughter has only had 2 accidents, one because I was cooking and couldnt run her to the bathroom. I still keep her in pull-ups at night, but she has been having a great time getting to sit up high on the big potty. If you have a boy, the splash guard is pretty small, and you might get peed on.

This little potty is great for travel. We go my oldest sons baseball games alot and sometimes the facilities are a far walk for toddler legs. But when they are close she will use it on the big potty. But the travel bag reminds of a patient belongings bag you get from the hospital wish they would have thought alittle better on bag. My toddler is now fully trained and she can get on the potty seat on her own.

We’re in the car and she’s used this thing 3 times today within maybe 2 hours. I was inspired to immediately write a review if I hadn’t already. That’s just today. My daughter is 3.5 and she’s used this sooooo many times since we bought it over a year ago. It’s a life saver. I recommend it to everyone. I’ve used it before!!! I’m pregnant and you never know when you might not be able to find a restroom! Lol. Truly one of the best Amazon purchases I’ve ever made. We use plastic grocery bags and cheap diapers as replacement liners and they hold quite a bit. Just buy it. We’ve never had an accident in the car. Amazing product.

My twins were out of diapers by 21 months old, and my youngest twin is on the petite side so having a portable seat was essential for our family. Twins are almost 3, and we were so pleasantly surprised with it we purchased 2. We recently went on a trip in the middle of potty training, so having 1 each in their own backpack was helpful because when they need to go, you have to act fast. And basically my husband and I would divide and conquer. About the product: we have used several types of bags (diaper bags, kids backpacks) and these are so portable, we have never had an issue of not being able to fit. These are very easy to clean. What I love best is the foldable wings. It’s versatile. Fits over any size toilet and if we are somewhere with no immediate bathroom access, just stand the wings down and use as a portable toilet. For the times where I needed to use it as a portable toilet on the floor, I did not utilize the bags or liners. My twin girls just peed, and these times were in parks or wooded areas. The product only came with a few liners and I want to save them for poop needs. But I have read, you can use any plastic bag to substitute. Since I have not used any bag, I can not comment on the how well the seat works with a bag. Now that my twins are almost 3 and can use a toilet without any riser at home and school, we still continue to this product in public settings because it’s more safe and sanitary. I don’t have to put them on the public toilet (with liners), and no need to worry about my smaller twin falling through the toilet.

The product is high quality, stable, it is important to hear a click when you open the legs. We tried it at trip with a 3-year-old girl and it worked great. The girl was satisfied and so were we, because until now she had a hard time sitting down on nature walks. Now we will buy nylons with a pad.
