I dont tend to write many reviews but this potty seat is amazing. Ive succesfully potty trained my 16month old!! Never even thought that was possible, I bought this when he was 12months old, using it maybe 1-2 times a week and then within a months time he was pooping in the toilet in 2 months time he wa telling me when he had to go, and we would rush to the potty and hed go both pee and poop. Its great because I can bring it with me when I go somewhere and I can slip it on and off our toilet. I was never a fan of the childrens pottys that you have to dump their pee and poop into the toilet. Gross. This is the best way to go. Its secure and has easy grips on the side which Ive taught him to hold onto. I havent tried the bags that go with it yet but Ill be buying those now since he is becoming more and more vocal before soiling his diaper. I highly recommend this. Although every baby is different, this has worked for us!

Buy it, you won’t regret it! Having a 2.5 year old who has recently been potty trained and finding a clean safe public bathroom is a nightmare(especially with a girl). Worry no more with this light weight travel potty. It’s literally saved us from TONS of accidents. We take it and have used it everywhere we go. City streets, trains, car rides but most of all playgrounds. When your kid/s has to go they have to go! Good luck running, trying to find a bathroom with your other children and a stroller. Almost impossible. They can’t hold it for long so having this travel potty makes life so convenient. We get stopped often when it’s out and so many people can’t believe how cool it is. It’s my favorite child item for sure! You won’t regret it. We store ours in a light weight draw string bag, with tissues, wipes and tons of plastics bags and we’re good to go!

I decided to potty train my little boy before he turned 2 1/2. He did so amazing so quickly that I didnt know what I was going to do when we went out in public (I had assumed it would take so much longer than it did, and hadnt planned on taking him out for much longer). I order 2 of these potties and the extra pack of disposable bags, one for my car and one for my husband. I love that I can take it into a store or restaurant and use it on the toilet, or we can set it up in the car or even just on the ground and he can use it. Its so easy and it works so well. I am also pleased with how it works for a boy, as many potties dont have an adequate guard in the front to prevent spraying. My only complaint is that I dont feel like the legs are as sturdy as they could be, but so far they havent collapsed so I might just be paranoid. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a travel potty.

My daughter has been just learning how to go in the potty and this was so great to take to the playground and to a restaurant. We use the bag that it comes in to take it and have our Clorox wipes to clean it so that is nice. And of course it goes into a backpack or large purse and with it being lightweight it makes it easy to transport!

Overall the Potette is a good concept, its great to have your kids own personal potty anywhere. There is definitely room for improvement here and this is what I feel needs improvement: 1. While it is VERY compact, I wouldnt mind it being a bit bigger if it meant having longer legs. Once set up as a stand alone potty, kids WILL have to squat and this can be an issue with some kids. 2. The potty hole is rather large! Which can be a problem because kids already have to squat so it would be nice to make it more comfortable by having room to sit their butts on. Here is what I like about it: 1. VERY compact, it was even more compact than I was expecting. 2. It is designed to be used with a liner, so it is mess free. No need to dump anything from the potty. Just tie the bag and properly dispose. 3. It comes with its own bag to keep it discreet and keeps any germs inside and away. Tips: 1. DONT buy the liners! The liners are literary a small plastic bag with some type of thin padding at the bottom. You might be better off carrying your own plastic baggies and throwing a folded.paper towel in there.

We are out and about a lot, so I got this to try and stay consistent with potty training with my toddler. He has a Munchkin floor potty he has been working with primarily which has a wider rim to sit on, so I think he’s not a fan of the narrower rim on this seat which doesn’t offer much support, especially when placed on a gaping wide adult public toilet seat. It does fit and it stays still, but I imagine it feels kind of like being the clown in one of those carnival dunk tank games. He liked sitting on it In the ground with the liner, so we’re going to keep working with it as he gets used to this potty thing. Worth trial and error for $16ish, and it fits easily in the diaper bag with plenty of room for everything else.

I have to say that having this potty in the car and folded up in my diaper bag has prevented so many potential accidents that I have lost track. Love, love this product. I especially like that I can fold it up, stick it the bag and take it anywhere, its very discreet. My child is still afraid of the big toilets even after a month of potty training. So I needed to find a way to bring the potty with us to the store, park, restaurants and road trips. This works great. So far we are only using this product as a stand-alone potty, not on the toilet seat. Like previous reviews, I agree the inserts they sell are way too expensive (thus why I give it a 4 star and not a five). So instead of their bags, I am using up all her old diapers, unfolding them and then inserting them into plastic grocery bags (which I fold over the potty). So far I have had only one spill. I had a hole in the bag and the contents leaked but other than that one time, this systems seems to be working for me. I also carry some travel size disinfectant wipes to wipe the seat down. Quick, easy and the potty is ready to go for the next use. Highly recommend this product!

I just got this a couple of days ago, but weve already put it to good use. My daughter has just decided to be potty trained, and I wanted to be serious about it. So, a day after she started, we went to a doctors appointment. I had no clue what to do about going in public with a toddler who wasnt wearing a diaper, so I decided to take our regular potty seat. It was big and bulky and barely fit in my diaper bag (I have a 6-month old, too, so the bag was packed out). When I came home from that appointment, is when I decided to look for an alternative to the regular potty seat. Someone told me about the foldable seats, and thats what I was going to get. Then I came across the potette 2-in-1. It seemed to be exactly what I needed. Were going on a few trips this summer, and toilets might not always be around, so I really needed something that could be both a potty seat and a potty chair. Its small enough to easily fit in a packed out diaper bag (dont get me wrong, its still bulky, but I cant imagine it being any smaller than it is), it comes in nice bag to keep everything else around it sanitary, and its just an all-around great concept! My daughter has successfully used it as a seat on a regular sized toilet out in public twice already. She hasnt used it as a potty chair yet, but I did have her sit on it to test it out. Its very sturdy. I cant say enough good things about this product and will be recommending it to all my friends! UPDATE: Its been a week and we have used this item so many times, and both ways - as a chair and a a seat on a regular toilet. This one product has been so instrumental in keeping the potty training going away from home. Weve used it in the car, in a parking lot, in public restrooms, at church, at a park....everywhere! Its a must-have.

I love this little potty. We potty trained our daughter at 14 months but only in a little potty (would not go if we hovered her over a normal toilet seat). We use the babybjorn potties at home and this one when we leave the house. it folds up so it fits in the diaper bag and comes with plastic carry bag. Just make sure you snap the legs in to lock if using it as a standalone porta potty - the first time I used it I didnt realize this and when she sat on the potty one of the legs folded in and she slid off to the side. Kinda funny to watch but scarred her and she was afraid to use it for a while. I have popped off a leg a few times when trying to unlock them to fold away - not a big deal just pop them back in. After we ran out of the liners we used a plastic grocery bag and no longer needed diapers. Ill use a paper towel once we run out of diapers. Love that when were traveling, she just sits on this little potty in the car or any flat surface and then we can just throw away a plastic bag. It is a little funny shaped so your child may have some difficulty balancing their tushy on it - but my daughter got used to it. Would recommend doing a few practice runs with it at home before taking it on the go when its an emergency.

My two-year-old is just learning to potty train, and this potty has been perfect for us when we travel. So far, Ive only used it as a seat on larger toilets, not as a stand-alone potty. But I have no complaints about the size or the sturdiness - and my daughter is in the 99th percentile for height and weight. I took this along with us on a 300 mile road trip recently, and it was PERFECT. Being so young and so new to potty-training, she cant really give me much notice when she needs to go, or hold it for very long afterward. This allowed me to take her in to public restrooms without having to worry about how dirty the seat might be, or asking her to wait while I wipe off the toilet. I just unfold this, put her on, and she does what she needs to do. When shes done, I can clean the potty with anti-bacterial wipes, or wash it off in the sink. Much faster, easier, and cleaner than trying to hold a squirming toddler on a dirty toilet seat thats too big for her. Plus, she gets a sense of independence because she can balance on the seat by herself, without mommy or daddy having to hold on to her - something she seems to relish. Its the perfect size to fit in our diaper bag, and its no more bulky than her diapers / wipes / changing pad were. The ONLY thing I can think of to improve this product would be if the manufacturers were to add a seat cover that would allow it to be used as a footstool for reaching the sink to wash hands. I dont know if that would be possible and still retain the slim size, but that would make it the absolute perfect potty training product.
