> 3 dayA friend of mine told me about this product before we had even stated potty training our daughter and I had forgotten about till one day we were at the park and she had to go! Thankfully we were close to home and made it in time. Right after that I remember this product and ordered it right away! Since getting it this potty has been an on the go lifesaver. No issues at places with no bathrooms or having to help them balance on adult toilets which gives them a sense of independence. Also a plus on long car rides. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI bought about 4 o 5 different portable toilets and this one was the winner. I wish the fron part was a little but higher, I think that would be an extra point if you have a boy, but really we havent had any issues. My 3 yr old and my 6 yr old daughter have used a few times with no issues. Easy to assemble, no extra strength required, less hassle, no pinched fingers while trying to fold it/unfold. Also, regular plastic bags, like the ones you get at the store work with it.

Greater than one weekUpdate: this is the best thing since slice bread once your kid is big enough to sit in it (about age 20months plus). Thanks to this I have avoided almost all public restrooms and it has cut bathroom time by 75% when we are out. Whenever we get anywhere; I just set it up, put a plastic grocery bag in it, put a cheap maxi pad down, have her lean forward and pee, and then I use a glove and a wipe and wipe her and then toss the wipe and the glove in the bag, Tie it off and toss in a nearby garbage can. It has revolutionized my life in that way, because it takes 30 seconds, no public restroom, and also, if we are at a big park without good restrooms, I just have her run to the car. I also have even taken it in the stroller like out to the beach or even other places. Out on the boat too. Its like one of the best things. Ive even used it in an emergency (Im petite ...) Earlier: This is a very WIDE hole. And I guess I purchased too quickly because I didnt realize it said 15months plus. I am starting potty training early and there is no way she will fit on this for awhile. Very hard plastic. I do plan on using it in the long off future for like camping or to avoid public restrooms at times. So for THAT purpose I think it will be good. For at home and for starting before 15months, not a practical purchase.

> 3 dayLove the versatility and durability. We purchased this when our first baby turned 1 and have used it to potty train all 4 of our kids. We have had it for 11years. We now use it to have on long car rides so we can stop anywhere for the kids to relieve themselves. The bags that come with it are good for 1 kid 1 time. With multiple kids we use a diaper in the bottom of a plastic bag works better for multiple kids at 1 stop. Then we dont have to change bags between each kid.

22-11-2024Ive had this thing since my first child whose now age 6 and still uses this while on the go. This is a MUST for my potty trained 3 year old. Especially, when driving longer than an hour (this means traffic as well). It has saved hours of pulling off on the side of the road, long bathroom lines, and countless outings. Not to mention a miracle for those number 2 moments in the middle of nowhere while hiking, camping, ATVing. My husband accuses me of being a tech mom and buying too many gadgets for too many things. My track record is good and its thanks to products such as these. My only regret- is that they dont make these for adults. However, there were 2 really, really, really big emergencies (during my 2nd pregnancy while we were out in the middle of nowhere and I was desperate) and it saved my rear (literally). If you have a baby that will soon become a toddler...you NEED to buy this. Like I stated earlier, my 6 year old will use it and I have admitted to using it as well. I also placed this same review on the refills. I have used grocery bags when I ran out, but get the refills. It saves on the odor especially on long road trips or in traffic.

> 3 dayThis has saved us on long car trips a few times now. Once I started potty training with my toddler, I knew this kind of thing would be necessary as we live in LA and being stuck in the car for long periods is normal. We also like to travel and do some local car trips. When you are coasting on the highway or stuck in traffic around town and your new-to-potty-training kid says I need to go! I need to go! you dont have much time to drive to pull off and find a gas station. I just climb into the back seat and assist her as she goes right in the Potette on the side of the road with no problems! Its also much nicer than most gas station bathrooms anyway. Also good for camping when you dont want to walk your kid to the restroom in the middle of the night. A great tip from other reviewers: buy a pack of cheap panty liners and place one inside the plastic bag. They absorb everything and are way cheaper than what Potette sells. The legs do click in place and are sturdy once you hear that click sound. I keep one in each car.

Greater than one weekI hate to knock this thing since it came so highly recommended by bloggers I trust. It is NOT, however, the quality that I expected from the glowing reviews. The material itself seems sturdy, but the design is poor. The legs definitely have a tendency to collapse and fold, both when the seat is standing on its own and when placed on a toilet. It does not grip to any toilet seat Ive placed it on thus far, but slides around. Obviously this is alarming for both myself and my toddler when trying to use this seat. The disposable liners fit over the seat, when they could have easily been designed to clamp underneath without danger of leaks. Having to sit on the liner makes my toddler finicky about using the seat. The shape of the seat itself is also a bit awkward. When using it on a large toilet, it rests so far back on the toilet seat that my toddlers legs are forced to stick straight out in front of him and it is difficult for him to part his legs and angle downward to aim the pee into the potty. There is no raised guard area in the front to catch pee either. I have gotten pee on me every time using the seat. Thankfully, my son has been much more adaptable to using different potties than I anticipated. I bought this seat before leaving the house for the first time after training because I wanted to be extra prepared. However, my son willingly uses any large potty with my assistance, and he uses them much more readily without this rickety seat. Since it is collapsable, I keep this seat in the car with the liners, in case we are at a park or similar place that has no potty nearby. It works in a pinch as long as I hold the legs steady while my son uses it. It is not at all the convenient travel potty I imagined.

Greater than one weekThe little one that I care for is quite petite so this is an especially good purchase for me for that reason. That means she will be able to use this for a lot longer than other children might. If your child has long legs then you can take the empty box from a case of soda and turn it upside-down under this seat on the floor. Ive thanked God for this potty seat! Its light weight so its easy to carry to the mall and everywhere in a small to medium sized tote bag. Not having to put this tiny girl on a big public (filthy) toilet is PRICELESS! I do struggle a bit trying to lock and unlock the legs into the right position but still…its worth the struggle. You have to push and pull pretty hard to get them into the right place and my arms and wrists arent that strong. I use regular food store bags in it along with three folded paper towels. I put it on the floor in the family rest rooms. Its all washable. This is a clever design and Im very glad to have this option for her. Even though shes almost four shes still using it. A good purchase! :-)

Greater than one weekThis is the best $10 I have ever spent! One week after my son turned 2, he decided that he was going to use the toilet and no more diapers. While I applauded his desire and determination, I had a feeling the ability might take a bit of time to perfect. So, after seeing the special potties for using on the go in one of his potty books, I took to Amazon to find out what these on the go potties are. For $10, I decided to try the potette plus--and have now purchased 3 potette plus-es! These things are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They are little folding potties that can be set up as a small potty OR (bonus!) placed upon a full sized adult toilet seat to make it child sized. The legs easily snap into place to set the potette up as a potty and easily extend out to use as a childs seat on the adult toilet. It is the PERFECT size for the mommy, I have to potty, as soon as you make your turn onto a busy street--you can easily pull off into the closest parking lot or parking space, set up the potty on the car seat, floor, hatchback, folded down seat, what have you, so that junior can make his pee pee, after telling you for the 5000th time before you left the house 1 minute earlier that he did not have to go. Pros: Fits perfectly in the diaper bag where we used to keep the changing pad Easy to set up and use; for a portable potty, stick in one of the included liners (replacements are available for a reasonable price too--they look like plastic grocery bags with an absorbent pad at the bottom), and prop up the potty for junior to use (we keep it set up in the car--we fold down the front passenger seat and let junior sit on his throne on the folded seat. Its saved us many a time from an unforeseen car seat incident as grandpa would call it. Also perfect for bathroom-less parks, the beach, or anyplace else that your little one has to go while on the go. Once junior does his business in the disposable liner, you remove the bag, tie up the handles, toss it in the trash and go about your day. Easy to use on the adult potty. My little guy was public restroom (or any restroom that was not at home) a-phobic. He REFUSED to use toilets that were not his own, which made leaving the house while potty training extra fun. After we got the potette, every toilet seat looks alike! (because the potette is nicely propped on top and that is all the little one sees). The legs/handles keep junior from grabbing those germ infested toilet seats in public restrooms to hold on--he can just hang on to the legs/handles of the potette plus and keep his precious hands free from public toilet yucks. Cons: We didnt realize that the legs snapped up into the potette to stabilize it when used as a potty. We learned that after a couple of wobbly attempts. Make sure that you snap the legs in place when using as a free standing potty. Overall, it has made potty training a breeze. We never had to spend those long dreaded weekends at home because junior was learning to use the toilet. We just bring the potette plus with us and hes good to go on the go. We keep 1 in each car and 1 in the diaper bag. It seems like nothing brings on the urge to potty like getting strapped into the car seat and pulling out of the neighborhood.

Greater than one weekThis portable potty is exactly what I needed to help potty train our twin granddaughters! They both love the colors & theyve both said, thank you Nana for our new potty at your house. Mom has already asked us to take on vacay for the girls to use! It has helped them not be afraid to sit on Nanas toilets! They arent afraid of falling in anymore!!
