24-11-2024We potty trained our son when he was 19 months old. At that age when he said he had to go it meant he had to go NOW! We have 2 potette potties, one in each car and they go with us everywhere. He is now 2y10m old and still uses them. Many times we use the potette because he is too afraid of the loud sounds in pubic bathrooms due to his auditory defensiveness, which is part of his sensory modulation disorder. Weve used it in the back of our car every morning when he was first potty trained to go potty before he goes into school, because due to his disorder it took him a while every morning to adjust in his classroom and he would have an accident due to not being comfortable enough to go potty in the bathroom with a teacher. We used it in the car on long trips, so that we just had to pull over anywhere and he could go. We take it with us when we are shopping, in the park, etc. Even on a regular toilet seat in public I use it so he does not have to seat on the big seat for sanitary purposes and it helps him feel secure he will not fall into the toilet. Many times he requests to go on the small potty (potette) instead of the normal potty in public restrooms. I keep the potette potty and its bags in a small backpack that fits the potty just right with an extra set of undies and cloths just in case. Our son wears the small backpack on his back sometimes when we are out and about. This is one of our best purchases and definitely the best purchase in the potty training category!

> 3 dayThis has been a life saver when out with my newly potty trained son. He’s 3 and even when I take him pee before we go to the park he somehow managed to need to go about 50% of the time. This has saved us from emergency trips home because our parks don’t have bathrooms open right now.

> 3 dayWe’ve used this potty for 2 years and it has been a life saver. Many times we’ve been out at the park or on the road when little one needs to go. We use the bags with absorbent pads with this potty. Very easy to clean, we’ve sprayed it down or used wipes. We’ve also used it countless times in public restrooms to go over the top of the toilet seat. We carry it in a regular sized backpack, in its own bag, with other diapering items. If you are considering purchasing this potty, it will very helpful.

> 3 dayI love this little potty. We potty trained our daughter at 14 months but only in a little potty (would not go if we hovered her over a normal toilet seat). We use the babybjorn potties at home and this one when we leave the house. it folds up so it fits in the diaper bag and comes with plastic carry bag. Just make sure you snap the legs in to lock if using it as a standalone porta potty - the first time I used it I didnt realize this and when she sat on the potty one of the legs folded in and she slid off to the side. Kinda funny to watch but scarred her and she was afraid to use it for a while. I have popped off a leg a few times when trying to unlock them to fold away - not a big deal just pop them back in. After we ran out of the liners we used a plastic grocery bag and no longer needed diapers. Ill use a paper towel once we run out of diapers. Love that when were traveling, she just sits on this little potty in the car or any flat surface and then we can just throw away a plastic bag. It is a little funny shaped so your child may have some difficulty balancing their tushy on it - but my daughter got used to it. Would recommend doing a few practice runs with it at home before taking it on the go when its an emergency.

> 3 dayOverall the Potette is a good concept, its great to have your kids own personal potty anywhere. There is definitely room for improvement here and this is what I feel needs improvement: 1. While it is VERY compact, I wouldnt mind it being a bit bigger if it meant having longer legs. Once set up as a stand alone potty, kids WILL have to squat and this can be an issue with some kids. 2. The potty hole is rather large! Which can be a problem because kids already have to squat so it would be nice to make it more comfortable by having room to sit their butts on. Here is what I like about it: 1. VERY compact, it was even more compact than I was expecting. 2. It is designed to be used with a liner, so it is mess free. No need to dump anything from the potty. Just tie the bag and properly dispose. 3. It comes with its own bag to keep it discreet and keeps any germs inside and away. Tips: 1. DONT buy the liners! The liners are literary a small plastic bag with some type of thin padding at the bottom. You might be better off carrying your own plastic baggies and throwing a folded.paper towel in there.

> 3 dayFit well over toilets and no splashing out ! My girls sit comfortably on it. Fold up small enough to fit in diaper bag. Happy with the purchase!

23-11-2024This is convenient, super easy to clean, small profile-easy to keep in car but because of that small profile, it’s SUPER low to the ground. My toddlers knees were literally up in her chest and she wasn’t able to get a comfy position to go potty, longer legs -like extendable would be better. It also seems very uncomfortable for their butts but it’ll just be used for on the go until she’s comfortable with a big, public potty.

> 3 dayOriginally got this for my son for when we were traveling so we didnt have to find a gas station in a pinch and when you are stuck in a traffic jam and one of the adults youre traveling with needs a restroom... It works.

21-11-2024My daughter has been just learning how to go in the potty and this was so great to take to the playground and to a restaurant. We use the bag that it comes in to take it and have our Clorox wipes to clean it so that is nice. And of course it goes into a backpack or large purse and with it being lightweight it makes it easy to transport!
