> 3 dayGreat idea! So easy to use!! I was sceptical at first thinking it looked too simple but after trying it out its perfect for one offs. A few improvements I would make: - these would be great if they came in two sizes. This one is very small so my son has to really position himself to ensure the wee goes down into the potty - I had to lift the bag in front (which is a tip for others with boys having the same problem). A bigger one with bigger seat and higher legs would be terrific! My son is on the 98th percentile for height and weight so we struggle to find things that will work sometimes - the legs pull right out when clipping them in and out.. No biggy but a stopper of some kind would help so as to not have to try 2-3 times each time Tips for other buyers: The bags they supply are great but also easily DIY - just keep a few biodegrade bags in your car along with a roll of absorbent paper towels. Take a piece of paper towel, place it in the bottom of the biodegrable plastic bag and voila! - this is terrific for use in the back of an SUV. I like to avoid public toilets - something that was harder with a toliet trainer and this makes it possible! - pair this with training pants (I like the under the Nile organic cotton ones), a piddle pad (the bumble baby car seat protector works great), and a great setup at home (I love the potty stool with handles & Xpress trainer toilet seat) and you will have one confident, happy and fully toilet-learned toddler before you know it ;)

> 3 dayWe recently potty trained by 2-year-old daughter, and we would have been lost without this little potty. It is super small, so it fits easily in a backpack or diaper bag. You can buy a reusable, washable insert (which we did) and/or plastic bags with pads on the inside to absorb the pee (which we also did). Both have come in super handy. We took our recently potty trained kiddo on an 8-hour plane ride a month after potty training, and this little potty came in super handy on the plane and in the car to/from various places during our vacation. We keep it in the back of our car now that were home, and she uses it in the back probably once a day when we go out instead of going to the big potty in a store, etc. Its also extremely convenient when she has to go RIGHT NOW and we are nowhere near any toilets. If you have littles ones you are potty training or going to start potty training, get this little potty. You wont be sorry.

Greater than one weekI absolutely love this thing and so is my 2.3 yo. We are potty training and I was wondering how the heck am I going to deal with long outside walks. TOday we went to the park and just got it out of the diaper bag, set it by a tree, got our business done, and went on with the plans. It is absolutely fantastic - stable and portable- and a life saver. I don’t need to worry about finding a public bathroom at all right now and that is mind blowing.

> 3 dayMy family takes an almost month long camping trip every summer and this was the best thing to bring for out 3 year old!! She’s fully potty trained and it was so easy to have her just potty out in the woods since we don’t camp near any bathrooms. It also comes with little bags that attach to it with a little absorbent pad inside so no spills or leaks! Highly recommend this for long car rides and camping trips ! It folds up so it can fit in a backpack and under the seats in the car!

> 3 dayBuy it, you won’t regret it! Having a 2.5 year old who has recently been potty trained and finding a clean safe public bathroom is a nightmare(especially with a girl). Worry no more with this light weight travel potty. It’s literally saved us from TONS of accidents. We take it and have used it everywhere we go. City streets, trains, car rides but most of all playgrounds. When your kid/s has to go they have to go! Good luck running, trying to find a bathroom with your other children and a stroller. Almost impossible. They can’t hold it for long so having this travel potty makes life so convenient. We get stopped often when it’s out and so many people can’t believe how cool it is. It’s my favorite child item for sure! You won’t regret it. We store ours in a light weight draw string bag, with tissues, wipes and tons of plastics bags and we’re good to go!

> 3 dayMy daughter has been just learning how to go in the potty and this was so great to take to the playground and to a restaurant. We use the bag that it comes in to take it and have our Clorox wipes to clean it so that is nice. And of course it goes into a backpack or large purse and with it being lightweight it makes it easy to transport!

> 3 dayWhen you’re newly potty training your toddler you want to be ready to sit them down at the drop of a hat. I keep this in the trunk and it has saved us from sooooo many accidents when there isn’t a restroom nearby or if there is a sudden need to potty. Best part is the plastic bag inserts (sold separately) hold both pee and poop, so you just tied it up when you’re done and toss it! We’ll be traveling soon and I plan on taking this with us to use as an insert in the air bnb and also to keep in the rental car.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best gifts I received for my 1 yr old while potty training. The bag liner system thats needed is a little awkward at first, but very simple. We take this everywhere now. It can be used in the car or on top of a full sized toilet while out and about and it fits easily into a baby bag or large purse.

Greater than one weekHands-down one of the best products Ive purchased in the past 3 years of parenthood! This thing is SO versatile and has saved our behinds more than a few times. Purchased it before our summer travels (10 months ago) and it has gone with us on every outing since. My 3-year-old hates sitting on big potties (hes scared to fall in) so this has come in quite handy on-the-go. Hes a boy (obviously) so going to the bathroom is a bit easier for us if its just #1, but I have a friend with little girls who swears by this thing because it can serve as a sit-down potty ANYWHERE as long as you have a plastic bag on you. (Side note: dont bother with the fancy bags they sell for this thing separately. Just use a plastic bag and throw a few paper towels, napkins, or baby wipes in the bottom to absorb the pee.) Just fabulous... and I love that its so easy to clean/sanitize too!

> 3 dayThis potty/potty seat seemed like a terrific idea for travel and walks, but the folding legs dont snap into place firmly. One of my daughters was particularly excited to use it ... until the legs folded when she was on it, and she fell on her face. Now shes afraid of it and would rather wet herself on a walk than use it, which really defeats the purpose. The problem is that the legs move between their three positions -- fully folded, down for use as a potty, and straight out to the sides for use as a potty seat -- very easily. Yes, they snap in place, but they also snap out of place with just a little pressure. With a design like this, there should be some locking mechanism, or it should at least take a lot more pressure to move the legs from position to position. FYI, the potty comes with a few bags to get you started and also includes a plastic draw-string back you can use to carry it around. July 2016: Coming back years later to revise this review. Yeah, its easy not to lock the legs in place properly and end up with a spilled kid, but once you get the hang of how to lock the legs, these potties are pretty darned handy. To tell you the truth, we still carry one of these around in the car for kiddie emergency pee breaks, three or four years on. Any cheap plastic item we still find useful after four years deserves more than two stars! A very handy item. Just practice locking the legs before you start using it.
