> 3 dayMy two-year-old is just learning to potty train, and this potty has been perfect for us when we travel. So far, Ive only used it as a seat on larger toilets, not as a stand-alone potty. But I have no complaints about the size or the sturdiness - and my daughter is in the 99th percentile for height and weight. I took this along with us on a 300 mile road trip recently, and it was PERFECT. Being so young and so new to potty-training, she cant really give me much notice when she needs to go, or hold it for very long afterward. This allowed me to take her in to public restrooms without having to worry about how dirty the seat might be, or asking her to wait while I wipe off the toilet. I just unfold this, put her on, and she does what she needs to do. When shes done, I can clean the potty with anti-bacterial wipes, or wash it off in the sink. Much faster, easier, and cleaner than trying to hold a squirming toddler on a dirty toilet seat thats too big for her. Plus, she gets a sense of independence because she can balance on the seat by herself, without mommy or daddy having to hold on to her - something she seems to relish. Its the perfect size to fit in our diaper bag, and its no more bulky than her diapers / wipes / changing pad were. The ONLY thing I can think of to improve this product would be if the manufacturers were to add a seat cover that would allow it to be used as a footstool for reaching the sink to wash hands. I dont know if that would be possible and still retain the slim size, but that would make it the absolute perfect potty training product.

> 3 dayAfter my daughter raved about this travel potty chair I bought one and now have two. I have also given them as gifts to new parents. This thing is so handy. No matter how much you encourage your kids or grandkids to go potty before you leave home they inevitably have to go again when you arrive in the parking lot, or just before you need to head home. Have learned my lesson and now keep this potty chair loaded with a clean bag at all times (Grandpa, I have to go NOW). Bags can be a little tricky to get on at first but once you get the hang of it, no sweat (they are made to stay put so you want them installed correctly). I love the little pad in the bottom that absorbs and holds liquids, it works great. We have never had a leak or spill and have used it for years. Dont forget to order extra bags!

> 3 dayThis is the best $10 I have ever spent! One week after my son turned 2, he decided that he was going to use the toilet and no more diapers. While I applauded his desire and determination, I had a feeling the ability might take a bit of time to perfect. So, after seeing the special potties for using on the go in one of his potty books, I took to Amazon to find out what these on the go potties are. For $10, I decided to try the potette plus--and have now purchased 3 potette plus-es! These things are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They are little folding potties that can be set up as a small potty OR (bonus!) placed upon a full sized adult toilet seat to make it child sized. The legs easily snap into place to set the potette up as a potty and easily extend out to use as a childs seat on the adult toilet. It is the PERFECT size for the mommy, I have to potty, as soon as you make your turn onto a busy street--you can easily pull off into the closest parking lot or parking space, set up the potty on the car seat, floor, hatchback, folded down seat, what have you, so that junior can make his pee pee, after telling you for the 5000th time before you left the house 1 minute earlier that he did not have to go. Pros: Fits perfectly in the diaper bag where we used to keep the changing pad Easy to set up and use; for a portable potty, stick in one of the included liners (replacements are available for a reasonable price too--they look like plastic grocery bags with an absorbent pad at the bottom), and prop up the potty for junior to use (we keep it set up in the car--we fold down the front passenger seat and let junior sit on his throne on the folded seat. Its saved us many a time from an unforeseen car seat incident as grandpa would call it. Also perfect for bathroom-less parks, the beach, or anyplace else that your little one has to go while on the go. Once junior does his business in the disposable liner, you remove the bag, tie up the handles, toss it in the trash and go about your day. Easy to use on the adult potty. My little guy was public restroom (or any restroom that was not at home) a-phobic. He REFUSED to use toilets that were not his own, which made leaving the house while potty training extra fun. After we got the potette, every toilet seat looks alike! (because the potette is nicely propped on top and that is all the little one sees). The legs/handles keep junior from grabbing those germ infested toilet seats in public restrooms to hold on--he can just hang on to the legs/handles of the potette plus and keep his precious hands free from public toilet yucks. Cons: We didnt realize that the legs snapped up into the potette to stabilize it when used as a potty. We learned that after a couple of wobbly attempts. Make sure that you snap the legs in place when using as a free standing potty. Overall, it has made potty training a breeze. We never had to spend those long dreaded weekends at home because junior was learning to use the toilet. We just bring the potette plus with us and hes good to go on the go. We keep 1 in each car and 1 in the diaper bag. It seems like nothing brings on the urge to potty like getting strapped into the car seat and pulling out of the neighborhood.

> 3 dayWe’re in the car and she’s used this thing 3 times today within maybe 2 hours. I was inspired to immediately write a review if I hadn’t already. That’s just today. My daughter is 3.5 and she’s used this sooooo many times since we bought it over a year ago. It’s a life saver. I recommend it to everyone. I’ve used it before!!! I’m pregnant and you never know when you might not be able to find a restroom! Lol. Truly one of the best Amazon purchases I’ve ever made. We use plastic grocery bags and cheap diapers as replacement liners and they hold quite a bit. Just buy it. We’ve never had an accident in the car. Amazing product.

25-04-2025Since I bought it, Id mostly used it flattened out, as a potty seat to place on top of other toilet seats when not at home, rather than as a potty itself. Its not the smallest thing to have in the diaper bag, so I was starting to wonder if I really needed it anymore. Maybe it wasnt worth the bulk, since my daughter is starting to get better at sitting on regular toilet seats. But last weekend, I used it as a potty, and it worked perfectly. We were at the zoo, and for some reason, we found ourselves relatively far from any bathroom when my daughter announced she needed to go. We ran around looking for it, and when we finally found it, there was a line 15 people long, and I knew there was no way she was going to be able to wait. So, we ran over to a nearby tree where it was somewhat quiet, and set up the potty. It was easy to set up, it was just in time, and it wasnt messy at all. Im so glad I had it. I dont really understand some of the other reviews that complain about it collapsing. If you set it up properly, and you know it has been when you hear the click, it works without any fear of it collapsing.

> 3 dayWe just started using it at home this week because my daughter decided that shed prefer the big potty to her Baby Bjorn. Today was the first time we road tested it...a 40 min drive to Mom-mom & Pop-pops. It folded compactly, and set up easily at their house. But the best part was on the way home when my daughter needed to go potty and we were still 10mins from home. There was no waiting that last 10 mins so we pulled over, slipped a grocery bag over the handles, lay a diaper in the bottom of the bag, and let her sit in the back deck of the SUV. She thought it was great fun AND was able to maintain her accident-free streak in big girl underpants. (And I didnt have a car seat to clean!!) Its hard plastic but she doesnt seem to mind. I actually think that makes it easier to clean. I only gave it 4 stars because its is a little small for our standard size toilets, so it slips front to back. That makes it hard for her to climb up herself and she cant sit far enough back by herself to prevent extraneous splashing, so I think Ill look for another seat for everyday home use. However Im glad I got this for the road!!

> 3 dayI love this little potty. We potty trained our daughter at 14 months but only in a little potty (would not go if we hovered her over a normal toilet seat). We use the babybjorn potties at home and this one when we leave the house. it folds up so it fits in the diaper bag and comes with plastic carry bag. Just make sure you snap the legs in to lock if using it as a standalone porta potty - the first time I used it I didnt realize this and when she sat on the potty one of the legs folded in and she slid off to the side. Kinda funny to watch but scarred her and she was afraid to use it for a while. I have popped off a leg a few times when trying to unlock them to fold away - not a big deal just pop them back in. After we ran out of the liners we used a plastic grocery bag and no longer needed diapers. Ill use a paper towel once we run out of diapers. Love that when were traveling, she just sits on this little potty in the car or any flat surface and then we can just throw away a plastic bag. It is a little funny shaped so your child may have some difficulty balancing their tushy on it - but my daughter got used to it. Would recommend doing a few practice runs with it at home before taking it on the go when its an emergency.

> 3 dayLoved this! At first I was very skeptical because I thought there was no way my daughter could sit on it in the potty chair mode without having to hover or her touching the bag, but she was easily able to it on it like a regular potty chair with no hovering and no touching the bottom of the bag. It’s a great travel seat! We bought this to keep in our van specifically for the times she has to go and there’s no where to go. We’ve had it for one week and it has came in handy three times! At the park with no actual bathroom? Use the Potette! At a out door event and don’t want your child to use a nasty port-a-potty? Use the potette! It’s small enough to fit between our front seat and captains chair in our Toyota Sienna, so it is very discreet. Seriously wish we had purchased sooner!

23-04-2025I like that this thing folds compactly away for easy storage on top of our bathroom shelf, unlike the other types of kiddy potty seats that are out there. This one doesnt have those clips that secure it on the seat, but it fits nicely and doesnt scootch around. The other clip on seats leave many adults scrambling to undo the blasted thing before natures call can be answered - or leaves them to precariously perch on the toddler sized seat and hole, hoping their adult sized everything makes it in the bowl correctly. This one you just fold out, set on the seat, then when your little tike singes Tinkle tinkle Im a star five million times but doesnt do his toddler dooty, you easily fold back up to store away. It also fits in your diaper bag quite easily, or if youre a mom like me, your purse that looks like a diaper bag. Just toss it in a gallon sized ziplock bag with a few antibacterial wipes and youre good. Its hard to click into place for the stand up style potty, but thats good because it means it is STURDY when you finally get those legs shoved into place. No one needs to terrify their toddler with a collapsing toilet - talk about trauma and many more years of diapers after that one. All in all awesome. Will be ordering another for the upstairs bathroom because Im lazy like that.

> 3 dayThis has saved our lives so many times! It’s lightweight and easy to pack in a small bag or include in your diaper bag. We keep in the car when traveling, stow under the stroller, and even in a backpack when we go bike riding. Our kid is happy to pee on the turtles (the lining) and we never have to use a gross public restroom! Just buy it and keep with you for those long car rides, short car rides, or bring with you on any outing.
