> 24 hourAfter my daughter raved about this travel potty chair I bought one and now have two. I have also given them as gifts to new parents. This thing is so handy. No matter how much you encourage your kids or grandkids to go potty before you leave home they inevitably have to go again when you arrive in the parking lot, or just before you need to head home. Have learned my lesson and now keep this potty chair loaded with a clean bag at all times (Grandpa, I have to go NOW). Bags can be a little tricky to get on at first but once you get the hang of it, no sweat (they are made to stay put so you want them installed correctly). I love the little pad in the bottom that absorbs and holds liquids, it works great. We have never had a leak or spill and have used it for years. Dont forget to order extra bags!

> 24 hourWe like this potty for travel because it is compact and fits any toilet. We also have the Oxo travel potty, which is our top pick. We use the potters plus silicon liner, which fits both travel potties perfectly. The reason this is a runner up is because it is slightly lower to the ground and the locking mechanisms are a little more difficult to use. If you are going to use it as a travel potty, it is a little time consuming to try to pop the legs in and out and push into place. The oxo is a slight bit smoother. If you are using it mostly on the potty at home and don’t have to fold it often, then it is great.

> 24 hourAnyone who has a child who says I have to potty 30 seconds before they are about to go will love this potty. I had this with my oldest and have no clue what possessed me to get rid of it. Now one of my younger ones always seems to have to go potty when we are going down the road. We learned real quick she doesnt give much notice so after cleaning the car seat a few times and replacing it, we got one of these again and so glad we have it. It has saved a lot of trouble and extra cleaning. It is really easy and simple to use. Our youngest are almost 4 years old and we just keep this tucking in our vehicle for emergencies because they do happen and this just makes life easier in those situations.

> 24 hourGreat for travel! My toddler was able to sit on this on the side of the road to potty so we had no accidents in the car! (Child was away from the road, covered, and both parents were right beside the child). It was super convenient, easy to pack, and I loved the reassurance it gave my toddler. Very sturdy and easy to store!

> 24 hourI bought this to potty train my daughter before she turned two. Because I was able to be consistent even when we were away from home, she was daytime potty trained in 3 weeks. We liked this so much that we keep one in the car at all times, ready to go, for those really inconvenient Potty-potty! calls on the road. We travel with this one also. Imagine a full restroom in Disneyland and not having to wait for a stall because you have this. If I had to wait for a stall, we would have had a mess to clean up. I just put down some paper towels on the ground in a corner of the restroom, pull out the Potette, let her sit on it to do her thing. There was some mommy-envy from moms in line for a stall. They asked me where I got it. My 21month old son is nearly daytime potty trained after two weeks. I must say that this is best for 18-24month olds because of its height. For boys especially, one has to be very careful to aim downward or a stream of urine could easily arch up & out. Buy this and you will not regret it when your little one is in big kid underwear and you can be fearless about getting to the potty in time!

> 24 hourBuy it, you won’t regret it! Having a 2.5 year old who has recently been potty trained and finding a clean safe public bathroom is a nightmare(especially with a girl). Worry no more with this light weight travel potty. It’s literally saved us from TONS of accidents. We take it and have used it everywhere we go. City streets, trains, car rides but most of all playgrounds. When your kid/s has to go they have to go! Good luck running, trying to find a bathroom with your other children and a stroller. Almost impossible. They can’t hold it for long so having this travel potty makes life so convenient. We get stopped often when it’s out and so many people can’t believe how cool it is. It’s my favorite child item for sure! You won’t regret it. We store ours in a light weight draw string bag, with tissues, wipes and tons of plastics bags and we’re good to go!

> 24 hourThis potty/potty seat seemed like a terrific idea for travel and walks, but the folding legs dont snap into place firmly. One of my daughters was particularly excited to use it ... until the legs folded when she was on it, and she fell on her face. Now shes afraid of it and would rather wet herself on a walk than use it, which really defeats the purpose. The problem is that the legs move between their three positions -- fully folded, down for use as a potty, and straight out to the sides for use as a potty seat -- very easily. Yes, they snap in place, but they also snap out of place with just a little pressure. With a design like this, there should be some locking mechanism, or it should at least take a lot more pressure to move the legs from position to position. FYI, the potty comes with a few bags to get you started and also includes a plastic draw-string back you can use to carry it around. July 2016: Coming back years later to revise this review. Yeah, its easy not to lock the legs in place properly and end up with a spilled kid, but once you get the hang of how to lock the legs, these potties are pretty darned handy. To tell you the truth, we still carry one of these around in the car for kiddie emergency pee breaks, three or four years on. Any cheap plastic item we still find useful after four years deserves more than two stars! A very handy item. Just practice locking the legs before you start using it.

> 24 hourI just got this a couple of days ago, but weve already put it to good use. My daughter has just decided to be potty trained, and I wanted to be serious about it. So, a day after she started, we went to a doctors appointment. I had no clue what to do about going in public with a toddler who wasnt wearing a diaper, so I decided to take our regular potty seat. It was big and bulky and barely fit in my diaper bag (I have a 6-month old, too, so the bag was packed out). When I came home from that appointment, is when I decided to look for an alternative to the regular potty seat. Someone told me about the foldable seats, and thats what I was going to get. Then I came across the potette 2-in-1. It seemed to be exactly what I needed. Were going on a few trips this summer, and toilets might not always be around, so I really needed something that could be both a potty seat and a potty chair. Its small enough to easily fit in a packed out diaper bag (dont get me wrong, its still bulky, but I cant imagine it being any smaller than it is), it comes in nice bag to keep everything else around it sanitary, and its just an all-around great concept! My daughter has successfully used it as a seat on a regular sized toilet out in public twice already. She hasnt used it as a potty chair yet, but I did have her sit on it to test it out. Its very sturdy. I cant say enough good things about this product and will be recommending it to all my friends! UPDATE: Its been a week and we have used this item so many times, and both ways - as a chair and a a seat on a regular toilet. This one product has been so instrumental in keeping the potty training going away from home. Weve used it in the car, in a parking lot, in public restrooms, at church, at a park....everywhere! Its a must-have.

> 24 hourThe little one that I care for is quite petite so this is an especially good purchase for me for that reason. That means she will be able to use this for a lot longer than other children might. If your child has long legs then you can take the empty box from a case of soda and turn it upside-down under this seat on the floor. Ive thanked God for this potty seat! Its light weight so its easy to carry to the mall and everywhere in a small to medium sized tote bag. Not having to put this tiny girl on a big public (filthy) toilet is PRICELESS! I do struggle a bit trying to lock and unlock the legs into the right position but still…its worth the struggle. You have to push and pull pretty hard to get them into the right place and my arms and wrists arent that strong. I use regular food store bags in it along with three folded paper towels. I put it on the floor in the family rest rooms. Its all washable. This is a clever design and Im very glad to have this option for her. Even though shes almost four shes still using it. A good purchase! :-)
