> 24 hourAfter reading multiple reviews for Kindle lights, I chose the Kandle and anxiously awaited its arrival. The product I received acted like a strob light, never staying on, flashing, dimming, doing everything but work as anticipated. I contacted Ozeri who responded quickly with an apology and the promise to send a new one immediately. That one does work and if absolutely such a better light than my previous light. It brightened the entire screen with little or no glare. My only issue is I am not sure how to make it stay on my Kindle with the cover I have. It tends to pop off if on the top. So I just keep in attached to the inside pocket and clip it on when needed.

> 24 hourThis product is way too bright for nighttime reading. I applaud the attempt to have two different brightness settings. However, as is, the low setting is too bright and destroys your night vision. Ive tempered the brightness with a piece of scotch tape over the glass that has been darkened with black magic marker. Additionally, the clip isnt very stable. The clip isnt deep enough to find sufficient purchase on the back of my Kindle. It only grabs a few millimeters of the flat back. The slightest shake will loosen the Kandle from my Kindle. Realistically, the clip needs to be an inch longer or be curved similar to the back curve of the Kindles edge. It needs more surface area or friction in contact between devices. With these issues, though, Im still somewhat pleased with the purchase. Ill continue modifying it to achieve the desired nighttime lumens. Ill next try wiring in three microswitches to disconnect each of the 3 LEDs one at a time.

> 24 hourWhile most book lights for the Kindles have a clip and a swan-neck scoping out of it with a light attached, this is a more compact version that works equally well and illuminates the page but is more compact for travel. I have 3 versions of the Kindle and an ipad and it fits all 3. Better yet, there is no telescoping bendable neck that you have to mold into place each time you clip it on then reposition after you take it off and put it back on again because it would move if kept in a bag or suitcase or even during removal. This can stay clipped on and always be at hand when needed without getting in the way as my other lights have. It adjusts to the size of your e-reader, whatever it may be. And its apparently quite sturdy because UPS banged the heck out of this package and even put holes in it and it came out of the package unscathed. that is a good test for the airlines of how it will handle travel.

> 24 hourI am using a Nook Touch, not a kindle, so I was a little concerned that it wouldnt work as well (grip the case or get in the way) on a different device. I was very pleasantly suprised. The illumination is sufficiently adjustable, both in terms of the intensity and the angle, to provide clear and bright illumination across the screen. The width of the light insures that it provides even illumination across the screen as well. Cant comment yet on the battery life but I dont read under very dim conditions too often so I am expecting quite a while. The only down side to this has been the lack of a rechargeable battery. Nice job.

> 24 hourIm so happy with this light that I recently purchased a second one. I have a Kindle 3 and this light works beautifully with it. Is it brighter closer to the bulbs than the bottom of the page? Of course it is, but not by much. This light gives off plenty of illumination to read anywhere on the page. Im over 50 and struggle to see well in poor light, but I can read just fine with this. If you do happen to have trouble, simply re-orient your Kindle page to landscape and clip your light to the long side of the Kindle and youll be fine. Ive also used this light for reading a regular book in a car at night and it works well for that too.

> 24 hourThis little Kandle gives off great light and the battery lasts for quite a while. My only complaints are about the design. It is very easy to accidentally turn the light on when moving it around. The on button is in the same place you put your fingers to squeeze open the clip. In addition, it is difficult to access the compartment to change the batteries. Otherwise, I would have given the Kandle 5 stars.

> 24 hourI just got this to replace another Kindle light that wouldnt hold a charge. Its just about perfect when it comes to brightness, even lighting and weight. The only problem I have with it is that it moves on the Kindle. The clip is designed so that it cant be pushed fully down tight to the clip, or it covers the top of your Kindle. This means that it can move fairly easily. Ive got it stable enough that Im comfortable moving it, but it does interrupt occasionally for readjustment.

> 24 hourI received the Kandle as a Christmas gift to replace my other book light. I was using a mighty bright with a flexible neck but I found it was so top heavy it kept falling off my Kindle if moved even slightly. This product has been great. It stays where you put it, it has two brightness settings and can be angled a couple different ways. The Kandle is nice and small and it still lights up the entire screen. The only downside is that the product clip is a little too deep. When pushed all the way onto the Kindle it comes down over the screen. I use the Kindle Touch and I can still see the top line of text but Im not sure if this would be an issue on any other device. Over all I love this product and definitely recommend it!

> 24 hourNice book light. It puts out plenty of light for reading, I think both the semi-bright and full bright work well in poorly lit reading areas. The only complaint I have is that the reading light is a little loose on my Kindle. While adjusting the light if its not held firmly, the whole thing kind of moves around but once youve got everything the way you want it, it stays put.

> 24 hourI was trying to use a regular book light for my Kindle 3, and it kept popping off. The price point on this Kandle is a bit high, but now that I have it, I think its worth it. It fits perfectly on my Kindle 3 and matches the graphite color really nicely. Other reviewers have mentioned the feel of this Kandle and I have to echo my approval -- its got a soft, matte finish -- and this makes it a lot better than if it were shiny plastic. BUT on to functionality: the lighting is great! I use it on the first level of brightness almost all the time, but for those who want/need more, it has a second higher level of brightness, also. Major plus for having its own case, screwdriver, and additional replacement battery. Very pleased! Update: OK, so the battery life kind of sucks. The good news is you can get a bunch of replacement batteries cheaply on eBay. The bad news is, Ive accidentally turned on the light a few times and have even drained all new batteries without even knowing it (or using it once!). Its too bad the Kandle doesnt come packed in a hard carrying case, because its too easy to trigger the switch and turn it on while its in your bag. [Its also hard to tell that youve turned it on because you cant really see the light on while the lid is down, so its not like its shining brightly in your bag if its on.] My friend got the SimpleLight for Kindle (
