A great product. Used it to replace our 50+ year old door locks. The installation was easy and (if you have a Kwikset key) very easy to rekey to match the old keys so you dont have to get new keys for everyone that needs one. Great for an easy DYI project.

I am replacing the hardware on all my exterior doors and this Kwikset combo pack fit in with the other hardware throughout my house. I like the lever handles because they are easier to open when the arthritis in my hands flare up. The deadbolt combo set features a keyed lock and a deadbolt and seems very secure but a feature that I like very much about this set is the Smartkey feature which easily allows all my new exterior door locks to be keyed on the same key; I dont have to have 3 different keys for each of my exterior doors. I like these locks very much

The hardware itself feels sturdy; looks & works really well. The instructions were a little difficult to follow and screws not labeled. Good thing this isnt my first installation. I needed to chisel out the deadbolt space, as this one is more substantial than the one I replaced. Not a huge deal, though.

Easy to install, look great too

We had the old gold fixtures in our house all older quickset locks and wanted to bring our doors inline with our more modern style. The Kwikset SmartKey latches were a drop in replacement for the old latches and the SmartKey feature allowed me to keep all the doors keyed the same as before. I would have given this product 5 stars but one of the sets I ordered the Deadbolt assembly was mis-threaded, I had to return the item to Amazon for replacement. As always Amazon did great but I had one gold door 3 days longer. Quality control on the Kwikset product could have been better.

I like the ability to rekey the lock so I can use the same key on all the locks.

They fit the door great and i like the look of them. Was easy to install, the directions were good. The smart lock feature is so nice. Now all my locks are the same key. Pay attention to the directions when you use the smart lock to rekey. They came with 2 keys but it sure would be nice if they shipped 4. Oh well, getting extras cut at the hardware store wasnt too expensive.

I replaced my old failing front door set with this. Its good-looking (beauty being the eye of the beholder and all that), was easy to install AND re-key! I wasnt expecting that feature to be so easy to do, and really appreciate that part of the design. But, its just not as stalwart or heavy as Id hoped. The door levers have some unwanted play when pressing down or lifting up to open the door. Theyll probably snap off some day, but for the money? Works for now. Ill cross that bridge when I get to it.

I purchased these as part of a complete replacement of the 25 year old brass hardware in my house. Install is quick and easy. The levers are reversible. They weigh about 20% less than the old units I pulled off, but they feel sturdy enough They look great, and work smooth. I dont know if theyll hold up for another 25 years. The SmartKey feature is really nice. I have that on some rental property and rekeying takes only a few minutes. The advantage here was that I ordered three units, and didnt have to worry about them being keyed alike. In fact, I got three random key patterns, all usable with the SmartKey system, saving even more money, and making my life simpler. Oh, and they are supposed to be bumping resistant. Another good thing.

Looks great and very simple to install. The directions are clear and concise. The SmartKey function is wonderful, it allows you to re-key the locks with an existing key, which is great if you want to keep your old key or you want it to match other locks in your house. I will say the deadbolt was very tricky to get right with the SmartKey. I happen to have a reset tool for Smartkey locks so I was able to fix it when it didnt program right, but if you dont have one of those or dont want to buy one, be very very careful with the deadbolt when you use the SmartKey function. I love the look of these, the Satin Nickel finish is much classier looking than the standard silver knob the came with my house. To get it facing the right way, the handle at to be flipped, which means the lock is upside down. Not a major issue, but keep that in mind if that aesthetically will bother you. They have a great heft to them. All in all, Im a big fan, but again be careful using the SmarKey function on the deadbolt and make sure you get it right!
