> 24 hourI ordered this humidifier for my many houseplants upon the recommendation of a master gardener on Instagram. Its quiet and I like the different control options. Love that I can direct mist in two different directions. I could have sworn that I read its filled from the top and not the bottom. I was wrong, it has to be turned upside down to fill it with water. Thats what I hated about the smaller Levoit humidifier I was using before. It can be difficult to line everything up to fit the top back onto the bottom. I dont understand why the designers didnt change this feature. I am happy for my plants.

> 24 hourI’ve been using this humidifier 24/7 for three years without a hitch. I live in a very dry environment and was always getting shocked whenever I touched anything. Once I got this humidifier, that stopped. My living area is 2500 square feet and this humidifier has no problem with the size of the home. If this thing ever breaks down, I’ll be replacing it with another Levoit humidifier product. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourThis is the third humidifier Ive tried to humidify our bedroom. I suppose our bedroom would be considered large-ish? Medium-large, at any rate. Every other humidifier has utterly failed in getting our humidity up in there. Our house is consistently in the teens for percent humidity in the living room (which is right outside our bedroom) because of the wood stove. Since we got this humidifier, Ive been running it starting at 6 or 7 PM and running all night long until I get up in the morning around 7:30. And only since we got this humidifier have I been not waking up dry as a bone and unable to sleep because my throat, mouth, and nasal passageways are dried up. I dont even sleep with my mouth open and this is how its been feeling this winter! This humidifier works like a charm! I love how I can completely turn off the light. ANY bit of light in our bedroom at night bothers me. This machine is also completely quiet from what I can tell, but I sleep with a noise machine for a consistent fan noise anyway. I dont really go by the humidity % on the machine because Im skeptical about how accurate it is. I mean, it probably is 46% humidity in the area directly around the machine, but that doesnt do much for me 7 or 8 steps away by the bed, where I know its not. So I just let the machine run on high all night and I havent had a problem of over humidifying, so theres really no need to set the machine to turn off at a certain humidity or time. I really wish I could just fill it from the top. Im not really sure why they couldnt have made a screw cap on top in the back for that. Its kind of a pain to take off the nozzle piece where the steam comes out, then lift up the whole basin with the handle and flip it over to fill it, then handle the heavy basin to put it back correctly without clumsily knocking it or something. I havent needed to clean the unit yet, but reading the instructions kind of make that sound like a pain, too. Filling it and cleaning it are probably the only cons Ive found so far. I bought a ZeroWater filtering pitcher to fill this machine with to hopefully prevent mineral buildup. I havent had any white dust accumulate on anything so I assume its working so far. Im also using the pitcher for my houseplants. The only con for that thing is the fact that it takes forever to filter all the water needed to fill the humidifier each night. But thats not a con for the humidifier, obviously.

> 24 hourI was tired of the inability to keep our ole Honeywell (filter style) cleaned. I took it apart with intentions to clean, but when I was done…..I wasn’t putting it back together. So, when it was determined it was being replaced, I wanted to find a replacement that had more and better features. After my research, Levoit won out over all the others. Filterless was important. Being able to disable all lights was important along with several others. We turn this Levoit on and leave it on. At this stage, we are very pleased with our selection.

> 24 hourI had another Levoit humidifier that only lasted about a year. The tank cracked in several spots but otherwise was pretty solid. This one looks to be better built. For the review mentioning this wont work with 5G routers, you should be able to setup both a 5G and 2.5 on your 5G router. Ive had to do this with lighting in my house and it works fine once you set that up. Also important to note, the humidity sensor doesnt work. It bounces around all the time. Currently, its saying 75% but my humidity meter in that same room reads 40%. Sometimes it works but its pretty rare so dont buy it if you plan to use the auto mode.

> 24 hourI have a totally simple Levoit humidifier downstairs (cold only, just pour water in top, no auto shut-off, no learning curve). I use that one frequently because its so easy. This one is upstairs - I figured the heat setting would be nice if Im sick, as would the essential oil set-up, but it turned out that Im too busy to want to read the instructions, so as of yet Im just using it like the simple one downstairs. It does have two steam spouts so you can turn them in whatever direction you want. Someday Ill read all the instructions.

> 24 hourWe have had this humidifier for a year now and it’s still going strong. It can make a 425 SQ ft room hot boxed with how much moister it can create. You can also adjust the two pointers it has to get humidity to go in different directions or a specific direction. It has a hot mode and a cool water mode which is great for different things! I also love that it has an essential oil filter where you can add essential oils for relaxation. It’s the best humor on Amazon.

> 24 hourI live in Arizona and it is very dry here. I bought this to replace my evaporative humidifier in my bedroom. The problem is with the sonic types of humidifiers they produce copious amounts of white mineral dust. This dust clogs my CPAP filters after a couple of days. The small particulate dust gets around the filters as well and fully coats the interior of my CPAP machine. It creates a very earth smell when using the CPAP. I know that I can use distilled water to reduce that issue but that becomes costly. My recommendation is to avoid these types of humidifiers if you have a CPAP device in the room. My other issue is the lack of controls to set the humidity level. I believe you can use an app but I did not get that far into the process and would really prefer to have that option as a physical control on the machine.

> 24 hourWe already have a smaller levoit humidifier but it kept running out of water within a single night or so, and we were still suffering low humidity in our home. We decided we needed another with a larger capacity and looked at this model. I had read reviews saying that this model might work too well in that it left puddles for some people near the machine. I can understand how this could happen as it does spout a HUGE amount of mist that arcs out similar to a water fountain. However this has never happened to us. We keep our humidity at around 40-50. We positioned ours in the bedroom on top of one of those IKEA Lack tables. The mist will spout up and out of the humidifier and easily reaches the ground (visually seems to “touch” the ground). Table is about 17-18 inches tall plus the height of the humidifier, so that hopefully gives an idea of the density of mist that I’m talking about. The reason I mentioned it being confusing is that we have a hydrometer right next to it, but if we set the humidifier to say 40, I have seen the humidifier not go off even though the hydrometer indicates a lower number than 40. I’ve seen it as low as 10 points lower than what the hydrometer claims the humidity to be despite being right next to the humidifier. So I’m not sure what is accurate or inaccurate - the humidifier or the hydrometer. Another thing that’s annoying is that whatever is detecting water in the tank can be finicky. I don’t know if we just have something slightly defective, but the first time we set it up to use, it indicated no water in the tank despite there being enough water. Our work around is that we have to jiggle or lift the tank up and down a few times, causing the air to get into the water tank (you’ll see big air bubbles rise up). Eventually it fixes the issue and it detects the water, but it can be annoying. Design wise, I dislike that you have to flip the tank to fill it with water and then put it back. It’s similar to a water cooler’s design and it just feels a little nerve racking to flip the tank back onto the base in my carpeted bedroom. I think despite all these issues, the humidifier works well and also holds a ton of water. We were previously having dry and cracked skin issues and now we no longer have that happening. We actually haven’t cleaned it yet even though we’ve had it for awhile, but it doesn’t seem like there is any build up yet. We use only distilled water and we use it frequently. Overall if you need a larger tank humidifier, this will do the job. I would suggest getting it on sale though as we did.
