This is the best one by far. I have severe allergies and this has helped immensely with them especially at night when i go to sleep.

I have a regular cold mist humidifier and it doesn’t work as well as this one. When I use just a regular cold mist humidifier I end up with a bad cough and sinus congestion. But this model of levoit humidifier I have an option for warm mist and it comes with two different types of filters for the water. I have always used distilled water for this humidifier and with the two filters it’s amazing. It can raise the humidity level within a few minutes on the low setting. It also barely makes any noise besides on the highest temperature (warm mist only). Cleaning the product is also easy since most of the parts can be removed and dried. The app feature is also a plus.

This humidifier is well made and generally convenient to operate. The remote control works well; and the options for mist control, percent humidity, and operational time selection are user-friendly and clearly presented via the icons and the user manual. The system is also whisper quiet and delivers a fine mist. The only thing I dont like is that it requires distilled water to operate correctly (i.e., an unnecessary expense) and you cannot pour the water into the system from the top of the unit. Instead, you have to remove the tank, invert it, unscrew the cap, and then pour the water in. This is a little clumsy, especially since you may be doing it every day or so. Other than that, it seems to be a very good unit.

This is my third humidifier - my prior purchases were much cheaper and this is worth every dollar. Best features are a timer, automatically adjusting to the humidity, it shows you the humidity in the room in real-time, and the warm mist function is a game changer. The only difficulty I will say is cleaning it. It has a lot of moving parts to be cleaned. Outside of that, I would recommend.

First of all, I want to say, that I (and my plants) loved this unit, and it has worked fine the 3 months I have used it. However, I have found that this mist humidifier (and all mist humidifiers, I guess) goes through my house and leaves a fine mist of white dust on my furnace filter, which makes my furnace short cycle! I have never heard of this before, but I had a heating guy in my house yesterday (for an unrelated issue) and he was telling me about that, and of many customers who have this issue. I think distilled water would be the best, but Ive been using about 2 gallons a day, and am not going to buy that much distilled water! Now, I have to figure out what to do, to get humidity into my house! :(
