Liftmaster 41c4220a Gear and Sprocket Kit for Chamberlain, Sears, Craftsman and LiftMaster 1/3 and 1/2 HP Chain Drive Models

Used it to fix an old garage opener, and I was done in less than an hour. It wouldve cost me hundreds of dollars to have ti fixed by a garage repair person, and I did it with just regular tools and a stepladder. If you have doubts, check the Youtube channel, and they have videos on how to do it.

the kit was very easy to install and it came pronto I had to hide it from the wife just so I wouldnt have to install it that day very satisified

Had all the parts required to rebuild the drive unit. Watch a couple YouTube videos and it no problem to do the R&R. Lift runs better the. When it was new. I dont think the factory put as much lube on the gears as I did with the supplied kit.

The kit had all the parts to revive my Craftsman 1/2 HP opener. Mine had twisted off the shaft because the shaft had worn a massive groove in it from the bearing under the sprocket wearing out and the shaft was running on the bearing plate. The opener was from 2002 so pretty good life overall. The gears actually looked quite good still but they all got new stuff as well. I did drill a small hole through the sprocket at the edge of the shaft to make it easy to relube that upper bearing from time to time. Bravo to making an all inclusive parts kit for a reasonable price!

This kit has everything that is needed to repair the garage door opener. Not too difficult to install if you are mechanically gifted, otherwise you may need someone who has correct tools and ability. Instructions are clear and parts quality is excellent. It sure quieted the operation of my opener. I would recommend it to anyone who has a worn garage door opener. It beats buying an new opener.
