Liftmaster 41c4220a Gear and Sprocket Kit for Chamberlain, Sears, Craftsman and LiftMaster 1/3 and 1/2 HP Chain Drive Models

I decided to tackle this rebuild job myself even though it was covered under my home warranty ($75 deductible and have to wait around for a service call) and Im glad I did. It was a little bit of a pain to install, mostly because access to a couple of the bolts was tricky. And while I probably spent a total of two hours taking it apart (ordering the part) and the then installing it when it came, Im fairly sure I could do it again in a half hour or so. I didnt replace the worm gear since mine still looks new - only the main spindle gear was totally worn down. So, a light medium on installation difficulty, and top stars on this replacement kit itself.

Works 100% easy to install.. Save me money instead of buying new garage opener.

Worked perfectly installation was complete with parts included.

Parts were correct for my door opener,HOWEVER----the pre-drilled and threaded holes were not properly threaded and upon install I broke a screww off rendering the whole thing useless-----------I will NEVER order from here again!

Works with my 1/2 HP Lift-Master. The gear was stripped and this kit did the trick to repair it, and with OEM material to boot! Comes with directions for different repairs so you dont need to try and decipher which steps to follow. Saved me the couple of hundred bucks a new one would have cost.

Just what I needed to repair my door. Saved a nice piece of change by getting these parts and fixing it myself.

Parts were exactly as described, and shipped to my door in 10 days. Very inexpensive repair. Plan for 2 hours, and dont touch the very large capacitor (large tube with two electrical connections).

Not having to buy a new garage opener.

After a Google search on how to replace the gears. Took me about 20 minutes to replace the gear set.
