Liftmaster 41c4220a Gear and Sprocket Kit for Chamberlain, Sears, Craftsman and LiftMaster 1/3 and 1/2 HP Chain Drive Models

Great product. All the parts needed to replace the drive gears and then some. Could have used some more details in the reassembly area but I managed just fine.

Perfect replacement parts.

The top metal sprocket sheared off my opener and I was preparing to buy a new opener when I found this. The parts appear to be OEM or equal quality. Instructions were adequate, but not excellent. It took me about 1 1/2 hours altogether to replace the main gear/sprocket piece and get the opener working again. I didnt replace the worm gear as there was nothing wrong with the existing one and that would have involved more steps. The opener seems to be as good as new and is much quieter than it had been. Im glad I found this - it was much less expensive and probably easier/quicker than replacing the entire opener.

This gear and sprocket replacement kit was a prefect fit for my application. Easy to install with the attached instructions. Saved me from having to replace my complete garage door opener.

Youtube video helped a lot and gave me the confidence to give this a go. Figured worst case I was out 22 bucks. But it was super easy to fix my opener with this part. I cheated a little and just replaced the gear and sprocket and not all the bearing and stuff which saved me having to take the limit switch and the motor off. 30 min of work and some greasy hands and my opener works great

I wish I could have just gotten what I needed. BUT, I had to buy a kit with lots of extra stuff included. Even the instructions say I didnt need the second half. More for stuff for the landfill. What a shame.
