Greater than one weekOur garage door kept stopping part way up and down. It turns out the chain kept jumping off the sprocket assembly. The whole shaft was bent. It looks like when they replaced our door a year ago they probably over tightened the chain. It was going to cost $400 for the repair guy to do this job. I decided to tackle it myself. It took me 1.5 hour and thats only because I couldnt adjust the chain tension because there was a 2X4 blocking it when the door is closed. I made the mistake of lifting the door and adjusting the chain. The result of this mistake was the opener thought it was open and kept trying to close the door. I couldnt get it to come back up. I had to remove the chain and reset the position. I figured out a way to adjust the chain tension in between the 2x4 and it worked fine. The instructions are very thorough. If you follow them it will only take 30 minutes if you have the common problem of a worn worm gear. If you have to replace the sprocket as well it will take up to an hour. Make sure you apply that grease to the worm gear. I would recomend some whit lithium spray grease for your chain as well.

> 3 dayI have a Craftsman 41A4315-6D and this worked great and was fairly easy to install. Glad I didnt have to buy a whole new garage door opener. Hopefully it lasts, but so far so good.

> 3 dayAs far as the parts alone - 5 stars -no issues. Good luck though with the instructions. This is not a simple install. Lots of things to disassemble and put back together again. Its doable, but more than I thought it would be. The instructions could have been in Latin and I would have found them just as useful. Thank goodness for YouTube.

> 3 dayWorked perfectly. Exact part number match to number in manual. Follow instructions for install and adjustment and you should have no problems. Took about 2hrs to complete. Suggest removing unit from ceiling and rail. $25.00 vs new door opener. quite a deal.
